Longhi's Ko Olina
We stayed at a different resort and wanted to try a different place. It’s a beautiful setting and the service and food were spot on!
Our waitress was very pleasant and the view lovely. The food was better than expected . The price point was half of the cost of the hotel we’re actually staying at- thankfully !
Very nice meal. Everyone liked their food, but my dish was a bit bland for my taste but excellent service and attention to detail made up for that.
We had 6:30 Fri reservations and we’re seated quickly. The service was very good. Had the Chicken Parmesan; chicken was cooked nicely but the sauce seemed “dry” or too thick. Maybe the piccata would have been better. The Longhi’s filet was sliced and cooked nicely.
According to the waitress, the turkey came from Oregon, and it was advertised as fresh organic. It smelled and tasted like turkey, and it was so moist and tender. The price was right and they gave more food than I could eat, so there is the "traditional" Thanksgiving left overs. I haven't eaten turkey like that for a long time, and I hope to make it a Thanksgiving tradition. The grounds are so lovely, and we could have lounged on the main chairs or at the beach for however long we wanted. Terrific resort!
So far the worst meal we have had this trip. Service was very poor and food extremely overpriced for what was received when I compare it to the other alternatives in the area. We saw our server once at the onset of our drink and food order. From there our food was brought out by another person and our waitress did not return until ten minutes later to ask if everything was okay. She had recommended a certain entree which was not prepared as described. We also ordered a veal porterhouse which was flavorful and cooked to the correct temperature however the cut was poor, full of fat and extremely tough to cut. I realize the veal cut is smaller but I think I was able to get 3 ounces out of it. Not a $55 steak. In all, this meal did not live up to price and service was beyond displeasing.
Rib steak must have been cut from a cow I didn’t recognize
Anniversary dinner very nice
Never a dull moment, never bad customer service, and never bad food. I love coming to this place, one of my favorite restaurants!
The ambience was perfect! Our server was awesome!!
Service was excellent, light dinner, Maine lobster salad was very good switched out the dressing because not a fan of feta cheese . Calamari was cooked perfectly . Husband had chicken breast with marsala sauce . He enjoyed it but said he liked my salad better, . Would dine there again and recommend
Our server was very nice and attentive. We were given a table near the koi pond as I requested and the restaurant is in a very nice location. The food was not so great. My wife had the surf and turf and her lobster was very dry. My steak ( ribeye) was cooked as I requested but was not very good. The concierge recommended Roy's and in hindsight we should have trusted her.
The food was delicious. Good service. A bit over price but overall good
Good restaurant; however, a little pricey for me. The service was pretty good.
They told us we “ could purchase a sundae ‘ if we wanted to celebrate my wife’s bday. We said no thanks! Tacky!
Aloha TonyB, I apologize that it was your understanding that you could purchase a sundae for your wife's birthday. It might have been miscommunicated that you had to purchase a birthday sundae, since we have always offered free complimentary sundaes for all of our guests celebrating a birthday for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We hope to see you again at Longhi's!
Love happy hour. The best
I am in love with the sashimi grade ahi salad. Thin slice of approx 4x6" ahi over a bed of greens, bruschetta, tomatoes, capers and a light vinaigrette. Wow! Burgers are huge, the pasta us very good. The setting is next to s koi pond with beautiful ocean breezes. Coming back for sure.
Always a great meal!
So disappointing. First time in my life I have ever sent food back to the kitchen. First time "seared" ahi was cooked thoroughly through and dry. Second time it was raw. There didn't seem to be any recognition that if you get a second chance, that one should be perfect. Seared ahi is not hard, but the choice to use 1/2 inch fillets made it almost impossible to do right. To be fair, the management was apologetic and did not charge for the meal, but it was a disappointing evening. We will not return.
Fantastic meal. We had a party of seven and every meal was delicious and well prepared. It will most likely be one of our favorite meals on the island.
Really good Date night with the Wife! Look forward to coming here again.
Hair in salad waiter was not helpful to any changes to the menu items.
Waiter did not ask if we wanted a starter salad or a larger just brought what he thought.
Jonathan was a great server. Food came out hot!
Great service at the bar. Love those ladies.
Got reservation at 6:30p on a Tuesday and sat at a table that allowed us to view the Luau, sunset and bay. Nice surprise entertainment and beautiful views. Highly recommend the Eggplant Parmesan.
always good food and good service. We enjoyed our meal - the lobster was great!
Quality of food & level of service were great !!!
First dinner after landing on the island for a family vacation. This was the experience that you imagine when you expect to enjoy great food, great service, and amazing views! If you are looming for an amazing sunset dinner but don’t want to hassle with Waikiki, this is it!
The seared ahi au poivre was done perfectly. The recommendation of Pinot noir wine pairing was spot on. The broccolini sauteed in garlic was delicious. The open air ambience with the sunset in the background and the cultural dancers performing was timed perfectly when we arrived at the hotel. Our server, Bianca, was exceptionally professional and pleasant! She knew the menu well.
Two years in a row, my boyfriend and I went to Longhi's for his birthday celebration. We love their location, they always accommodate our request, amazing and engaging staff from the hostess to our server (Beth). We always have their Lobster Longhi served in our preferred sauce, crab cakes, and manila clams. I love their Mai Tai mix ringed with crushed mac nuts, brown sugar & salt. Their Lava Cake is perfect for a birthday candle. We love our romantic settings and Longhi is a favorite. Recommended!
Sunset was beautiful
Excellent. Great vibe. Food was very enjoyable. The service was very good. We felt overall it was a very good value for the price. The peach Sangria was excellent!
Excellent Dinner Highly recommend fresh fish served Island Style
Service was excellent for the 11 of us. Very accommodating. Good menu. Nice setting.
The seared ahi we had was perfect when paired with rose win. A baked potato crusted crabcakes were delicious. Service was just right: attentive and smooth. The ambiance well complemented this fine restaurant. Worth the pricing.
Service always great and love to go over for breakfast. Less ensnared with lunch menu. Normally peaceful but on Sep15, 2019 there was a steady bass beat coming from pool area. But all in all will go back for breakfast again.
My daughters sweet 16th birthday. Our waiter made it awesome with a ice cream singing her happy birthday
It was a slower night over in Kapolei, breezy and balmy, and my wife's birthday. I will admit earlier in the year we had probably our best meal out of the year at this place, and we were looking forward to being wowed again. I always appreciate the composition of the plates, the quality of the ingredients, and the cross training of the staff in that everyone can provide great service no matter their role. The food was great, as usual, we had our son with us and they accommodated us with juice in a childproof cup and milk at the end of the meal, thanks parent friendly staff! There were two things in the service that made the night less-than-perfect. First, in fine dining you expect your waiter to fire the entrees to try and time them just as the appetizers wrap to clear and then serve the next course. The entrees came out very shortly after the apps, making for a very tight and crowded table, as well as breaking up the feel of courses and giving the impression we were being rushed. Second, our last time to Longhi's the waiter mentioned that the molten cake took about 30 minutes to prepare, and when he brought the entrees he asked if we might be interested in it to get it going. This time, we were not asked until the dessert menu was offered, and ended up waiting an extra 25 minutes to get that cake out. Other than that, I truly believe that we will close out 2019 with Longhi's taking the prize for our best meal out this year. Mahalo staff and management!
