Lokma, which means “a bite” in Turkish, opened in Feb 2018 and is located in the Outer Richmond. We serve a fresh Californian and Turkish fare while serving our guests with warm hospitality in our bright and open space.

Please note that we allow 15-minute grace period for reservations, we ask that you please call if you are going to be late. Reservations will be marked as no-shows after 15 minutes. Due to the high number of no-shows and last-minute cancellations, we now have a 24-hour cancellation window for parties of 6 or more. We will require credit card information through OpenTable. There will be a $10 fee for no-shows or late cancellations per person for a party of 6 or more.

Your table will be reserved for 1 hour 30 minutes.

                                                            Food and atmosphere was great, no complaints there. We were having a nice time until we were practically pushed out the door! An hour and a half for a dinner you’d want to savor is not enough time. I understand the need to turn tables but it didn’t leave a great taste in our mouths.

                                                            We were a party of 5 which gave us the opportunity to try much of the menu, including all of the desserts. Everything was exceptional, particularly the Manti and the Turlu & Cous Cous. Our server was friendly, and timed everything perfectly.

                                                            Wow, for 3 of us this was a first time experience suggested by our niece. The starter appetizers of the honey, pita, cheese was a HUGE hit, we need more pita pieces to consume this deliciousness. We had the warm olives and the calamari which was mix of couscous, a new taste. For our entrees, two of us had the lamb chops which were done to perfection as medium rare, and the restaurant accommodated our request to hold the beef off the brussel sprouts which we were grateful. Our other guests had the chicken and couscous and the eggplant dishes again perfect. For our desserts, the group had baklava (always a hit), the tres leches Turkish style which for some was a little sweet (but hey I loved it), and the coconut cake. What a jewel in the Richmond area, we'll be back again!

                                                            Lokma is truly a neighborhood gem! They provide delicious food seven days a week and brunch and lunch at the end of the week and both Saturdays & Sundays.

                                                            The branzino!!! Really delicious meal. Got a bottle of wine and sat outside in the heated parklet. We got the citrus salad, kafte, calamari and zucchini dolmas. Great flavor and portion sizes to share. Will be back.
