   We recently visited Lonestar Texas Grill and sat on the outdoor patio. While the atmosphere was nice, the patio chairs were quite hard to manoeuvre and awkward to get in and out of—this might especially be the case for shorter guests. The tall tables felt cramped when all the seats were occupied, and we actually had to get out of our chairs to let others sit in theirs, which was inconvenient. On the positive side, the food and drinks were good, though definitely on the pricier side. Overall, it’s not a place I’d visit regularly, but it might suit those looking for a one-time Tex-Mex experience with decent food.

   Our server was great however it was quite the wait from time we ordered to food was brought out. We take into consideration that it was a Saturday evening. The food menu has changed but the sizes of the portions has as well.

   I had enchiladas which were tasty enough. But much of the rice was crunchy from reheating, I assume. Rice and beans were bland.

   Nevada is literally the best server I’ve ever had! She went above and beyond! Knew we needed things before we even knew it, we would be thinking we needed something and she would just show up with it! Our glasses were never empty and even though she was busy she stayed on top of everything! Can’t say enough good things about her as a server! Super friendly and sweet!

   When we arrived, our reservation had been indicated that it was closed. When we had arrived on time for a reservation of 9ppl. They put us in the back where it was VERY LOUD couldn’t really hear people at the table and beside the washroom. The restaurant ran out of the beef, half our table was going to order this. Then they ordered the chicken in a ancho sauce, but was informed after it arrived that the kitchen ran out of ancho sauce, but didn’t inform the person ordering. All our bills were incorrect many times. They offered us desert for the table which turned out to be churros. We were there celebrating two birthdays and it was a bit of a flop considering our tables spent between $400-500.
