Best Spanish restaurant in California!! Wonderful patio.
Great food, excellent service! We will definitely recommend Loquita to friends and family!
So pretty and everything we had was delicious.
Thank you for a wonderful dinner! Everything was delicious. We haven’t visited Santa Barbara in years, and were excited to try something new.
Great food. Many unique dishes.
Nice vibe in the restaurant.
Staff very attentive and helpful.
Can't wait to return!
Great dinner with friends. Everything was very enjoyable from tapas to their paella. Highly recommend.
Octopus, skirt steak, cauliflower and paella....every dish was delicious!
Went there with a small group. Treated well every step of the way - great drinks, unique menu, attentive service
Simply spectacular. This is elevated Spanish cuisine at its best. I can’t wait to return.
It’s absolutely my favorite restaurant. We all love it. The food is amazing, the drinks, the patio - just a wonderful experience.
Food is good. Service was attentive. Pleasant meal.
One of the best meals I’ve had. Great service and culinary!
Very good tapas
The food is always good. Patio is lovely. We love the unique cocktails. I do have to say, everytime we eat here we comment on how pricey it is. But, it's worth it.
Excellent from the food to the ambiance to the staff!
Wonderful food as always but some great new additions to the menu.
We LOVED everything about our dinner here! They were delightful from the moment we walked in. Even leaving a handwritten birthday note. The food was amazing and we can't wait to go back.
Nice new spot. Drinks are great. Service was spot on. Food was very good
Inventive, well prepared food in a very convivial setting--particularly the outdoor garden area. Standouts were the duck croquettes, octopus, cauliflower, jamon iberico, carpaccio, and the Porchetta. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. All in all a really enjoyable meal.
Fabulous. Loved sharing food with friends, Service was outstanding. Every employee steps back and smiles when a customer passes
I took my Spanish-food-loving guests from out of town to Loquita for dinner. Although the patio is lovely, the service excellent, and the food very good, I will never return to Loquita. Unbeknownst to us, the proffered pitcher of Sangria, which is at best a moderate size, is $55. We brought the unbelievably high cost to the attention of the waitress after receiving our bill. She reported our displeasure to the manager, and he did nothing to appease us. The episode with the Sangria has totally and permanently soured me on Loquita.
Last night I had one of the most interesting dinners I have had in a long time. . . .if ever! My friend and I both loved every aspect of the evening, from the service, to the food, to the drinks and wine, to the dessert. It was a memorable foodie evening. Thank you. See you soon.
Very inventive tapas!
The tapas menu is always one of the most interesting in Santa Barbara, ranging from the expected (Tortilla Espanola and Patatas Brava), to the more exotic "small bites". The Paella seems a bit less interesting/flavorful that we've found elsewhere.
The food is excellent and the ambiance is great. We were there on a busy Saturday night and there were some timing issues with getting a table despite having a restaurant and quite a bit of time between courses. The amazing food made made the wait worth it and overall it was a great experience.
A win, again! Loquita has a BEAUTIFUL space, delicious food, expertly mixed drinks, and a lively vibe. We have never had a bad dish here, and dream about some such as the patatas bravas and creme brulee. Well done, team! Can't wait to come back.
Excellent dining experience. Loquita is among the best in Santa Barbara.
We went to Chef's week here, party of 4, for dinner before going to the Lobero. It was amazing! Since there were 4 selections for each of the three part meal we just ordered it all. I'm a vegan and still enjoyed it! Can't wait to go back and order off the menu. Would love to go to Poquita too which is attached to the restaurant and is a tapas bar. Love the decor too. Really fun.
I've been here twice and found the experience to be delightful in all ways. Creative tapas, a pleasant patio and an excellent white wine, all served by efficient and knowledgeable wait staff!
Always inventive, delicious, professional service, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails. Go now. Don't wait.
Highly recommend the octopus
Paid a visit to Loquita in late Feb 2018. Tried the Santa Barbara Restaurant week menu and was not disappointed. I made a reservation through open table and mentioned that it was my Wife and I 1st year wedding anniversary and they did something very special for us. Food was delicious, the atmosphere was romantic, the wait staff was attentive and knowledable. The tequila drinks were a tab bit strong. Everything else was damn near perfect. Thumbs up and I recommend. We will be back.
Enjoyed dinner at Loquita, nice space and good selections on tapas for all types.
As always, Loquita was terrific; food was delicious and interesting, service was excellent and ambiance on the patio is very pleasing...a favorite of mine, to be sure...
Really good cocktails, great food and great service. Will definitely be back!
Evidently Loquita does not participate in The Opentable Rewards program, despite the fact that Opentable provided me with a $50 rewards certificate specifically for our reservation at Loquita. So, either Opentable is fraudulently misrepresenting or Loquita is not honoring the agreement.
The general manager of Loquita reached out to me the next day about this issue. Both Loquita and Opentable are taking steps to resolve it. As I told the manager, our dining experience was great up until the bill came. Since resolution is underway, I have changed my review to a more positive. I appreciate their effort to make things right.
The food is amazing - location great - patio fun and the drinks and dessert wonderful!
Lively atmosphere, creative tapas
We are from out of town and first experienced Loquita in our honey moon a year ago. We came back for our one year anniversary and were just as blown away as the first time. We were greeted with champagne to celebrate our special evening and our server was very attentive. Ever course was perfectly prepared and not at all what you would find at every other restaurant. Carrots whole roasted and served with a beet hummus. The most amazing cured meats and cheese’s served with unique accompaniments like raisins still on the vine, artisan crackers and quince paste. The paella is the star of the show. If anything I would say they could dial back the salt. Nonetheless, divine! We will be back again. Our favorite place in Santa Barbara hands down!
Great food!! Do not sit outside on a cold night. Not enough heat accommodations
