   If you're looking for somewhere cozy to have a drink or dinner as well, Lord Lygon was perfect. Intimate bar and restaurant that had great atmosphere and personal service. We went there two nights in a row. Happy to recommend.

   Fantastic relaxed atmosphere that pairs perfectly with an outstanding cocktail and wine menu. Regular patrons were also there enjoying the drinks and cheese menu, which made us feel confident in our choice to spend our evening at Lord Lygon.

   If you want authentic Italian food especially pasta, this is the best place in Melbourne area. They have very good wine selections from different parts of the world too. The staff are amazing very friendly and accommodating. I like the ambiance and the crowd that goes there. If you want a more relaxing quiet night, go on a weekday.

   Lovely couple of glasses of wine recommended by the server and a Charcuterie plate for a pre dinner relax. The bolognese pasta and gnocchi were delicious for dinner. Very knowledgeable and engaging staff. Really knew their wine and introduced us to some new Australian wines. Perfect way to spend our first night in Melbourne recovering from jet lag. The bottle of Australian sparkling rose they recommended as a host gift was delicious.

   Slow service. The guy’s a total stuck up. Wasn’t accommodating to any reasonable requests. We ordered a or of foods for two families celebrating New Year’s Eve. We had 4 adults and 4 kids, very excited to try the foods after seeing decent reviews. And it’s our first time in Melbourne. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. Asked for olives and cheese didn’t even get them until we finish our dinner and had to take them to go. Such a waste. During the two hours of dining not even once was offered water refills. Disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend.

   An absolutely amazing experience tonight, food was absolutely delicious, wine and beers perfect and the staff were friendly and extremely attentive. I had the Pork cotoletta, the Pork didn't even need a knife to be cut. My partner had the Gnocchi and said it was equally delicious. We will definitely be back. A very memorable experience on Christmas eve.

    My second time dining at Lord Lygon and it was just as impressive as the first! A warm greeting from staff who made us feel welcome immediately. A nice glass of bubbles to sip while we perused the menu. ‘An Italian Affair’ was our selected set menu with 3 courses of authentic Italian cuisine. The antipasto platter was amazing as was the homemade pasta with clams which followed. A coffee tiramisu for dessert was the perfect finish to a lovely dinner. It’s a small intimate venue which is perfect for sipping a wine from the huge selection on offer while dining on fine Italian food.
