The spicy chicken biscuit was amazing. A huge thank you to the waitress who was very attentive and exceed all our expectations.
cannot recommend this spot enough!! found it on the instagram of one of my favorite bloggers and the pics looked so tempting i had to go!! it was SUCH a perk that reservations were available as well, as a lot of brooklyn brunch spots don’t do them. the ambiance and decor of this place couldn’t be cuter too. i genuinely had the best french toast of my life, and i wanted to be best friends with our waitress and hostess bc they were so sweet and nice. the prices were exactly what i expected for brunch in ny and totally worth it to me. plus free coffee and tea refills! was only in bklyn for the weekend but will definitely be heading back to this spot next time :~)
Absolutely amazing food and impeccable service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a fun atmosphere.
Food Expensive and nothing great and very slow service
Great cocktails, I recommend eating exclusively off the munchies menu and get the bread.
If you don't get anything else, get the chicken and waffles! Check out their insta page :)
My new favorite restaurant. Get the salmon bowl and the long beans if they are on the menu. So good, great friendly service.
Biscuit & gravy!! Lovely bright space.
My daughter and I had a wonderful time. The best is that you can take your time, you feel welcomed (which is unsual for NY) and the food is delicate ! (The only tiny thing that the entrees were not super warm otherwise 5 stars ) !
Some of the food was pretty good, but for the most part it was underwhelming. Probably better off a cocktail and snack when the weather is nice and you can take advantage of their outdoor space.
I didnt' like it. Zero Gluten Free options in their brunch/breakfast menu.....in williamsburg?!?! Hellooooo
Much better places around here for the same price a nice decor.
Great food, nice ambiance, fantastic drinks. The attached bar is a nice addition for post-dinner drinks of desired.
Loosie’s is a very cute place. I was very excited to come here after following it on social media. The food was good and decently priced. The drinks were delicious. A bit on the expensive side, but that’s Brooklyn. My biggest disappointment was the seating. I made a reservation over a month in advance. Now, I understand that this isn’t a large venue, but our group was seated next to the door in a relatively dark space. I would have wished they would put the reservations in the bright colorful space. All-in-all, I would go back and would recommend. Maybe just leave a not on the reservation next time.
Loved it! We did a selcection of munchies, no mains. Food was good, not great. But loved the experience - will go back again for sure
Not much more to say. Loosies is fantastic, its been on my radar for years. Have been a few times and it never disappoints, nor has the menu been the same. Constantly updating without losing its charm.
Our first time in Williamsburg. Loosie's is an eclectic menu, but delicious and reasonable. not busy the day we visited
I made a reservation for brunch to celebrate my friend getting married. I was there with 4 other ladies. We waited almost an hour and a half for our food and only 4 of us got our meals and the 5th got hers after we had already finished ours. Our server never explained or apologized for the long wait and on top of it all our food wasn’t that good. I ordered the fish sandwich which was the size of a nugget. The server did take off 2 dishes off the bill, but we still left hungry and disappointed. I spoke to the Manager who was apologetic and took down my email, so we’ll see how this gets resolved. For now, the five of us will not be coming back.
Loosie's has a super chill vibe. You feel like you are eating in a greenhouse or a library depending on where you sit. The food is amazing, but the portions aren't huge. I would recommend ordering a few "mains" then a bunch of sides do share at the table.
Comfortable atmosphere. We loved the decor in the front room with lovely sunshine and colorful mural. My husband had a tasty cheeseburger and the quinoa bowl was delicious!
I absolutely LOVED this place! Great atmosphere, great food, and cool people. The ideal place for Sunday brunch.
Waiting time of ~30min even though we booked beforehand
Loved the decor. Chicken and waffles were a delight. I really enjoyed my birhday brunch. Cool staff, beautiful & artsy vibe make great Instagram photos. I will definitely have to return and dine at the cafe area as well. My friends were impressed with my choice. Overall it was a great afternoon. I felt like I was on an island... thanks Loosie’s
A Must Try On Your List
Loved every bit of it ❤️
The place is cute, which is the only good thing about the place. The service was horrible. The staff didn’t have a friendly share. A burger took an hour to come.
Terrible service. Got our order wrong, food wasn’t even hot, and the wait for food ridiculously long. There weren’t even that many other tables. Never coming back again
When you walk in, you immediately are in a bar. Live jazz was a nice touch.
However, nobody was there to greet me which seemed a little odd. I went up to the bartender to tell him I was there for dinner.
A server popped out and lead us through some backdoors to the restaurant. Think: Reverse SpeakEasy. Having no host added to the allure. So not necessarily a bad thing for me.
There were only about 12-15 items on the menu. So ordering was easy. Classic Louisiana style fare isn't something I get everyday and each plate that came to the table was so fun to eat.
My tastebuds lit up like Mardi Gras. Love the shared plates. We had one thing from each section of the menu, wine, and a bottle of sparkling water. The bill was around $85. That's just so awesome.
Server was great. Never got his name but he had a southern draw. Great guy. He gets 5 stars for sure!
We'll be back.
I didn’t want to give this place all 5 stars because that seems suspicious, but Loosie’s was honestly THAT amazing. Easy going vibe, beautiful setting, 1000% delicious food and cocktails. (I’m going to be dreaming about those chicken and waffles for the rest of my life, I think.) I was in Brooklyn to visit my sister (I’m from Chicago), and even though I just got back home from my trip, I’m already thinking about the next time I can travel back to New York to eat at this place again. Keep up the good work! And please consider expanding to Chicago!
Really enjoyed this restaurant. I made a mistake on the time of my reservation but the staff were really nice about it and managed to fix it for us. Food extremely tasty and delicious.
Went here for a mother’s brunch. It was amazing! It is a smaller place so the menu is small, but I always look beforehand anyway. Everything we had was great. Their guacamole with fried plantains was incredible!!
Sweet service and great place for cute pictures
I love Loosie's! It is so cute and cosy, feel very comfortable. The food we had were all delicious and stuff are very friendly, they make good cocktails too. We had famous fried chicken, grilled fish, russell sprout, avocado & salmon with chips, they were all really amazing. The bar next door is fun and good music too, it is small hip place to go.
This is one of my neighborhood favorites. Never disappoints and perfect for any occasion. Highly recommend for locals or out of towners!
Loosie's Food was good, specifically the Charred Broccolini, the cauliflower and the Branzino. Service was mediocre. Our reservation wasn't in their system and after showing them our confirmed open table reservation were were told that we were in luck because their last 2-top for the night was open. Even though this didn't feel very welcoming or hospitable, we continued with our night. There were some ants on the floor and brick wall near our table which was unpleasant. Overall, the food was good but the staff there could be better at service and hospitality. We will not be rushing back.
Very delictable food, I enjoyed myself with the company I brought. Our waitress though was offstandish and didn't communicate well with my party. However, I would go back for the food and the whole ambiance of the restaurant.
Great food. Good service. Fun ambiance.
Great food, friendly staff, and BEAUTIFUL SPACE. Loved it! I was also really appreciative of the non-judgmental attitude from the staff when we were taking photos. It was also my friend's birthday and they made it extra special by bringing out dessert with a candle. Thank you!
While I really love the ambience, the service was really poor. The hostess accidentally spilt water on the table (and on me), no apology. You have to flag waitstaff down to order anything including a coffee. Waiter didn't know what an irish coffee was, and when brought the coffee, let us know that they didn't have Bailey's (maybe it was his first day?)
Separately, the food is not cheap, but portion size and taste was also not up to par considering other spots you'll find in the neighborhood. Maybe it was just my order. I wish I could give it more stars, but it'd be helpful if waitstaff was trained on being a bit more attentive. We honestly could have left without paying, because waitstaff was never paying attention.
Running out of 2 of your 4 main courses is embarrassing. Not to mention only having dark meat for fried chicken...Only option was Branzino.
