Great place! A little too noisy but it was a baseball crowd night. Great margaritas! Food was great! Chicken & waffle good recommendation.
Great food although the service was a bit slow. Band was good but was a bit loud.
Service was really slow. It took 30mins before our order was taken, and another 30mins before we received our food. The chicken and waffles was also really tough and slightly dry
Delicious breakfast, great eggs, sausage gravy, and biscuits
Fantastic, Nashville-like atmosphere with great food and servers. Awesome drinks as well
Food was nothing to rave about. Service was friendly.
The food was amazing- smoked turkey with sweet potato hash and eggs as well as cheese grits and bacon candy. Our drinks were some moonshine concoction I don’t remember the name, but they were fruity and delicious! Service was fast and friendly. There was even a live band. All in all, a five-star experience!
Great music, DELICIOUS food! We've only been for weekend brunch but both times were fabulous.
Cool first date spot. Good energy in that place. And the habanero Wings are life
Perfect pre Sox spot for great southern type food ( fried chicken and waffles is a must!) And great cocktails, make a mean Bloody Mary. Add live entertainment and is a "winner winner chicken dinner"
Live music was a nice surprise!
It’s wicked loud, so don’t plan to have conversation with the person next to you. They don’t split checks, which is annoying. Everyone in my party loved their food!
We came for Saturday brunch on a gorgeous day. They were having a raucous fundraiser so we sat outside. The food was delicious, particularly the pan handle grits. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. This Southerner gives it a hearty thumbs up for Southern comfort food!
We arrived and sat outside. Which it was beautiful but there was a pretty big charity event happening so it might have been less great to be inside. We both got basic meals. My chicken and waffles while presented beautifully was lacking something. The breading was just off. Not sure if it was fried too long or what. We asked for basic scrambled egg whites which were done without issues. I also got a salad instead of home fries and toast which was nice not to be charged extra for?? Overall great experience and will come back to try other things on the menu
There was a private event at 9:00 PM. The dinner felt rushed and they couldn't get us out of there fast enough.
Great food and drinks for a good value. Can’t beat being right near Fenway.
Hostess was very kind as well as the servers. Food was out on a timely manner and I really enjoyed their grits (and that says something because I don't care for them usually). It was very loud but I think that's how the ambiance of the place was like - live music for lively people. Place was really clean and well decorated and lit. Waiter checked in on us periodically which was always great and she was easy to call over if we needed something. Overall, would definitely come back again and try some other food too.
Great food and service
I was at Loretta’s with a big group for brunch before the Red Sox game. Drinks and food were good, and they started live music at noon which was really cool! It gets crowded pretty quick so I recommend going early.
I get back (to) Loretta’s as often as I can. (My apologies to Lennon/McCartney.)
Perfect for meeting friends and before events at Fenway. The staff is friendly and helpful and ready to meet my every request.
The food leaves a lot to be desired and the worst sweet tea I have ever had (also unlike everywhere else, there is no free refills on your tea). I asked for 1/2 and 1/2 sweet tea and they gave me half sweet tea and half lemonade (my mistake, in the north I guess that's what people think that means, in the south it means half sweetened half unsweetened). When I asked for 1/2 sweet 1/2 unsweetened they didn't have that, so instead they gave me half tea and half water.
Also the chicken for the chicken and waffles was extremely salty and their maple syrup was this weird bbq sauce. No bueno.
I would say the only reason to come here is for the music.
Normally one of our very favorite places in the city, this visit was quite disappointing. Erratic service and room temperature food that tasted old. I really hope this was just an off night.
went for lunch pre Red Sox home opener, band was playing so loud you literally could not talk to the person sitting next you. the band was good, but way to loud for a small place.
Great food and accommodated perfectly for our party of six.
Easy to get to and park. My wife and I had a delicious brunch and then continued on to Logan to meet an incoming flight. Unfortunately we only had a half hour with a good local bluegrass group. We will adjust our schedule for our next visit.
Glad I made a reservation, as the line to get in was extremely long. With a reservation there was no wait or cover charge. Once inside the service was great.
I would recommend the Truck Stop plate. Be sure to ask for the sauce on the side as the waffle and chicken soak up all the sauce thus making it soggy.
Another awesome experience! Great food, great service, and great music with Martin and Kelly!
Food was sub par at best. If you’re going for a drink and entertainment, then it’s not a bad spot.
We loved the live bluegrass band at brunch but it seemed no one else did. The food was hearty and plentiful.
Got to the door and was told I need ID to enter. I had reservations for food service, NOT the bar. I did not have my ID on my person so had to walk 10 minutes back to my car and then 10 minutes back to the restaurant. I was let in and then stopped again to be charged a $5 cover, even though I had reservations for food service. The host was not personable and rude. I was told o had to wait because someone “stole the table.” Literally. The table was taken away. As we were eating our dinner, it was clear the restaurant was being transformed into a full bar, and the coat check lady stared myself and my friend down to the pint of uncomfortability. The waitress was great and accommodating to my requests but I would not go back a second time.
Highly Recommend! Excellent service and amazing food! The brisket melts in your mouth! The chicken and waffles we're reported to be the absolute best but every meal that was ordered was incredibly good! The management was great too and stayed really visible-even checking in with each table to see how the night was going. MUST GO!!
Great place to go with a group before an event! Great comfort food!
Carly was an outstanding server. Fried chicken was legit. Great pre concert spot.
I love Loretta's! The food is some of the best Southern food in Boston, the prices are super reasonable, and it's a fun vibe! Great cocktails too!
Bluegrass Brunch- laid back and fun! The food isn’t too special; it’s basic southern food. However, the people and ambiance make up for it!
Met up with some friends for dinner.
The chicken and waffles were amazing.
We also tried cheesecake which was also good.
They do offer a vegetarian and gluten free menu as well. The vegetarian in our group enjoyed the veggie burger.
We love Lorettta's! We have never had a bad experience here. Strong drinks, great food, and some of the best live music in Boston. Country music fan or not you have to appreciate the lively bar scene. Go out with a group of friends and enjoy! We took family from out of town and they couldn't believe the quality of music available for such a low cover charge. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for something to do on essentially any night of the week, no matter what there's always something going on at Loretta's! Also, side note they have a great weekend brunch!
Loretta's was selected for it's proximity to the House of Blues, but it certainly provided a satisfying pre-show meal. A lengthy beer selection and a broad menu from full meals to sandwiches. The smoky brisket tacos were just the right sized portion and tender as can be. Nice meal
no live Music on two visits. only a few people there. boring.
