Longhi's Ko Olina
Beautiful place to have dinner and watch the sunset. When we arrived, the hostess walked up and didn’t say anything. She only looked at us. Since she didn’t greet us, we had to state that we had a reservation. We were seated away from the sunset view even though tables were open. When we asked about sitting in an area to watch the sunset, we were told those tables were already requested. During our 2 hours there, those tables remained open.
The food was delicious and our waitress was attentive without hovering. We enjoyed the potato crab cakes and they were perfect. The salmon was done wonderfully as were the prawns Venice. They also offered a decent wine list.
At the table my girlfriend and I were sat at, there was a beautiful view of the koi fish, sunset, and the luau performance. It was quite loud but I could still hear my girlfriend in a normal talking voice, other than that the ambience of the restaurant was quite breathtaking. Not to mention, the food was amazing!! I ordered the stuffed salmon with crab bisque and a side of rice, my girlfriend could not stop picking off my plate, I don’t blame her, it was DELICIOUS!! The bisque, rice and stuffed salmon in one bite was to-die-for, it’s a little pricy for two of us but totally worth it.
Not only was the food great but so was the service our waitress had no problem talking to us and she was very helpful, she described the menu to us along with the deserts. At one point when our food was brought out, our waitress arranged the table to make it look more photogenic and offered to take our pic, which we were already planning to do, she basically read our minds. Anyways, my girlfriend and I really appreciated that.
This restaurant is definitely a GO-TO next time I plan on going on a date, the food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice romantic dinner date, it may be a little pricy but worth the while.
Delicious food beautiful ambiance and our hostess and server were phenomenal. A little over priced, however, I had the veal porterhouse and worth every penny.
Anniversary dinner was fantastic. Great venue and fantastic experience from salad through the main entree and dessert (macadamia nut pie). Service was 5 star and matched the food.
It’s been a couple of years since I last dined at Longhi’s but it was the same as I remembered - ok food and service but pretty much overpriced. The setting sells this place and tonight was no exception- a beautiful sunset (but really windy).
This place is fabulous! The food is amazing and definitely worth the price. The salmon stuffed with crab and Sicilian cauliflower are a must. The service was outstanding! We will absolutely go back when we visit our son again.
With the steak coating $90 for a Valentine’s set dinner, it needed more seasoning. There was Alonso a confusion with our seating, we initially put a reservation in for 6, but I called to ask if they could accommodate 9 and they said yes. When we got there for our 7:30 pm reservation, we were told from the hostess that they were working on a bigger table so they could sit out 9 party, so we waited for an extra 30 minutes. When they finally sat us, we noticed that the place setting was only for 6. So we told them what was told to us by the hostess, so the waitress came back and told us that if we needed the 9 person table that we would have to wait again. By then we were hungry, especially my pregnant sister-in-law. So we decided to just stay where we were.
Mostly outdoor seating but covered. Be sure the weather is good for you outdoors. Excellent food and service. Valentine's Day is a special menu. They have vegan/vegetarian options upon request.
Wonderful Valentines Day dinner. Our food was absolutely delicious and our server was very attentive thanks for a lovely evening""
We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on Valentine’s Day. The service was attentive and the breakfast menu was quite reasonable. Lovely property and appreciated the Ko Olina resident local discount. I would recommend Longhi’s.
I always liked Longhi’s
Great coffee, enjoyed watching Henri, the bird by the pond and we had excellent service
Food was fabulous, service was super! Ambiance was quite exceptional - very near beach with beautiful vistas and a partial view of Luau show ! What more can I say??
Great place to eat and the pasta and chocolate molten cake were awesome!
A wonderful way to end a very long vacation service was above and beyond exceptional Jonathan our server amazing customer service he was awesome. Veal & Lamb chops tasted amazing everything about our meal.was great, leaving the islands with a great Aloha feeling.
We have dined here many times. Service and food are terrific. This time, despite reservations, we were seated at a table right by the entrance, unable to view ocean/sunset. Also, for the first time, I noticed that it has become very expensive (and I usually don’t notice the prices/cost). Be prepared to pay over $40 for most entree’s.
Delicious meal - attentive server - outstanding beach view.
The service was impeccable except for the receiving the wrong bill. Had a great 20 year port.
Found was delicious. There was a Luau going on that night so it was noisy, but we did have music.
NIce environment even though there was a lot of noise since it was Superbowl Sunday. The tent blocked our view to the beach. (Not a superbowl Sunday fan.)
The service was superb but prices were overrated.
the service is awesome, the food is very good. a little pricey but I have no problem paying for good food and service which they have. One recommendation would be maybe have towelettes for customers that have lobster or crab dinner so they can clean up after.
Great seafood slection and reasonable wine prices.
The value of the food was the biggest problem. Very expensive compared yo some other upscale options.
Our server was exceptional.
Beautiful sunset, delicious food and a very attentive waitstaff all made for a most enjoyable meal.
A wonderful meal in a beautiful setting. Service was exceptional and food was delicious. Only negative takeaway was the MaiTais were good but more fruity and not much alcohol the description & price of these suggests that they would have a kick after 2nd I decided not worth the price.
A bit pricey but you’re paying for atmosphere too. All our entrees were delicious.
Enjoyed a pleasant laidback lunch on another beautiful Hawaiian day. Kudos to our waitstaff who’s easy going but attentive service added to the vibe.
Great service, food very good. Fresh catch of the day, Hawaiian red snapper was perfectly prepared, Longhi style, highly recommend, nice experience
Too high priced for a plate of greens with two shrimp and two scallops for $30.00 Plus tip plus $3.00 for garlic toast spears, plus parking plus tip for valle .
This one my family's favorite restaurants. It has a relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful service. My favorite dish is the Lobster salad. Delish!
This was our second dinner here in a week. Another delicious meal with great ambience!
Service was bad, waitress was surely, food was very expensive, you pay high end prices for ala cartel dishes that were at best average. I paid far less for dinner and got a great deal more. I’m going to suggest to the Marriott that they remove this concessionaire from the resort..it doesn’t meet the Marriott standard.
The only reason I did not give it a 5 star overall is because for some reason, our entrees took a very long time to arrive. We noticed that folks around us were also not getting food, so we assume it was a kitchen problem. We didn’t question our waitress because we were enjoying the view and being outside and time was not an issue, but there was something amiss during our time there. I would definitely give it a try again.
Always love their menu choices. I'd wish they would serve prime rib and rename the "prime ribEYE" on their menu, its so misleading.
There was hair on our butter which was quickly whisked away by the server and then hair on one plate with an omelet. Fairly disgusting and ruined the meal. Server was apologetic and manager comped my breakfast. But still, there’s a problem in the kitchen.
We went to Longhi's for our last dinner in Ko Olina. There were 6 of us and we were seated right away in a very comfortable U shaped booth. The waitress was very nice and accomodating to our picky eaters in the group. We all ordered something different, so got a good taste of different dishes, from Filet Mignon, veal scallopini, salmon, eggplant parmesan and chicken parmesan. Everyone enjoyed their meals. All dishes are ala carte, so we also ordered salads (Caprese and greek) along with vegetables (Cauliflower and spinach). The Caprese was better than the greek salad, which was a little ordinary. The portions are fairly small but filling. You definitely can share the side dishes. The cauliflower was amazing and probably the best of the dishes. The spinach never arrived, but we were all so full anyway it didn't matter. The service was good throughout the meal. We pre-ordered 2 chocolate lava cakes as they take 30 minutes to prepare. Definitely recommend that! Topped with a huge scoop of vanilla gelato and a perfect conclusion to the meal. Although a bit pricey, this is Hawaii. I would go back again.
The service is amazing there.
Honeymoon dinner - absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend the filet mignon carpaccio, chicken piccata, steak, and lobster!
Consistent and yummy - service friendly and informative. The non-alcoholic boutique drinks need a little work...check Bangkok for some examples :) not everybody drinks liquor.
Went here for dinner while staying at Aulani resort nearby. The ambiance was wonderful and the open air dining was lovely. The steaks and vegetables were delicious. Wasn't crazy about the chicken parmigiana but there were so many other menu options that one so-so dish would not deter me from returning.
We had a lovely leisurely lunch at Longhi's Ko'olina on 1/4/19.
Tess loved the Crab Salad with avocado and bacon atop mixed greens which had been lightly tossed with a citrus vinaigrette. I really enjoyed the delicious Reuben Sandwich on grilled house-made marbled rye bread. Took one half of the huge sandwich home to enjoy later. I sipped hot tea lemon and honey to ward off my cold.
Efficient and friendly Servers. The quiet, beautiful and tranquil setting always perks us up. We love this place and highly recommend Longhi's Ko'olina for B, L, or D.
