   Extremely unimpressed with this restaurants attentiveness to allergies. I’ve been here 3 times now, I’m celiac but asymptomatic (I don’t get sick after- however it still damages me to eat gluten). Every time I’ve been here I’ve ordered the chicken satay appetizer which comes with bread and every time I confirm with the server that the dish is gluten free and she says yes- and I have been eating the bread. This time I clarified and she tells me the bread is not gluten free and has never been, only the chicken is. I would like the restaurant to know that this dish is NOT considered gluten free if there’s bread with gluten on the plate. That completely contradicts the entire concept of gluten free. I hope no one else has to find out this way which is why I am posting this review.

   I have recommended the Loft Thai Eatery to many people. The food is delicious and the service is great. It would be better if they had larger premises. It can be quite busy, crowded and noisy in their tiny restaurant. I’m glad they’re busy because I definitely want them to stay in business.

   Our meal was delicious! Service was a little bit slow but the servers were both very polite and friendly and food was served in a timely manner. I am not certain what the noise level rating I chose means but in a few words, noise was not an issue. We will certainly return and recommend to all our friends!

   Went with my friend and it was very quiet and peaceful. Service was quick and the food was excellent. Good portions for the price paid. Very friendly server as well! Would definitely go back!

   We were very disappointed. We were expecting more since the reviews were positive. The beef short ribs were bland and dry. The salmon was under cooked. The steak had a lot of fat and no flavour. It was not “spicy with Thai spices”. I also question the quality of the steak. Not AAA. The service was slow because they seemed to be working on Skip the Dishes orders. There was no availability at the Thai Valley Grill (our favourite Thai restaurant) so we chose the LOFT. Now I know why the restaurant was almost empty. Maybe their traditional Thai dishes are better. But we will not be returning to find out.

   Based on the menu and the reviews, I thought this place was going to be an upscale Thai restaurant...especially based on their pricing. Don't get me wrong, it is a decent looking restaurant and is clean and the staff is friendly...it just wasn't what I expected. The quality of food is similar to what you might find at Thai Valley Grill but you are paying an extra $2. I ordered the Real Crab Rangoon which I was excited about because I love crab meat and cream cheese together. I found that the crab meat didn't taste very fresh and the dough used was too thick and kinda bland. I got 5 pieces, which were the size of a meatball, for $14. I find that a bit steep for an appetizer...especially when there is only 5 pieces. % is also an odd number for sharing. If you are in the area, it might be okay for a lunch but I wouldn't go outta my way to go there.
