Stag was very pleasant, kind and helpful. The environment is dressy, not formal and very comfortable and welcoming. The food was very delicious and can't wait to go back. Not a cheap dinner but great value for the delicious food helpful staff and fun 🤩

First time, party of 12, and everyone happy, when does that ever happen. Lamb, filet mignon, pasta Lombardi, let’s just say all the food was exquisite as were the cocktails, wine and appetizers my fav being the calamari, and yes the service was excellent too, thank you Riley! We will all be going back, loved it.

Every time we come to L’Opera it is always a wonderful experience. Best italian in Long Beach hands down! Took my dad here for his birthday and he said it’s the best Italian he has ever had. Service is awesome, they treat you like family. We love L’Opera!

We went to this restaurant early for a couple of reasons: 1) To take advantage of the special happy hour prices in the bar before our birthday celebration meal and 2) because it is much quieter when it is emptier. Our wait staff was superb, efficient and willing to make suggestions without being intrusive. The food was cooked just right and was delicious. I loved the chocolate dipped strawberries and whipped cream they gave me with a candle for my birthday. That was a lovely touch. And I'm grateful for the valet parking.

Overpriced and noisy. 15 min wait to be seated despite reservation, waiter was harried and kept appologizing for everything taking so long. Terrible place for business dinner - so loud that you couldn't have a normal conversation. Food was good but nothing special and inability to tweak anything suggests that it is not made fresh but purchased from the same people that supply TGI Fridays, etc.

Miguel was an amazing waiter and the Owner, Terry Antonelli even sent over a courtesy appetizer! The food is beyond delicious and with L'Opera's recent renovation, the atmosphere is wonderful!

Fantastic restaurant! I've dined there twice in the last two months prior to shows at LB Terrace. The food is amazing and matched by the awesome service (shout out to Scott!). Tip: If you're dining prior to a show, book your reservation as early as possible; they fill up quickly. The servers are also aware of showtimes and will keep an eye on the clock for you.

Four of us went to L’Opera yesterday at 5:30 pm. We had a wonderful time - from the valet for the car to the young woman who seated us to the waitress and man who cleared the plates. All were courteous and had positive attitudes. And they went the extra mile to make the evening festive. I will return every time I want to celebrate in a place with polish and professionalism.

I always enjoy eating at L'Opera. The service is delightful. The bar is lively, and the dining room moderates the noise level well. It's nice being right on the edge of the nightlife district here in Downtown Long Beach, but it's not swallowed up by it. And the food is delectable :-)

We absolutely loved this place. The food was simply fantastic and unique. The ambience was awesome and the place was full of energy. To top it off there was an “opera” like singer singing Italian classic. Awesome!!!

One of the dishes was excellent, the other, pasta was slightly hard, the pasta was undercooked. I think the worst thing was the attitude of the waiter. when asked about the quality of a dish, his answer was 'we did not open for 40 years to have garbage in our menu'. There is a difference between being proud of the place where you work and being rude or snobbish.

It was my 60th birthday. I was attending the APS Physiology Summit. I was joined by two long time friends. Food was amazing. Our server was so kind. I was serenaded by the in house tenor for my bday. It was a very memorable experience.

Our meals were wonderful as always. My dinner, Veal Piccata was EXCEPTIONAL. It’s always good but this night better than ever. Unfortunately we only get here once a year when in town for the Grand Prix, but never miss making a reservation.
