This is my favorite restaurant sort of like the place where everyone knows my name love the healthy choices and the high quality of the menu. I can eat anything from a salmon tartare with truffle oil to high quality meat cheeseburger, great pastas with fresh seafood, and wonderful sauces, all sorts of high-end meat and wonderful man chego cheese croquet. The service is wonderful and everybody is awfully friendly. One of the owners is a high-end interior designer, and the place has a personality that conjugates, elegance and relaxation. I highly recommend this place.

Went back to L'Olivo after not visiting for a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised to find that it is as good as ever. Nice, Mediterranean-inspired dishes, very good service and excellent value.

The food was mid (e.g., lacked flavor and creativity) for what you're paying. Most dishes do not taste like they used to (been going here for years), like maybe they're not getting the same supply of ingredients or something. For instance, we (a table of 4) ordered the truffle fries as a last resort side dish because we'd already tried a few lackluster dishes and where still hungry. The "fries" were just chips (like Lays) with some parmesan on top, no truffle flavor. The waitress did mention they had not used the truffle oil they normally do and that she could place a replacement order but we didn't want another order of chips... We moved on and ordered two desserts, the pecan pie and bread pudding. The bread pudding was basically a muffin (same cake texture and look) so calling it bread pudding seemed like a stretch. The pecan pie was okay. The wine recommendation was excellent though, and the charcuterie boards were great as well. The table we were seated at was very nice and we appreciated the service. I'd still recommend it, just wish the food was better and more consistent sinxe it's not exactly a cheap restaurant.

We absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. The staff were energetic and kind, the atmosphere was perfect, and the food was AMAZING! We were a little nervous walking in because our Spanish is not that great, but we were definitely going to try. To our surprise, everyone who assisted us also spoke English, and gave us a menu in English. I had the Catalan stew and it was delicious. My hubby had the cod which was also amazing. We also had the manchego (a type of cheese) croquettes, and for desserts chocolates cake with manchego cheese ice cream. The drinks were also amazing. Infused with a hint of basil or other herbs. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent restaurant with a good variety of plates. Also, the wine list is very good. We have for appetizer the beef carpaccio and the Manchego croquettes both were delicious. For main plate we have the cod and was also very good. Recommended.

L'Oliva is consistently good. the menu has a nice selection, and the food is always prepared properly. The wait staff is pleasant and helpful. I have had many business dinners and lunch there. It is consistent and never disappoints

I booked through open table for 3 people, shortly after received a call that they didn’t have space for me. I tried to work it out over the phone and they said they would accommodate us since I had to leave by 7:45. The place was half occupied the entire duration of our meal and they put us in a horrible table next to a brightly lit office in the corner. The “house specialty” short ribs lacked flavor, even basic salt and the mashed potatoes were very dense and chunky. The service was great hence the break on my rating. On a side note, I didn’t appreciate seeing boars head brand in their deli fridge so I didn’t order the meat and cheese board.

Great service, ambiance and food alternatives. The restaurant is a nice surprise. Very knowledgeable waiters. Good wine alternatives at reasonable prices. The menu has good appetizers. The main dish portion very was large. The dessert ordered (key lime pie) was so-so and needs improvement. I have recommended to friends and will return!

We were celebrating our anniversary that evening Unfortunately the waiter was not familiar with the menu He had to leave and come back every time to answer our questions regarding the menu Also he would hover waiting for us to make a decision We felt pressured and ended up having to leave with just the appetizers ordered It is a shame as I had been there before and had enjoyed it But it has definitely declined in service and in selection of food
