   Honestly was quite disappointed. It was our first time at Lola, and it will be a while before I want to try it again. When seated the service was slow and we kind of felt like an inconvenience to even be there. Price wise, the value is not there for what you get. We had carne asada tacos, which was $18 for two tacos and a couple pickles veggies, and a carne asada quesadilla for $22, steak cheese on a tortilla with a dollop of guacamole. The steak was cooked perfectly, but honestly that was the only thing going for it. There was no real flavor other than some salt on the meat. I was missing the cilantro on the quesadilla, asked for it, and never got it. The biggest pro of Lola were their drinks (we had a margarita and mexi cali which were very tasty) and the ambience. Sitting on the patio was fabulous and 9th and 9th in great weather can’t be beat. I want to try this place again in hopes that if we order something different the experience would be better.

   Food was a bit overpriced and under-seasoned. It seemed like there were nice ideas on interesting flavor combinations, but the meal didn’t really deliver on that in taste

   Service was horrible! Server was rude and slow. There was 4 in our group and 2 of us were unable to order what we wanted due to the restaurant being out but wasn’t notified of anything at the beginning

   The food was amazing! We liked the guac a lot! The chips were delicious! The carne asada is fantastic! We also had the margaritas and they were yummy! The server was running like crazy. She was so nice and accommodating! Yeah they were swamped so maybe not fast but it’s NOT a fast food joint so whatever! And actually the food came out quick. The owner is cool. Will be back!

   This was the best place to have Valentine’s Dinner. We drove to SLC from California and were 30 minutes late for our reservation. The staff honored our reservation and we had a wonderful dining experience which included long stem roses for the ladies, the cutest trailer/photo booth with complementary photos and a delicious dinner. We will be back again!

   Phenomenal restaurant. In the best part of slc. Fish tacos and steak quesadilla were amazing!

   The service was great. The food looked & tasted amazing. Loved the ambiance & so nice that they let you take a rose as you left & you could have your picture taken outside in a fun Photo Booth for free. Such a fun place to go for Valentine’s Day!

   Its kind of expensive for not a ton of food. $18 for two tacos, and majority of my taco was purple cabbage with some chicken. We were in and out of the restaurant from being sat to paying. They did give us a rose for valentines day, which was a fun tough. We left hungry though.

    Food and service were great! We ordered the Open Face Burrito, Tinga Empanada, and the guacamole side. The meat in the burrito was perfectly tender and overall a great dish and the Tinga empanada was also fantastic. We could have lived without the guacamole and should have tried something else given in being $18 and nothing to write home about. Overall a great restaurant experience!
