We were not impressed overall, the food was over priced (menu is a bit misleading. Being a steak was roughly $30.00, than you had to order and side for a additional fee) for what was given and a portion of the food had to be sent back as it was not prepared correctly and it still wasn't brought out as requested. Parking was basically non-existent, we had to park 5 blocks away in a residential area at approximately 6:30p. I could not imagine trying to park if it were any later in the evening!!!
simply put, we both agreed that we would not come back or recommend.
Server James was very good. Very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Food & cocktails were delicious, and we'll definitely be back.
The service was great, fun and urban atmosphere without being pretentious. Above all, the food was high-quality and prepared in a way that emphasizes the food choice, and does not cover it up with sauces and toppings. It is our go-to choice in LoHi.
The food was amazing. Our Steak was beautifully cooked and had a great flavor and the beet dish was also a great flavor. (Oysters were good and Mac n Cheese was Ok).
If I was only rating the food this would be a no brainier 5 star review.
That said the service was lacking... I would have been between 3-4 stars but as they came to us and apologized twice for the the slow service I am rounding up.
If you (LoHi) can work out your service/kitchen times you will be a solid 5 stars.
I have been to LoHI a few times and I a never disappointed. The service is always great, the food is always delicious and the drinks are always top notch.
My steak was not good, very tough. Brussel sprouts tasted like someone had used an entire shaker of salt on them.
It was good-but the reason we went was to have their Oysters Rockefeller and although it was on the website-they no longer serve them. Drove a long way...
Great steak, great wine. Really enjoyed this dinner.
The steaks were great but the fries were so “crispy” it hurt my gums to eat them.
While the steaks were good the service was terrible. The hostess at the front sat us quickly but that’s where the good service stopped. We waited over 10 min for a sever to greet us and eventually had to ask someone to find him/her. The server we originally stopped ended up taking our orders because she said the other server was “too busy.” She was training and didn’t know much about the menu. Even when we named a beer on the menu she said she’d have to “ask if we have it” so we had to point to it. Our drinks were slapped onto the table haphazardly and no one stuck around after delivering drinks or food to the table for us to ask for anything additional or get drink refills. Overall we felt like were second rate guests and the staff could have cared less if we just got up and left, which was close to happening because we couldn’t get anyone to bring us a bill. Not to mention the restaurant wasn’t even full at this point.
For the price I’d suggest picking somewhere else with better service and the same or better food.
Service was professional and friendly. The truffle steak fries are amazing and really stood out compared to anything else we tried. The anchovies on the romain salad were intentially fried for crispness, which gave an overwhelming fish smell. Will definitely be back to try other items.
First time experience. Although we were slightly eat, they had a table available and seated us. Dinner was excellent. Service was outstanding. James was our waiter and he was professional, thorough, charming, and had a wonderful sense of humor! It’s not inexpensive but well worth what we spent.
Excellent food once again. The steaks were so tender & juicy!
We thought LoHi Steakbar was an excellent place for a special night out. We ordered three filets, all of which were perfectly done to order, and a salmon which was excellent. The woman who ordered the salmon asked if she could get the farm veggies that were featured with the chicken dinner and the staff was very accommodating. She said they were all excellent.
Great service, nice birthday surprise. Will return soon.
John (Executive Chef) puts out delicious food! You can taste the dedication to his craft.
James (Server) was welcoming and engaging. He was very knowledgeable of the menu.
4 girlfriends needing to catch up and we had a great time, food and service, then adjourned to the bar.
Great service and delicious food! The truffle fries are to die for and the cocktails are yummy.
Awesome restaurant! Used our Denver Passbook for the first time. Would highly recommend
Great food and service.
The food and service are top notch!! We will definitely be back.
I already mentioned this place to friends!!! Sssssssssoooooooo gggggggoooooodddddddd
Passive aggressive and rude server.
We had a wonderful experience. Phenomenal food and knowledgeable and attentive staff!
The food was wonderful. We tried nearly everything but the BEST part of our experience was our service partner Ed! he was FABULOUS!!!! What a wonderful person, service pro and sweetheart. Thank you for making our 38th wedding anniversary and 41st year together so glorious! And thanks to Lo-Hi Steakhouse!

We LOVED LoHi Steakbar. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the scallops that were cooked perfectly and my husband had the filet mignon which I could tell be sampling :) that it was a high grade steak. I loved the ambiance too - the lighting was just enough "low" to create a great atmosphere. We used our Denver Passbook and I am not sure we would have found this restaurant on our own since we live south of Littleton. Great Great restaurant. We hope to come back.
The crabcakes and scallops were delicious!
Excellent drinks and the best steaks I've ever had.
Attentive staff, specifically our waitress, excellent food. 5 stars all the way.
My family was visiting from out of state and we went to Lohi Steakbar. It was the best meal of the trip. We all ordered steaks. Mine came out just slightly more done than I had wanted and without any question they remade it and brought it out. I was so impressed with how quickly they took care of it. Alejandro was our server and was delightful. I will definitely be back.
Great customer service, good selection on the menu not too big or too small. Like the bar up front as you walk in.
Great atmosphere and great food! Would highly recommend to others.
Great dining experience! The food was fantastic as well as a good value. Easy to book a reservation and outdoor seating was worth it. Would highly recommend!
Great food and great people. Parking is tough
The steak fries are ridiculously good! A full, perfectly cooked steak on top of fries with glaze and gruyère cheese. Yum! The steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked as well. This place has become one of our family favourites!
For a place that calls themselves a steak bar their selection of steaks is limited so keep that in mind. Overall I wouldn't really call the menu adventurous or unique.
What they do serve is very tasty and they do treat their steaks well.
The real focus here is on the drinks. They have a good bar selection and fairly good service. So if you're looking for a higher end drink and maybe a burger along with it this is your place.
The poor acoustics and the glare from the front window window made the evening extremely uncomfortable. The staff were very receptive to my request to turn the music volume down and to see if anything could be done about the glare (there wasn't). It turned our that the music volume was not the problem--adjusting it didn't help--it was, instead, a poorly designed acoustic environment. In addition to preventing conversation with our dining companions, it actually hurt my ears! I won't return to this restaurant even though everything else was wonderful! I find this to be a common problem in Denver restaurants --casual or gourmet--in recent years. It keeps me from patronizing many restaurants, even though I love dining out and would eat out much more frequently otherwise. Then there is the issue of hearing loss resulting from repeated exposure to loud noise...
You can always count on a well prepared and delicious meal complimented by cordial and efficient servers at LoHi Steakbar!
We went to LoHi Steakbar for our anniversary and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the Purple Mountain Majesty cocktail was especially good!
We started our anniversary night out at LoHi, and had a great time. We especially appreciated the champagne toast at the end of our meal. We'll be back!
Nice menu with quality steaks. Specialty cocktails were very good. Server was very friendly and fun to chat with!
