Delicious food! Recommend the gaucho steak, empanadas, the lengua and the platanos. I also love all their veggie offerings considering its a steakhouse! The restaurant ambiance was very romantic with the dim lights and high back booths. The restaurant was very loud, which was okay, but wouldn't recommend bringing a group who actually like to talk with each other. My family couldn't hear each other, yet could hear other tables conversations. Service wise, our main server did a great job considering it seemed like they had a very large section to cover! My only critique is that it took about 25 minutes to get our check because our server had so much to do.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing place... amazing good and outstanding service
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Pork belly, Pulpo, ribeye and chocolate cake not to be skipped.
Came for my anniversary, it’s really nice the ambience is great and the food is just fantastic, best I’ve had really. Totally recommend
Awesome as always, this place never ceases to amaze. The octopus, pork belly & bone marrow starters were delicious. The porkchop & ribeye were absolutely fabulous. Though a different and new addition, the lamb shank was also nicely done. Plus, can you really visit here without the alfajores+old grand dad milkshakes? Already looking forward to the next rendition. Can't wait to return and would recommend to anyone.
We always have a good meal with tasty cocktails at Lolinda. Rib Eye Steak, Ceviche , Maduro & Pulpo ! Service was on point which made my Daughters 22nd Birthday celebration perfect. Thank you Javier! Like that the lower dining room now is a little brighter too.
The food and service were excellent. The only complaint I have is the lighting. It is very difficult to see the menu and specially the food. People eat first with their eyes & it was difficult to see the beauty of the food. We were 12 of us and we were all using our I-phone flash light.
Great service and amazing food for my birthday dinner w close friends. Thank you
Fantastic!
I love the energy of this place – our row of booths looked like a "speed dating" setup. The table was split on the food quality and value for money – most liked the strong wooden grill flavors. Personally, I though it was overkill to soak plantains or cauliflower in a glaze/vinaigrette and char them on the outside. Not sure if that was the intent or the appetizers were simply burned. Service was well-timed and very friendly, in tune with the energetic atmosphere.
Definitely was a energetic atmosphere with delicious food. But didn’t bring out the food together which ruined the conversation since everyone eating separately
Great service and food!
Seated us at a small table for our party, but gave us a round of shots to make up for it. Great food. Great ambiance. Would highly recommend it!
I ordered an $80 prime bone-in ribeye and asked for it to be boxed along with my other food. I was given the wrong box without my ribeye. #Disappointed
Nice enviroment, good food many options. Recommended
Great food but very loud.
Great place for dinner. The atmosphere is very nice. If you’re looking for a dinner date spot, you can’t go wrong with Lolinda.
Food is delicious and the service is great!
Celebrated a birthday here. We loved a great atmosphere and liveliness of the place. The food and drinks were good but I was surprised our main dish with wood-fire grilled mixed meats was luke-warm. The meats were tasty but unfortunately the fact that everything was cold left a negative impression.
For dessert everyone should try churros with caramel sauce. They are amazing!
Food, service, wine list and cocktails were all very good
Such a great special occasion restaurant. Everything is exceptional from the food to the service to the decor.
Interesting menu, delicious food, super friendly staff; but the noise level is off the charts.
We had to wait 30 minutes for our table
It was a birthday dinner and everything went wrong. They sat someone else at our table, so waited half an hour to get seated after having to re-check in. Server did not give us any time to look at the menu. My boyfriend’s entree came 15 minutes before mine. We asked for the check before getting done because we wanted to get out of there.
This place gets recommended in publications, at the concierge, in Ubers/Lyfts and on the street. As with many Mission standouts, it's unassuming enough from the street. But once inside, it becomes an Argentinian Oz. Empty tables are rare, the atmosphere is lively and everything on the menu looks and tastes great. May it stay in business for many decades to come.
Lolinda was a great first experience for my Hubby and my 9 year old son. We decided to come here for Veteran's Day dinner for my hubby, who is a Marine Veteran. At first, we were reluctant to come because we are more into laid back restaurants and this place looked too fancy for what we usually opt for. We are so happy we decides to try because the food, ambiance, service, and overall experience was a 10/10. We felt comfortable, we enjoyed the music, and the setting was just right for a nice evening dinner when my little family. Everything was delicious! We ordered a lot of food, over 250 dollars worth because we wanted to try so many dishes. My favorite was the prime rib eye steak and lengua, melt in your mouth heavenly goodness. Try it!!!!
I highly reccomend. Come to this place! Your expectations will be met. Will come back again soon!!!
Was craving some steak when a friend offered this restaurant as a local hidden gem. From the minute I waked in, it was like you walked into a new world. The soft kit space with music and great energy was met with great service from the hostess. Drinks are so delicious and pair well with anything. We had a shared plate with double chorizo instead of blood sausage l, and tinkers with a kale side. This was perfect for the night and both our stomachs.
Lolinda has always been a restaurant in my bookmark. I've finally had the opportunity to experience the rumors myself, it's one of the best restaurants in the city. I assumed I made my reservation at 8:45, but once I got the confirmation email I noticed it said 9:45 - a tad bit late, with plans planned for after dinner. I called and informed the host of what happened, she told me they were en route with all their reservations and for me to just come in earlier. So that's what we did. Once we got checked in I was informed to have my phone on me for they will text me once a table opens up. However, by some miracle, within a minute of informing me so, she said I will be seated right away now. We were beyond ecstatic. From service to food to ambiance - it was all overall exquisite. We tried a lot of small plates and entrees. Our favorite had to be the ceviche and the steaks. Also, by the time we ordered our dessert, a complimentary birthday slice came out with a candle - making us feel all the more welcomed. We will be coming back, thank you so much Lolinda.
I'm so glad I found this place. I had dinner here with the GF for her birthday. Parking here is difficult, but they offer valet and they have a garage right around the corner. I got lucky and found a spot a block away. When I arrived they sat us right away. The restaurant has 2 floors the first floor is more of a casual settings and the tables are close to each other so it's not as private. Upstairs is better for a date because it's not as noisy and you have a bit more space. Our server Myles was amazing. His recommendations were delicious and his service was just as good. He checked up on us just enough to make sure we were doing great. We got the mushroom empanadas. Those were flaky and crispy and the filling was delicious. We also got the chicken skewer. The chicken was moist and the flavor was spot on. The corn was a bit dry but it had lots of flavor. We then moved on to the cauliflower salad. It was just as delicious the balsamic dressing went perfect it gave it a sweet and sour taste I enjoyed it. We also got the filet steak it was 6 oz and the perfect amount for my GF and I. We didn't want lots of steaks and the serving size was perfect. They paired it with a chimichurri sauce. We ended dinner with yuca fries. They were crispy and sweet. One of my favorite ever. Afterwards Myles brought over a slice of cake for my GF with a candle. It was perfect way to end the night and brought a smile on her face. I will definitely be coming back to try other dishes and for the vibe. Also want to give a shout-out to Myles. Thanks for making my GFs birthday special.
wonderful place to have dinner and drinks. Will definitely return.
Love everything about this place! Great food and drinks!
It was a marvelous evening
Did not like the food. The meat was too tough and chard.
We ordered ojo de Befi, asado mixto & Gaucho.- very dry way overcooked! I would not recommend this place! We felt rushed by the waitress- not even very helpful with our orders since it was our 1st time! Not worth it for the money... way overpriced!
While the menu made my mouth water and the food was good, I don’t think it met my expectations. The pescado ceviche was the best thing I had, and it was delicious. Pork belly was good, Branzino and skirt steak as well, but just good. Kale and mushrooms did not deliver.
Service was a bit off. Server spoke directly to my male friend upon arrival, basically into his ear completely ignoring me and showing him what was new on the menu. I had to remind him I was sitting there. He removed the butcher block our steak was served on and there was a pool of au jus just under it; it wasn’t cleaned up.
My friend said it’s a casual restaurant, yes, but not casual prices so.. bring it up a bit.
Food ok. Given tiny table space despite requesting booth. Service good. Very noisy. Have had better food
The music was horrible -- we felt like we were at the hard Rock Cafe, not a cool restaurant in the Mission. It's an Argentinean restaurant -- why not have Latin music? And the music was so loud that, in addition to the restaurant noise, we couldn't hear each other, even over a small table. The ambiance was depressing -- loud, endless banquets, dark. Did I mention loud? There was nothing relaxed or comfortable about it. The waitress brought the wrong drink and then dropped a huge plate of some kind of sauce that spattered over my boots. She apologized, brought anther drink, dabbed at my boots but really -- we couldn't wait to get out of there. The food was good, but small portions and just did not make up for the total lack of atmosphere. I would not recommend it and will certainly never return.
Arrived for our reservation when the restaurant opened. Placed cocktail order right away. Had to wait 25 minutes for our cocktails. Our entire dinner was served before we even received our drinks. Our server said that is just the way it is when they open and we should always expect to wait a half hour for our drinks at opening time. I suggested maybe they hire another bartender at that time. Server replied why? Clearly did not understand. It was so dark in the restaurant that everyone at the tables were using their cell phone lights to read the menu. When I asked the server why they did not turn up the lights she said to just use my phone and that they kept it that way for the ambiance. I said you mean the ambiance of having 50 cell phone lights on at the same time in the restaurants. Then the manager came over to appease us although we never asked to see her. She proceeded to tell me over and over how beautiful my eyes and handbag were instead of addressing the actual issues. Please hire a real manager and make this place better.
The menu was a bit hard to read. The light level was very dim where we were seated. Other than that we had a delicious and unique experience.
Excellent service and divine meat. The bone marrow was also delicious. Easy to eat here if you're looking for gluten free options.
