Great place, love it , but the service is poor. Latin food place but the personal hardly know how to pronounce correctly the mexican food and or treat latin american costumers....
Great ambiance and decor. The service was on point.
Amazing food and ambiance! A little pricey because the menu is tapas-style, but every bite was delicious! Will return soon.
Great place to grab a bit while in Boston on business - food was delicious and the tapas / shared style made it an enjoyable evening for all. The cotton candy at the end was a treat!
Finished the Boston Marathon and met my daughter for a great meal. It’s one of our favorite spots.
Not much food for the price.. the steak tacos were delicious but 2 small tacos for $12?! The carnitas was also $16 and didn’t even come with tortillas. The fresco guacamole was delicious.
Awesome everything. Best margs in town!
Best Mojitos ever! We drive 3 hours to come for them. Menu is always changing and always fantastic. Miss the shrimp tacos, though! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Great! Loved it
If you are not from the united states make sure you bring your passport. This is the only location that even with 2 pieces of photo ID they would not serve me. After waiting a while for an already reserved table I had to leave. It was embarassing and would have been good to know this locations policies before entering. Was a very disappointing trip for a 33 year old.
Great food, ambiance, good service and loved the ambiance/vibe. The music was great...
I definitely will go back! The layout is amazing, loved the gothic feel of it. I went there to celebrate a birthday and he enjoyed himself. Food was good, nice music, loved the cotton candy!
The best food in Boston! I will be back again and again.
Lolita has the right atmosphere for a special occasion. It's trendy and dimly lit, but not in a gaudy way. The black and red decor is fun, and the red chandeliers are really beautiful. The tequila and pink grapefruit palate cleanser sorbet with liquid nitrogen was fun and delicious! The server brings it to you when they greet you so have your phone ready for a good picture of the liquid nitrogen smoke. The drinks we ordered (I had the strawberry frolita) were potent but sweet and pretty (red sugar on the rim). The Lolita blanco tequila is really smooth. The chips and salsa (they give you 3 types) was really yummy. The steak tacos and pork tacos were full of flavor and the tortillas were perfectly crispy. We also ordered the carne asada small plate but it was underdone. Our server had the kitchen remake it, and it was much better the second time, although I don't think I would order it again. Our server was very attentive, and she helped me navigate the menu to choose something dairy free. The cotton candy that came with the check tasted like green apple and was addicting. Lolita is pricey, but I think you are getting a quality experience and delicious food. I would definitely return to Lolita to try more appetizers, have drinks with friends and celebrate!
Thank goodness for OpenTable reservations! You better book your rez 2-4 weeks in advance for this place. We did and while they were getting our table ready, they were quoting a 2 hour wait for walk-ins. Mind you, everyone waited. This place is a favorite and you should experience it to find out why ;)
Knowledgeable and friendly service. Very welcoming! Food was delicious. Will definitely becoming back!
Lolita was a great evening out and i would recommend anyone giving it a try.
Great restaurant and food. Only thing I did not like was having to wait to be seated until the full party had arrived.
Lolita has a great vibe and really good margaritas. It's always packed and it's always LOUD. We couldn't hear our waitress over the music, which was an issue. The food is good, but servings are very small and quite expensive. It's fun to go every once and a while for a special date or event.
We went to Lolita's with friends from out of town and we had a blast!!! The food and drinks were delicious. The place was exactly what we wanted - vibrant and fun!! We went on a Tuesday night and it was packed so do make reservations beforehand or you might have to wait a long time to get seated.
Better for a college group than a family of tourists. Very popular. Good food, Latin- inspired tapas, different from traditional Boston fare. Loud dance music while dining.
This was our second visit to Lolitas. It was as wonderful as the first time we went. We will continue to make Lolita a night out whenever we visit Boston! The taco menu and guacamole are incredible! Other tables were ordering what can only be described as beautiful and delicious looking meals! A wonderful variety of drinks and service on both occasions were top notch! Lolitas is a must! We have a number of amazing Mexican restaurants in Victoria, BC, but this is now our very favourite!
Delicious food, great service and great drinks. Would definitely come back soon
Really cool place. Food is always awesome!! Margaritas are the best!!
First time but certainly not the last. We will definitely visit Lolita’s again next time we’re in Boston.
When I go back to Boston even if we go for a full week, I will eat here every night.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I try and come at least once in a while, because while it's on the expensive side for me, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great.
I have been to Lolita before and it was a great experience. But my second time was not as great. My waitress was very apathetic and I even overheard the table next to me saying they felt like the waitress didn't want to be there--so I guess there's a silver lining that it wasn't just me that she disliked! We went to do the all you can eat tacos for the first time but she never even mentioned them...Good thing a friend had told me and I asked or I would've never known it was going on. Overall, I enjoyed myself but the service was not great.
Amazing birthday dinner at Lolita! I've been dying to try this place and it's sure worth the wait. They really put in the extra effort with the grapefruit tequila palate cleanser to the cotton candy ending! We loved the guacomole, the steak tacos, the street corn, and the sponge cake. I can't wait to get back here to try more. The magarita is one of the best in the city. Can't say enough good things about this spot.
Everything was very good, and our waitress was outstanding
Food was absoluelty amazing. Drinks were fantastic. The complimentary cotton canfy with pop rocks in them were incredibly fun! Also the caramel passionfruit dip for the churros was the most absolutely top of the expierience! At first your mind wants to be pulled to the traditional assosiation with caramel and apples. However it is pulled to a better sweeter yet tangy resolve!
The staff was fantastic
Every time I try something new at Lolita I’m pleasantly surprised! No shortage of delicious options, both food and drink, and the service was great. My favorite restaurant in Boston bar none - and making reservations far in advance is the best way to make sure you get seated quickly (I don’t mind waiting by the bar, but it does get crowded pretty quickly in the bar area).
Just an ok experience super hip scene which was cool, waited 45 minutes for our table also ok, but was treated exceptionally rudely by one employee. Really unacceptable. Some good was excellent, some average fun place to go if you what a totally in science and spend a lot of money drinks were excellent
Always good food and drinks, but I was disappointed in how they pushed us out and don’t let you sit and enjoy drinks. We had finished our food but were still working on our drink and the waitress brought us our bill without asking if we would like another drink. I get needing to get others in but the whole service felt rushed...
This place is fantastic, but be aware that it is nearly impossible to get a seat without a reservation! plan in advance to come here, I promise it's worth it!
The service I received was excellent and plus my server she was extra perfect great place to enjoy good food
My boyfriend and I had a date night dinner here for the all you can eat tacos. Everything was great, we loved our drinks (oaxacan old fashioned and the broken heart) and we also had a shot of the house tequila which was sooooo smooth! It was a great suggestion from our server Christina who brought out our shots with the cutest presentation ever! She was also very attentive and made sure we enjoyed our dinner.
Came on a Sunday night with friends, and had a great time! The portions were a little bit smaller than we had expected, but the food and the drinks were delicious.
I read reviews that the food was delicious and the service was good. Definitely hit both of those check boxes. I don't know that I would bring a party of more than 4 here, especially without a reservation. But if you can make a reservation and go on an off night it is a great spot. I will be going back there for sure.
