Ricky is the owner of Los Agaves Napa. Look familiar? The past 20 years he has worked at some of the best restaurants in the Napa Valley including working as a cook at Tra Vigne, front of house at La Toque, and as a manager at Bistro Don Giovanni. He knows the importance of great service, quality, and consistency of food. With 20 years of restaurant experience and passion for his heritage he hopes to bring Napa a small taste of Mexico.

The food was good and the service was friendly but it was way too fast. Within minutes of our ordering we had our food, and our dishes were whisked away as soon as they were empty. While we weren't rushed out, we did feel rushed.

We were seated in the patio, at our request. Ivan greeted us promptly, and guided us through the menu. We loved our dishes (I had the enchiladas with mole-yum!) and Mike had the steak (arriba or something like that). We would absolutely return.

No issues with service. Everyone was nice and friendly. Food was good and the restaurant was fun. Thought it was a little over priced but it’s downtown Napa so you pay to be there. Had the burrito which was so big 2 of us could not finish it. Also had the Mole chicken enchiladas and they were spicy. Not so much I couldn’t eat but delicious overall.

We love Los Agaves and stop in there every year after Bottlerock! THE BEST Guacamole on the planet and the ceviche is off the charts too! Food is always cooked to perfection! Service is fantastic! It’s a real lively place with a fun atmosphere!

This is our first time visit and it was an amazing experience. Mezcal cocktails were amazing and creative. Food was delicious. Our charming, attentive server and staff were friendly, professional and fun. Great dining experience! Will be back again.

We were so excited to try this restaurant now that CCasa is gone . The chips and guacamole were amazing . The quesadilla and tacos were so so. Both my husband and I left full but unsatisfied. We probably will not return . Darn

This was one of the worst places, I have tried. If you have ever seen those "millennial taco places that serve poor food" this is one of those spots. I made a reservation in advance as a celebration for my mother. Food: Do not expect anything traditional or with flavor by any means. I had the Chile relleño, but it was bland, Chile was raw, and not even fried or cooked, they spent more time on presentation than cooking. My mother had the Alambre (fancy name for fajitas) no sizzle and the meat was heavily undercooked and chewy and covered in cheese, tortillas were also raw you could taste the masa grain. Even my girlfriend's enchiladas de mole were bad, they used a tomato base instead of a traditional Chile base and were also bland. Service: Our server was doing his best and I commend him very well as I have been in his shoes before. However, the hostess was dressed fairly inappropriately for the location and the manager spent more time on his phone than on the floor. We were served our appetizer, dinner, and chips but never were given napkins or silverware until I had to ask the Server's assistant to bring some for all 3 of us. Mind you we were in perfect view of the manager yet his phone was more important. If this is what Napa Awards "Best of 2024", you might as well go to a different city for food. This was a major disappointment and deserves to be stripped of its awards.
