Great food, but very limited veggie options

Amazing happy hour pricing and food and beverage choices! Our server Mick was just wonderful! We all shared table side quac!!! Yummy! Custom heat levels is a nice touch! Flavorful queso fundo! Hot chips! Great fish tacos! Nice ambiance . Could lower music a bit, but otherwise great place that we all agreed we return too!

Trish provided amazing service and made an already special evening all the more memorable.

The tables are too small and your new menu's are too big for the size of your tables. Your prices are high for what we received.

Great happy hour & all night on Monday. Order the tableside guacamole when it’s only $6 on happy hour! Our server Val was fantastic.

Bad oysters! Not celiac friendly despite their website indicating they can accommodate special diets. A total and unmitigated disaster. Don’t waste your money here.

The food is always great and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

The spice that they use was a little much for my wimpy self and added excellently thought out flavor. The staff was willing and able to make multiple accomodations in the preparations of dishes. Very positive staff.

Overcooked food

Our server name Mick is a great waitress and our mixologist Cheyenne made our drinks awesomely yummy.

I wasn't impressed. I used to love this place, but it's different now.

Came here for brunch. Great colorful atmosphere. Mic are server was great. Had the guacamole very good and brûlée’s grapefruit. The lobster deviled eggs cane highly recommended but they ran out. Tried the corn soup very good and my friend has the French toast. Bloody Mary spicy and delicious.

Usually a great place. Service was off this morning. Shouldn't take 15 minutes to get a round of drinks while sitting at the bar. Seems they may have been short staffed.

Nice bright space, excellent service and the food was fantastic. Great place for brunch on Bronco Sunday!

Loved the food and server. The food is basic, but elevated.

The food and drinks just aren’t the same quality/caliber as they were before the renovations. Many of the drinks are pre-mixed and not as potent. They took away my favorite dishes and desserts (although the new churro dessert is great).

Our first time back since the refresh/remodel. The service, food, and drinks were spot on as we'd grown to expect. Definitely a brighter more vibrant feel to the decor, I'm glad to have this gem remain in the neighborhood.

I am loving the changes to the interior and to the menu. A friend and I went for brunch on a Sunday and had a really great time. They recently renovated to include more seating and a brighter environment. It looks really open and inviting. The brunch menu had some changes but I think they all are unique and could please many different types of tastes.

We've enjoyed Lola for a long time and though the beautiful downtown view is no longer, it's still a great place. We had an out of towner and he was super impressed with the area of town, the gorgeous restaurant and the food. Thanks for helping us be good hosts.

The service was excellent! I received my food and it was way too spicy, we told our waitress and she took it off our ticket and let me order something else. If you love seafood, you will love this place!

Birthday bumch

Great service food was absolutely delicious!

Bring back some of the original menu. Just after the big renovation we swung by for a cocktail and the chips and salsa trio platter. Instead, we got something with squid ink and peanut oil. Lets just say a lot was left over and we left disappointment. I was told the original salsa trio was no longer on the menu. That's a bummer. Also, the chicken and waffles is no longer on the menu for brunch come to find out. Another unexpected bummer. The replacement - chicken and churros - was pretty good but wasn't chicken and waffles. Stop taking good stuff off the menu please. Eventually it's going to get to a point where I just stop going in fear that everything will have changed again. Repeat customers like consistency and quality. When you remove either of those, you lose us.

Love the decor, location, and ambiance. The cauliflower appetizer was really good especially the puréed version. Margs were really good. I had the short ribs and really didn’t like it. The presentation wasn’t good either. It was a pile of meat and beans.

The waitress was awesome and service as a whole was good.

We love Lola! The ambiance and decor are my favorite. The food is excellent...definitely not your traditional Mexican. It has the coastal flair which I love!

This is an excellent restaurant. One thing we have noticed in our recent move from the Boston area to Denver is in general the service at most restaurants can be lacking. Often you wait a while to even get water, never mind a drink. At Lola the service was outstanding. We had water at the table and our drink order placed promptly. They also brought out a complementary bean dip and pita chips right away which were delicious and a nice touch. I had the lobster enchiladas which were very rich and delicious. My husband has the Tijuanero tacos which he really liked and were very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is lively and fun. Will definitely be back.

We arrived for dinner @5:40 which was still in time to get a $6 margarita and really excellent guacamole, made at our table. All the main entrees were very good. The whole fish and roasted chicken were our favorites.

Love the new remodel and their food is amazing. The huevos rancheros were delicious as were the peach mimosas!!

Very inventive, beautifully prepared, and affordable

Great food and great service provided by Trish! Had not visited the restaurant since the remodel and was very impressed with the new interior. Looks great!

We were disappointed that it was only when it came time to order that we were informed about what items were sold out. It would have been best to find out when our drink order was taken or when our server explained the menu concept and layout to us.

Honestly overpriced for lunch. Food was good but not a stand out. Felt like the price was similar to restaurants within the area, however since the remodel it feels like you’re sitting inside a long John silvers.

We used to love love Lola but the changes to the menu and the things we love were a disappointment. They used to have the best guacamole and now it’s boring with no flavor. Our entrees were just ok. I don’t know if we will be back. 😢

Great food, will have to order the guacamole next time the table side prep looked amazing. Good service and a very hip atmosphere.

The Agua Fresca, jalapeño & cucumber infused water was bright, with the perfect hint of spice. Love! We had a variety of apps during happy hour ~ each was delicious & interesting. Our server, Christian, was perfect: attentive, fluent with the menu, and as kind as can be, despite the fact that we were dining at happy hour & not spending big bucks. Cool vibe and terrific staff. I’ll be back soon ~ Lola’s was a find ~

We loved the ambiance, had fantastic service, and I just really wanted to love the food, but didn't. Some of the food was very good - others felt like they were trying too hard. We started with the green gazpacho which was just "eh". The queso appetizer had a great flavor. The lobster enchiladas had a lot of potential, but the sauce just was too overpowering and took away from the overall taste. The sauce for the tacos however was to die for as were the Palomas. Overall a good experience.
