   Left unattended for quite a long time as we were seated at the back however we’ve been trying to reach out for the waiter had eye contact no one came to take our order, knowing if customers seat at the back shouldnt they check on them more oftenly due to being on a blind spot? Moreover waiter is not friendly at all, waiter is very pushy! Brought a bill to our table keep asking us if we’re ready to pay while we’re still checking the bill, asked for tax invoice she throw bank receipt (NOT INVOICE) to the table and walk away? Please evaluate your service, as a customer who loves to go out and try new restaurant definitely I will not recommend your restaurant if you dont improve Many thanks

   It took us 21 mins after we were seated for anyone to actually ask if if we wanted a drink or to give us a menu. I had to get up to ask the manager so we could actually be served. Appalling for a high end hotel.. take your dinner dollars elsewhere

   we adored our experience at Lollo, we had some difficultly finding the premisise, the service was outstanding, freindly, quick, they were always there to look after you, with a bnig smile on their faces. the food was devine, fresh, flavoursome, loved it. The atmophere was really friendly and fun. their was a dj playing music, however this added to the ambience, it felt very on trend and fresh and fun, the cocktails were the best ive ever had (and ive had alot) the choc mocha one was just fabulous, and we had a bubble cocktail, this added fun to our experience. I honeslty could not reccomend lollo more highly. I also noted how spotless lollo was, the kitchen is open and the staff were communicating very effectively with each other and they were wiping everything down as they worked. very impressive. Soni

    Food seriously underwhelming for the price and disappointing. Service 5 star! We had the most amazing service from our server. She was experienced, so smooth, and when she realised I’d accidentally ordered a mocktail sour without knowing it contained egg she whisked it away for a replacement at no charge. The leaf salad and “French Fries” were ridiculously priced for what they were - something you could do better at home. The duck curry was average.

    Mother's Day special Menu Food was excellent and very (too?) well served. That made us disappointed not being able to get take-away boxes for the duck left-overs. Music background was a bit loud and not always matching the mood for a Mother's Day special. Staff was attentive and kind.

    The Barramundi was outstanding. The chicken Cottoletti was good; better than a standard schnitzel,s as Lisa Verdi good. The starters were a bit disappointing: steak tartare - tasteless, no hint of capers, onion, overmixed . The tataki tuna was too salty and lacked any citrus flavour. The place was buzzy but service was a bit inattentive.

    I had already stipulated when I booked the Long Lunch that I required the gluten free option. When we arrived, no one was aware that I required the gluten free menu and I felt that the Chef had to make it up on the spot. We did not have a designated waiter or waitress, so I had to tell five different waiter staff that I required gluten free and all of them said that they would check with the kitchen. The first dish which came to the table was Turkish bread with a dip. I asked the waitress if it was gluten free, knowing that it definitely was not and she said she would have to check with the Chef. Gluten free toast, cut in triangles proceeded to be served. We then had steak tartare with more bread. My bread does not require the gluten free menu, so was consequently served the standard menu. We both agreed that there was too much bread for the entree courses. The main dishes were nice and had a lot of flavour. We really enjoyed the barramundi and octopus. The included alcohol was ok, however, the cocktails and orange spritz’s were too sweet. It seemed as though the free drinks were alcohol which the restaurant/hotel were trying to get rid of. The white and red wines were drinkable. When desserts were served, I was provided with the same three small desserts as my friend. I couldn’t eat those, so they were sent back and a Bomba Alaska was made instead. I could not eat the base, which I left, but the rest was edible. At the end, we were provided with our bill and were charged the long lunch fee x 2, which we had already prepaid. I told the waiter that we paid in advance and he said that he needed to check with his Manager. He came back a few minutes later and said that we did not owe anything. I am unsure whether a lot of new staff were working on Saturday, however, the majority seemed clueless and very disorganised. The best dishes were the main courses, however, we could order similar at other restaurants, who offer better customer service and care.

    Really enjoyed dining at Lollo. We were there for Friday lunch and it was very quiet which made the dining a more pleasant experience. The food was sensational especially the duck curry. $85 for the ribeye was a bit eye-watering but my sister said the quality of the steak and its presentation were excellent. Would definitely go back.

    We had a lovely experience with great service and amazing food. It was truly a long lunch and we were never rushed and enjoyed each and every course immensely. Its been a very long time since we have enjoyed an afternoon so much.

    Visited for lunch. The food and service were great! The seating can feel a little crowded at lunch time or if it’s busy. We ordered a few dishes but probably over ordered slightly as some of the mains are easily shareable by 2-3 people.

    Booked the long Saturday lunch. Had to pay in advance which was fine. Bread was lovely, steak tartare though was an acquired taste, would have preferred the ceviche. The cone bay barramundi with the complex leek sauce was the outstanding dish. The chicken schnitzel, although corn fed, was a glorified Schnitz, sorry, had to be said. A bit out of place. Would have preferred a small size of the famous duck lasagne. The desserts were good, but perhaps the dark chocolate was too much, a lighter tangier one would be better. Nice experience though, will consider returning if the menu combination changes.

    Lovely food, excellent service - we had a very large noisy table near us but i suspect it is usually lovely ambiance. only criticism was that it was a little dark - although the thoughtful waiter brought over a lamp which made things much better

    Average food & service. Our table was dirty when we were seated. Our booth looked at a plain grass cloth wall and it had no table decorations at all. Just a huge sparse table. Not very inviting! The food wasn’t really bad but it wasn’t really good either. Our waiter was nice enough but was pressuring us a little to order a nite cap or dessert when we didn’t want to order any more. Overall, definitely not a 5 star dining experience & not on par with the prices. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place to friends with so many other great restaurant options in Melbourne.

    We went here for our anniversary dinner because we were staying at the W hotel. Unfortunately, as we appreciate staff shortages are present at the moment our service wasn't great. We had to wait ages for menus to be brought out, drinks to be replenished and food to come out. The food was also disappointing - the octopus was tough and the signature duck curry a let down. We wanted this to be a special experience but just may have caught them on a bad night.
