   Our server was great. The new leaner menu is good but the items are overpriced for the portions received. The 8 turos we ordered were over fried and hard in the middle. Between 3 people we ate 6 and couldn't stomach the last 2 due to toughness. The manager came around and asked us how our meal was. We reported that the Turo's seemed to be over fried as they were tough throughout and we couldn't finish the last two. The manager replied the Turo's were not his favorite and to try the apple sizzler next time which he recommended then walked away. The server also asked us about our meal which we again commented on the Turo's. She replied that she would speak to the manager which we replied to by informing her the manager had already asked us about our meal and we had brought up the Turo's which he had simply walked away from. She spoke to the manager whom decided to take 25% off the price of the Turo's. 25% off the price of the Turo's equals the cost of the 2 Turo's we could not stomach. Lone Star should be more diligent in the hiring of their manager's and train them in respect to dealing with customer service. If food is not eaten due to it being unpalatable, I expect an apology from the manager and the cost of the item removed from the bill not the manager stating the items is not one of his favorites on the menu and recommending another item for our next visit, then walking off, later crediting the cost of the 2 items not eaten after the waitress had to speak to him about the situation. This manger apparently forgot that he represents Lone Star and is acting or our behalf. Our server should be managing the restaurant as she's an excellent server and knows how to relate with customers. The manager we dealt with hasn't a clue about customer service or relations. We dine at Lone Star at least once a month, travelling from Aylmer to Ancaster, Cambridge, Milton or Oakville to dine, since the closing of the London operation. Last 3 dining experiences a disaster. Call me

   Usually enjoy… worst visit EVER! One small bowl of complimentary chips and salsa for 5 guests. When asked for additional was charged. Taco salad had no lettuce … what a joke! Sent it back got no compensation nor apology!

   Lone Star was very busy, accommodating several large parties, but our server Phoenix made sure we received excellent service. The food was delicious, well-portioned and reasonably priced. Will return!

    Steak Fajitas for 2 and gator bites, more than enough for me and 2 tween sons. Service was fantastic. Steak was tender and delicious. Toppings for fajitas were meh, but everything else was very good. Pricey night out, but everything is expensive, and I have lunch for tomorrow.
