Lola’s is a family-friendly pizzeria and the sophomore venue from Harriet Roxburgh and Harry Peasnell, who run the beloved sandwich shop, Peggy’s. It’s in the same Imperial Chambers building, in a charming space with handsome beetroot-coloured stone, salvaged jarrah timber, terracotta wine holders and painter Ash-Lee Clarke’s palette of earthy tones.

    Delicious food but a little on the pricey side for the portion size. Unfortunately they were a little understaffed so service was efficient but minimal. The outdoor sitting area could do with some music to add some and heating as felt quite disconnected from the restaurant, and lacked some ambience. It was very cold (although they supplied some blankets to have on our laps) but some outdoor heating would be nice across winter to ensure you can dine in comfort.

    We had a great lunch at Lolas on Saturday. They were very accommodating of us moving tables due to the cold weather and we loved their pizzas. The mushroom was definitely a highlight as was the deep pan cheese and tomato. Thanks Lolas.

    My son ordered the spicy sausage pizza which we all loved, the salad was tasty and the star was the burrata. Only gripe was you needed more of the bread to go with it. My mum loved her wine too

    Service was very attentive. Pleasant staff members. Prompt service. Food was fresh and first class. Will return very soon too try some of the other options on the menu. Beer was cold and the Picardi Merlot/Cabernet from Pemberton was well balanced and went well with the pizza. Thank You to the staff.
