   We loved our entire experience tonight. We celebrated a birthday and anniversary. Our waiter Cameron was very informative, fun and engaging. The chef Jason Scott came to the table to meet us and sign his page in the new City View magazine. The manager was also super friendly. Food was fabulous, especially the elk sliders. We will definitely come back! Thank you for a fabulous evening.

   Celebrated Mother’s Day with my husband and grown son. First time visit when we walked in we were immediately seated at our table. Went to back room music was so loud I couldn’t think it was too loud in the restaurant but they soon turned it down. Waiter was very friendly Stefan but took for ever for him to come back and take our order so my husband got up went to hostess and asked for someone to take our order. The appetizer of rattlesnake gravy with biscuits was lukewarm to say the least. The wedge salad was slit of lettuce with okay dressing I don’t just love blue cheese dressing. Salmon was cooked perfectly a little salty but my son loved his. My husband prime rib he said wasn’t that great his dessert the Hummingbird cake was delicious. My chocolate dessert was good but so rich it was hard to eat. We agreed to try you out one more time for dinner but not a brunch.

   Destiny was our sever last night and she was fabulous 🤌🏼🤌🏼 The food was great too! But I have to say that her demeanor made it all a 10/10!

    Definitely pricey but worth it. We enjoyed the multiple courses and the exotic meats. They allow you to mix and match portions of the appetizers to try different things. Food was outstanding and our server was very friendly and professional.

    Absolutely loved the food! Our server, Joshua, was spendid. He was very informative about the menu and everything on it. He was very helpful and we never grew impatient at any point. Highly recommend getting all three courses! Thank you Lonesome dove! will be attending again. -Ross Johnson

    This is a very eclectic menu. The food was excellent and the service was great! Our party ordered multiple items and shared so everyone got a taste. The hush puppies were awesome as well as the rabbit and rattlesnake sausage, actually everything was tremendous. The chef came and visited with us. Great restaurant! We will definitely be back when in Knoxville.

    We went here for our Anniversary and it was excellent. A little pricey but we had a gift card and it was a special occasion. Stefan was our waiter and he was fabulous. Very knowledgeable about the menu and drink suggestions!

    The branzino was not particularly flavorful. The skin was kept on, and it was not crispy and was not pleasant to eat. The branzino was also overcooked and a bit tough.

    First time there for us and we were celebrating a Birthday. Loved our server he was excellent! The food was delicious and we tried everything from the crab cakes first course, wedge salads second course to the stuffed beef and vegetarian entrees! Also ordered two sides - cauliflower and carrots which both were above average and plenty to share! Of course we had dessert- and coffee! Only downside would be location is a bit “shady” for us and the price a tad high. But that is just an opinion.

    Visiting from out of town and the LD was recommended. Food was excellent and service was great. We thought the noise level was loud in back room by the kitchen, but the food was worth it. We liked the,hush puppies, Bibb lettuce, branzino and steaks. One suggestion would be to feature local beers but overall we would definitely recommend

    Food is very tasty! I had the lobster hush puppies, Bibb lettuce salad and filet mignon. All very good. My husband had an 18 ounce buffalo ribeye and burnt carrots. He also had a ‘1888’ cocktail which he loved his as well. It is expensive, but worth it especially for a special occasion. Another plus is that the service is exceptional. Three staff members waiting on us. Just enough time between courses, friendly, didn’t have to ask for anything. I would definitely recommend the Lonesome Dove Knoxville.

    We loved our experience at Lonesome Dove! It was my fiancé’s 25th birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special. The elk sliders, garlic stuffed tenderloin, and ancho chili chocolate cake were especially delicious. 10/10!

    The waiter took way too much time explaining the menu. While I appreciate some insight and direction a dissertation is not necessary. The food and drinks were good until our main course came with sides that were horrible literally the worst I’ve had ever… the Mac and cheese was served cold not even warm then taken from our table and clearly put in the microwave and heated to not even like warm I had to spit it out. The carrots they think are so great um…. Over sweetened nursing home taste yuck! They were room temperature not sure if they were suppose to be hot warm or what but the taste of cafeteria glazed carrots comes to mind.

    Sat at the bar and loved the service. Described the menu and suggested items based on our preferences. Started with fettine and it was only ok. Bland. Starters: elk sliders 5 stars. Lobster hush puppies lacked flavor and were mushy. Hamachi tostada was 3 stars. I like hot food and raw Serrano was too hot. Chili is phenomenal. We decided to get hand cut filet, 12 oz each. Cooked perfectly rare. Sides: carrots and mushrooms were fantastic. Great experience and worth the money.

    Unremarkable. Doesn't approach what a $$$$ steakhouse standard is. Trouble mixing a consistent cocktail. Wait staff is thin and distracted. Food flavor not so interesting.

    The food was really good; however, the wine prices are unreasonable, as an example Lapostolle Borobo 2010 goes for approx $89 a bottle online but in the restaurant they charge $440. I would recommend for the food but stay away from the wines.

    Asked about a bourbon list and the waitress said they did not have one but she knew what they had. She suggested a bourbon for myself and my friend. We didn’t ask the price, admittedly, but the price wasn’t offered either. $100 per pour. Not pleased.
