   I've been wanting to visit Long Chim for a long time and it did not disappoint! We had the banquet and everything was awesome. And thank you for warning us about the larb. That heat knocked out socks off!

   Food is outstanding but there can be a delay in waitstaff getting around to you. Once order placed service is quick to bring food.

   We had the $95 banquet with wine tasting. The difference between that and the $68 banquet was the duck and ice-cream. There was very little duck so I felt the price difference of $27 was unwarranted. The wines were okay. There was only just enough food, some of us were still a little hungry.

   We were insulted by repeated reminders that our "slot" was only an hour and a half, but apart from that it was excellent.

   the food was great and so was the service however there seemed to be a constant pressure to eat and vacate the table - the staff tried taking our started plates twice before we had finished we booked a 7.30 table in advance, i dont think 1.5 hours is long enough especially when ordering the set banquet.

   I must admit I'm a long time fan but my first couple of visits in Perth were disappointing. I'm not sure whether it was my over expectation of the kitchen just finding it's feet. They have certainly found all feet. the menu is outstanding and at a very reasonable price. This is not suburban Thai, its as close as you can get with the ingredients available locally to an in Thailand experience.

    We loved the food but found it quite pricey, especially the papaya salad $24 for a small handful😐
