Love this place. It was our second time here. We got the New York Steak this time and I highly recommend it. Get the black + blue if you can.
Ur experience was awesome from the beginning to the end. The attention was I impeccable service and delicious food .
Amazing dinner. Service is top notch, so is the food. They even served us free dessert for our anniversary - beautiful flourless chocolate cake. Will definitely be back. (They were also sanitizing every table and seat as soon as people left amid covid-19 panic)
Wish I could give it 10 stars!!! Everything was FABULOUS. We started with Alcachofa (charred artichoke) and Chiles a la Parilla (grilled shishito peppers), then went on to the chicken skewer and NY steak with roasted potatos and chimichurri butter. Words cannot describe. We ended with churros with chocolate and dulce de leche dips. Oh yes, and the drinks...Pisco Punch and Los Diablos. I never go into detail on restaurant reviews, but everything was THAT good. Plus our server was so fun and everyone else we interacted with was gracious and friendly. A memorable dinner for my son's 50th birthday. Thanks so much, Lolinda!
Great food in a great ambience, that was unfortunately overshadowed by the poor service, both at the bar when we were waiting for our table, as well as at our table throughout our meal. At the bar, the barman stopped 5 times (!!!) while mixing our drinks, to attend to his phone, speak to his colleagues, look at his phone again and show something on his phone to other customers sitting at the bar. It felt super disrespectful to be honest, since he was making it clear that he was not caring about us, our drinks, or how long he was taking to prep 2 cocktails. When seated at the table, our waiter had to come back after the first dishes came out to re-confirm our order. Also, she did not appear at all for +15 minutes, so we asked another waiter for water re-fill and two more cocktails. Then, as we were eating our main course and i finished my steak, she asked me if I wanted dessert when my partner was still chewing on his steak. This seems like basic waiter 101 training to not ask for dessert if you are still eating your main course? This is the third time I am at Lolinda, but I am not sure I would return given how the service made me feel.
We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to our visit.
Jeff our server was very nice and kind. Recommend many option for us including the bone marrow which was very good! :)
A great place for catching up with old friends. The dishes are served family style, so everyone can have a little bit of everything. A smallish but decent wine list, and reasonable corkage. The food was spectacular. I don't think I've ever had as flavorful a tartare as theirs, and whatever rub they put on the pork chop, when combined with the smoky grilling made for something out of this world (and more tender and juicy than any piece of pork you've had in a while). Service was attentive and friendly, and the space is very warm and inviting.
Everything was great but the hostess were slow. We arrived and they told me we couldn’t get seated until our full party was there. Once everybody was there it still took him like 15 minutes for them to seat us when they were sitting everybody else.
Great option for late night after theater dining. Service was gracious and food was satisfying. Noise level is a bit high so quiet conversation could be difficult but still doable.
I had reservations for 10 for a bday gathering but 6 people could not make it due to extenuating circumstances. The staff were understanding and accommodating to where everything turned out great! Food was delicious and made with love as usual
My only real complaint is that the beef they serve in corn fed not grass fed. In Argentina, all the beef is pasture raised and grass fed. Lolinda could improve the authenticity of the restaurant if they served grass fed beef.
Everything was perfect. The meat is cooked to perfection. Love this spot for dinner.
Food was amazing. Of course it was noisy but that's what you get at a popular restaurant. Overall awesome and I would recommend the pork chops and civiche. Great spot. Also good wine pairing by my server. I forget his name but thanks!
Food and service were good, however, service staff will sell you on a lot of small items which is good because of the smaller portions (tapas), however, the timing of delivery leaves you feeling rushed and pushed through your dinner. Tables were small and food came out faster than we could eat. The servers kept trying to take unfinished dishes away to make room for other dishes. That made the evening less than what it should have been. Half our food was eaten cold because they tried to get all courses on the table as they were ready from the kitchen. There wasn't time to eat what we had. To remedy this, I would encourage diners to order only a couple items at a time and then order again when you are ready.
Great food and service. One of the best!
Would go back in a heartbeat. Fantastic food, drinks, great vibe and service!
Everything was great other then the noise. It’s was very hard to have a conversation without raising your voice over the people next to you.
Birthday dinner was great!
Lolinda has a great vibe, delicious cocktails, and obviously great steaks. The ambiance is great, however general noise level was quite loud, and tables are very close together.
2nd time at Lolinda excellent service and great food. The Argentine Malbec was outstanding surprisingly good was the pickled eggplant recommended by our server. Steaks were great and the Empanadas appetizer were delicious.
One of my favorite restaurants in the city. I’m Argentine, and their dishes are authentic and delicious.
They thankfully sat us upstairs for a business meeting which I had asked them to do in the reservation comments. Upstairs is far quieter than the main dining room.
Food is awesome, but the environment is quite loud and very dark inside
I took my boyfriend out on a date this place was recommended by a friend so we decided to try it we started out with the artichoke to me was good but my boyfriend thought it was the artichoke heart instead we received a whole artichoke it was good then we had the octopus super good highly recommended we got a chicken skewer super good then we ordered the meal for two which we ended up waiting a very long time after wait for the meal to get there they had forgot the side of mushrooms which they ended take care and we got the chocolate cake is was so good service was good couldn’t ask more since I could see our server was doing the best she could definitely would go back loved the place really good food !!
Bar tender was moody
Great food and services
Came to celebrate a friends birthday and the food was outstanding and the service was great too! We had a really enjoyable meal
Best Argentine food . Great service. The staff friendly food amazing. The octopus was grilled to perfection and the empanadas de carne were amazing.the crust was light and the filling full of flavor. A must when you are in San Francisco
The food was amazing. Fun atmosphere and great service. The noise level made it so that we had to shout and ask each other to repeat what we just said. That was unfortunate because everything else was a 10.
Great service, even better food! Highly recommend
Amazing food with great service!
The food is spectacular and so is the service. Already thinking about the next time I’ll go!
Delicious food and wonderful ambience.
This was our first time bringing the kids, and it was surprisingly kid friendly! We went @530pm and had a phenomenal server. The family style menu was perfect, too.
Birthday! It was great
Great service, followed by great drinks and ambiance! Empanada was out of this world! Ribeye was worth every penny and then some. Unfortunately I made the mistake of getting the dry lamb shank. Bad choice very dry and extremely gamey. Very disappointed!
Really good food here, all items I really enjoyed, very good flavors and dishes.
The jicama salad and broccoli Had a lottt of lemon on them and was very tart and acidic. This was too much for my taste but still good ingredients. Might have preferred that the lemon was on the side but the wind and dishes we had were really great so all around a good time.
Beautiful ambiance, delicious food and great service.
One of my favorite places in San Francisco! A must go if you are in the Mission. Make a reservation and prepare to have your taste buds very satisfied!
I am never too much of a fan of super close communal table seating but it is nice and cute and the atmosphere is chill for a romantic dinner date. The flavors in the food were excellent, though one of the peppers in the Asado mixto caught me off guard and absolutely set my mouth ablaze. The pork belly appetizer was probably the highlight. I would come back and try some other things here.
