Birthday while skiing
Great food on the mountain for a ski day.
Wonderful upscale on mountain dining. Great menu and wine list. Very happy we used Open Table and had a reservation. It was about a 2 hour wait fir people walking in when we were waiting for our table.
Our favorite on the mountain--delicious macaroni and cheese and beautiful views!
It took almost 2 hours to receive the food, they were out of one of the items ordered, one of the dishes was cold, and we were seated inside after requesting to be outdoors on the reservation.
Food was wonderful and the service top notch. Spencer was attentive and we were never without drinks.
The fondue and the bison ragu hit the spot. The lack of good wifi created problems with bringing up my Open Table voucher but the manager comped the value of the voucher even though I could not bring up the bar code. Needless to say the service was great!
Out waiter Brady and the manager Dave are great. The food and service is very good
This place is a true jem and should not be missed if you are skiing in Park City. We go back every time we are on the mountain. It's the perfect place for a lovely lunch on the mountain and a nice change of pace from the busy lodges.
My favorite on-mountain dining probably anywhere. As its so good it gets crowded, but worth it. Hope to be back next year.
Excellent!! Beautiful views, delicious food, very competent wait-staff, a perfect rest & replenishment stop during a day of skiing
Lookout Cabin is WAY overpriced...but so is the entire mountain. So do you want to pay $25 for a burger at Cloud Dine, where you can't find a seat and you carry it on a tray? Or do you want to pay $27 for a burger and have someone bring it to you in comfort? Since we discovered Lookout Cabin, we always book a month or two ahead for at least two lunches during our ski week. It is the only place on the hill with table service and the food is amazing. If you like burgers, don't bother with anything else -- it's the most insanely delicious burger you will ever eat. It's more than I can manage--there is a $5 split plate charge but our server offered to bring an extra plate at no cost instead. The blood orange margarita is something I look forward to year after year, and they also have a great selection of wine and beer.
Had a great meal but not fast, so plan for time to eat!!
This is our favorite place to eat lunch when we ski Canyons!
Best on mountain dining at Park City Mountain Resort.
Had a lovely birthday celebration for our 15 year old son. Thanks for making him feel special!
Great as always!!
Better today than two days ago. Food was much better and service also. Must have had an off day before.
Food was great.. good beer and wine.. will go again
Enjoyed our lunch here with a group of 9 on a great ski day. Brady was great as our server, very attentive, knowledgeable, & a great attitude.
Food and service are always exceptional. We were a little late for our reservation but they ultimately accommodated. Make sure you build on extra time to navigate all the runs and lifts to get there.
Our lunch was delicious.. only problem was, no one told us we had to ski down a blue or black to get down the mountain! Needless to say, that was my first and last day on the slopes as I hurt my knee bad and ended up in crutches!
Food is certainly not as good as it used to be. Fondue cheese was runny. Mac n cheese was unseasoned. Burger was salty. Very uneven service also. Views and location are unbeatable though.
Overpriced food and mediocre tasting food. Would not dine here again.
Great food, great food and outstanding service. Lookout Cabin is a must do if you are skiing Park City.
Great location and food, patio is amazing if weather allows
We are regulars at Lookout Cabin...never disappoints!
It was just too busy and we got a wrong order. So not brilliant I must say!
Great staff !!!! Very helpful food is delicious full bar great bloody Mary’s our Christmas tradition to have lunch at the lookout cabin
Beautiful views. Excellent food. Great for a mid day break in skiing. Would highly recommend. The salmon spinach salad was perfect.
Can’t beat the view and surprise!!! The food is good too. This is a “must” for anyone skiing the Canyons.
Delicious food, incredible view, and great service! Our group of four has a wonderful time at Lookout Cabin. The views are amazing. We always sit on the deck to take in the view and enjoy the sun. The short ribs, fondue, and truffle macaroni were all delicious. The service was great. We look forward to dining here again next winter.
Great food after a morning of skiing. Was excellent
Great food and service. Amazing view. Took great care of us!
We love this restaurant and eat here for lunch every year on our annual visit to the Canyons. Food is always good and you can beat the amazing views!
What a pleasant find mid-mountain at the Canyons. They were very accommodating when it came to mixing up the menu. I asked them to add shrimp to the mac and cheese and they did not bat an eye. It was over the top.
Good view on the mountain at the Canyons, and really good hot chocolate, too. Service is good, too. This was our second visit this trip. First time, we were told we could sit at the bar since we did not have a table reservation. The restaurant had still not filled up an hour later when we were done with lunch. The Thai chicken salad was good, though. On the second visit, we had a reservation and a great view. The Thai Curry daily soup special was delicious, as were the mussels, but the shrimp and grit were not. The large shrimp were over cooked and tough, while the grits were undercooked and gritty. Go for the view, but the food is overpriced.
Our favorite on mountain dining anywhere.
Food great. Service that particular day was terrible.
Lookout is our absolute favorite place to eat while out on the mountain. The food is consistently delicious, the staff is gracious and kind, and the ambiance can’t be beat. The chef often creates different specials that we like to take advantage of because they are always tasty, but there isn’t a bad choice on the menu. I recommend hitting it up for a late lunch to avoid the crowds and end the day on a high note.
