We have created a new South East Asian fusion food concept with colourful and aromatic dishes to create the perfect harmony between four essential elements: Hot, Sour, Salty and Sweet. Every plate achieves that elusive, cuisine-defining balance of hot, sweet, salty, and sour. We carefully source the best ingredients, organic where possible, to use them in all of our sauce and paste and this makes us uniquely different. This is also where the secret to the remarkable taste of our food lies, however sourcing the ingredients alone is not the key. We take the extra care of mixing and developing these recipes from scratch to perfection in order to deliver you with genuine and good food.

The restaurant in New Road, Brighton is great. However, Open Table booked us a table at the restaurant in 111 St James street Brighton, which is closed for refurbishment. You'll need to contact the restaurant direct for a booking or through Favourite Table, which is app the restaurant told me they are using now.

Food was delicious, decor was lovely, service was great too. Prices were amazing too! Highly recommend the chicken satay starter too

Fantastic new venue ! Wonderful Vegan food. Especially loved the tofu satay starter and the range of curries. Will be back for sure.

Place was warm and welcoming as were the staff. Food was incredible! A must go if in town. Owner was super friendly and we were more than accommodated for.

My friend and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Longrain. The flavours were incredible, food served at the perfect pace and our host and chef could not have been more friendly or accommodating. I can’t wait to go back again!

A really great little restaurant. Excellent and authentic food. Friendly and attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed Longrain.
