We had a pleasant dining experience at Lorenzillo's - Punta Cana on Thursday night. The restaurant is spacious and clean with a lovely view while dining outside on the patio. The service was friendly, and the food was tasty. This was our second time at a Lorenzillo's. We went to the one in Los Cabos, Mexico, which is the reason we chose to dine here. Both locations are equally nice. We appreciated the birthday song and dessert at the end of the night to celebrate my friend's special day. Thank you to the team at Lorenzillo's - Punta Cana!

Nice (manufactured) setting. Service good (a bit hovering). Lobster bisque was decent but main course fish dishes were terrible---overcooked, rubbery fish with a few pieces of (bleached?) broccoli and strands of red and yellow peppers (we asked for veggies instead of the side of pasta they usually bring.) Two glasses of wine, two soup appetizers and two (poor) fish dishes came to $170 with tip. Go to Bamboo or La Yola instead--they are better.

The meal was wonderful. We sat outside. It was so peaceful. Service was outstanding. I especially enjoyed that the waiters did not hover over you but if you needed something they were right there. Nothing worse than being asked how is the food before you have even had a bite. Caesar salad was prepared tableside. My steak was cooked exactly like I wanted. Even though the price may seem high it was worth every penny. The timing of the food were perfection also. We finished our salads before the main course arrived so we never felt rushed. Enjoyable night with good friends. We will be back.

Would caution that service charge is included. As with most dominican restaurants, the service charge is included in the final price. When we asked the waiter, he said ir was not which is a lie that we confirmed back at the hotel.
