    We had the pleasure of being served by Diamond during an incredibly busy night at the restaurant, and she absolutely lived up to her name. Despite the packed house and hectic pace, Diamond remained calm, professional, and incredibly attentive. She managed to balance efficiency with genuine warmth, making sure every detail of our meal was perfect. Her knowledge of the menu, friendly demeanor, and constant smile made us feel like we were her top priority—even though she was clearly juggling many tables. It’s rare to find someone who can handle pressure so gracefully. Diamond turned what could have been a stressful experience into a truly enjoyable evening. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Diamond again. She’s a true gem!

    We had a great lunch! The nacho chips were warm, fresh and crunchy. Loved the chicken wings…great selection of sauces. Excellent service! We will be back!

    overall a great experience. Food is very good as are the skinny margaritas.. my only criticism was that fajitas for two seem to be not quite double fajitas for one.  but they were delicious. our server Hammer was great.

    When I reserved on Open Table, I clicked on "Special Occasion", (it was our 40th wedding anniversary). We received no acknowledgement from the restaurant. When we sat down, our server asked, "are you celebrating anything". We replied that it was our 40th wedding anniversary. He congratulated us, took our order and then we did not see him again. Another server brought our food. We were well finished before he finally came back, apologized for not checking on us and said he would get the bill. Again, we lost him for 10-15 minutes. On such a special occasion, I was hoping for a little more specialized service.

    I'd booked a table for 11 for my dad's and brother's birthday lunch. When we got there, they'd put us for 8. My brother said he'd asked our server while I was in the bathroom. So I thought I'd ask again. Our server seemed annoyed I asked again. She replied the bench side can seat 6 ppl. So I replied but the other side can only fit 4 chairs, so that fits only 10. To which she replied "then you bring that chair over" and walked away. Then I heard her tray slam down in the kitchen. I'm an easy going guy. The place was empty. If we had done what she wanted, we would have been very uncomfortable eating in a confined space. So I asked another worker if we can move and bring some tables together. She says yes and we helped her move stuff. Yo my surprise, another waitress came by and said she's taking over. This turned out to be a blessing as she was very nice and patient. She saved the day for us. She the food was good as usual. But I don't think if we'd go back there again after that experience. That's too bad. We've been going there for years.

    Service was excellent—friendly staff made us feel welcome right away. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

    We took our Mom out for Mothers Day. There were 8 of us total. The food was quite good! Everybody was happy with that so kudos to the chef and kitchen staff! The main thing that impacted my stat rating was the service. When we got there it wasn’t busy as at all, when we finally left it was a bit busier. However, our server seemed pretty overwhelmed. I’m not sure if they were short of staff, but it took 30+ minutes until we could order drinks. Some of which didn’t ever come. After we ordered food at the 45 minute mark, things seemed to pick up. We got our food, but then our server never came back to check on us or see if we needed anything. After we had finished eating, it took another half an hour to even get the servers attention to get the bill. More time passed, finally we got it and paid. Like I said, I think maybe our server was overwhelmed. But the whole experience took nearly 2 and a half hours. Even for my family (slow eaters) that’s pretty lengthy. At least the food was good! This isn’t the first time we have chose Lone Star, and I’m sure we will come back. Hopefully the service will be better.
