We chose to go to Lone Star Texas Grill for my friend's birthday. We had a reservation booked far in advance and upon arrival we were seated promptly. We then waited for 25 minutes for anyone to appear before we decided to notify a staff member that we had been waiting without service. We were sure it was busy, but we expected to at least be notified of this a few minutes in and have our waters/a drink order taken to hold us over. We also didn't receive the complimentary nachos/salsa until after the drink order was in, at least 35-40 mins after being seated. This helped hold us over, but we were quite put off at the time it took for this little bit of service and how it was fairly rudely delivered by the server. Found their talk a bit short and was surprised she argued the order we placed (didn't write it down and told us we said a different order). 40 mins or so in, the manager did come to notify us of the wait time and offer us complimentary drinks or dessert. At this point we did not want another round of drinks or dessert, just our dinner order. Felt a bit obligated to order more just to get it for free. Was able to have our original drinks compensated, so this helped. When the food did arrive, probably another 20 minutes later (waiting at least an hour now) it was fresh and delicious, so we were happy with this. The service from here was fine, although we were disappointed there was no complimentary birthday dessert, especially as we had waited so long without communication. Walked away 2 hours later feeling disappointed overall. We do understand with Covid the service will be slower and not 100% with new staff, shortages and the new Covid rules. Just expected more (quicker) communication, a bit more friendliness and the compensation to be a bit better/less limited. Would suggest that there are not as many bookings made for a time slot/range of time if it is going to be too busy for the staff available.
Fajitas - chicken and steak (some fatty pieces) were delicious, beers were cold and patio was peaceful.
I had food there just few days back and food was great but last night I could not touch the food and I just left my food on the table after having a few bites. It seemd a very old food.
The staff were super friendly, and the food/ margaritas were delicious!

Love love love the fajitas - and nothing like a giant margarita to go with it. First restaurant I have been to in 2021 and it was delicious. Lots of space for social distancing.
We had a fun night on the patio. We had later reservations and ended up being the last table of the night. The service was incredible. The bartender even visited our table to help us decide on a fun after dinner dessert drink! I have only been to the Lone Star in Ottawa, this was my first time here but I would totally come back. Service was awesome. Food was yummy. Quieter atmosphere then when dining indoors I believe, but great for chatting with old friends.
Usual experience at ANY Lonestar has been excellent. This visit was far from. Not busy at all and service was slow. Had to ask twice for waters for the table. Food was just okay, not the usual excellent you'd expect. Steak was undercooked. Fajita wrappers were very doughy tasting. Fish tacos were the only redeeming meal out of 4. Asking dinners to use a QR code to view the menu online is not very handy if you don't have a phone. We asked for a dessert menu hard copy, and after well over 5 minutes of waiting for one, we decided not to order.
Family was visiting from out west and we had to eat so we chose the Lone Star. We arrived right at opening and were seated after another group. Drink order was taken right away and after ordering food is when the real wait began... Other than that delay our visit was good and we had no complaints.
It was good. The only thing is that I believe they reduced the fajita meal a bit. Like don’t get me wrong it was great food but the portions definitely felt smaller. I’ll still be back.
Great food and atmosphere. Service was great. Everything was fresh and so delicious. First time out since things opened and everyone followed safety protocols and made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed
The service was good, the food was ok. We had to ask for silverware 3 times after our food arrived but other than that it was an ok experience. If I go back it will probably just be for the margaritas.
Food was awesome and our server was great was on top of things and made sure we had what we wanted or needed!

We love Lone Star Texas Grill Cambridge. Everyone there is amazing, super friendly, staff is great, food is always amazing. We honestly can't say anything bad about this place!! We highly recommend everyone to go there! Best food and staff.

we were received very well as soon as we got there covid signed in brought to our table waitress took our orders she was very lovely great character got our orders right, food and drinks were awesome didn't seem to be rushed to leave I really liked our experience thanks to all the staff for the wonderful experience cheers!
We enjoy going to our local Lonestar as their outdoor area (outdoor dining only allowed right now because of Covid) is mostly covered with a roof. We did have a downpour while we were there but we were fine. Great food and service!

Had not been to lonestar in a bit. We used to go almost every single week so decided to give it a bit of a break... honestly so glad we went back... their fajitas... ohhhhh my gosh!!!!! 1000% recommended

Waited almost an hour for our table despite having a reservation. Hostess gave our table to a party who arrived after us and tried to tell us they arrived before us despite completely forgetting we checked in and already did our covid registration. Unacceptable service

We waited 7 minutes to be sat. We had a reservation. No one else was in the lobby. It just literally took that long for the hostess to come to the host station
We were led out to the patio. Someone was sitting at our reserved table. The hostess asked them to move. Fine. But the table WAS NOT SANITZED before we were told to sit. I know they weren’t eating, just sitting at the table. BUT…..ummmm, pandemic…
Sat in the corner of the patio. My view was a bunch of dusty stacked chairs shoved in the same corner.
Our food was excellent… LoneStar standards! But our server was inattentive. Had to ask three times for extra chips. Main course was delivered by a runner…. But we didn’t have plates. Had to wait, flag down a different server to get plates for our fajitas.
When our desserts arrived, I ordered a coffee. Guess what? Coffee machine is broken! Oh yeah. It’s been broken for months apparently.
Love LoneStar. Food was amazing as always - margaritas too! But the service and ambiance at this location were terrible! Won’t go back to this location. We’ll stick with Milton.

Unfortunately I understand that they have just re-opened, and our waitress was great BUT we had our 4 yr old grand daughter with us and Our dinner took one hour and 25 minutes. Our granddaughters chicken fingers and fries was ice cold when it came out drinks weren’t being filled up because they were busy and our tortilla shells were brought out 20 minutes before our actual fajitas. I get that they just reopened but it’s not like I pay less because they just re-opened but my quality of food was way less

Great night out ,food was fresh and great as usual ,great place to go for consistent great food ,and those fresh tortia chips . After a great meal I would suggest the apple sizzler

The server was polite but slow. I understand that the kitchen is getting back into the swing of things especially after being closed for so long. However, the drink orders and refills were slow and I think that the service could be improved.
