We were seated for over an hour and still didn’t get our main entree. Our Server kept forgetting items that we asked for. Waited over thirty minutes just to get drinks. I was given a glass of champagne while I still waited for my mimosa. I took a sip from it then finally my beverage arrived. Why did the server come and take back the glass of champagne he brought to me and poured it out? Ended up leaving before our food even started to get made. The reason for such slow service was that the kitchen was backed up yet there were literally only six tables that were occupied including ours in the entire restaurant. Parties that arrived after us, received their entrees. Not impressed by the service at all. I only had a biscuit, it was decent. Perhaps when you go the service will be better.

The NY Strip was very tough and chewy. The quality of meat used was simply not good. The service and atmosphere was great, but the food was sub par. I was disappointed in food overall.

Our food was delicious! Our server, Jay, was excellent!! Food prep time in kitchen was extremely slow especially considering that the restaurant was not at all crowded at our reservation time of 5:30

Very quiet dining experience in a beautiful historical area of Macon. Plenty of street parking, with a nice grassy park to walk after dinner. There were pictures on the wall from the old textile mill that was there back in the day… it would have been nicer if it wasn’t so modern, though. We were seated promptly and given water. The waitress was polite and genuinely friendly, but was overloaded with the four dining tables. We ordered the grouper with citrus sauce; fresh and bright, but did not like the old breakfast potatoes it was served with. The other entree was 1/2 roasted chicken cooked beautifully. The sides Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes… not so good. The bartender needs to be replaced. Slow watered down cocktails were disappointing. We enjoyed the food, but the service was unacceptable. We would not return again if in Macon area.

However, the restaurant made a commendable substitution for the sold-out Chef's choice Filet with a delectable hanger steak, showcasing their flexibility and commitment to customer satisfaction. Food was good. Service was subpar. Waited a while before receiving menus and water. Was told there wasn’t a kids menu, then while ordering, a hostess appeared with a kids menu. We never got our appetizer, but our food was good. Second visit here and service is still lacking. But a beautiful restaurant!
