   Really nice spot for brunch if you are around Dundrum. Food is really good and always consistent. Service is super friendly and efficient, always with a big smile. It can be busy during the weekend so I would advise booking in advance. 10/10

   Food cold, no one came to ask if the food was ok. One of my guests asked for fried eggs, was not asked how she liked them. Cold when served and yolks raw. Asked to top up teapots with boiling water. Only did one. I was not asked if we would like anything else or if I wanted another coffee.

   Fab setting, great menu and reasonably priced. Good value for money! Could have had an extra egg and would have liked the egg more runny. One poached egg and it was small. Coffee came to the table a little cold. Service was great! Would recommend to a friend and will be back again!

   It was my first time visiting Loft. I ordered eggs royal, had a glass of wine, followed by coffee. I really enjoyed the food, and atmosphere. It’s a nice spot, being elevated from the ground floor makes it very airy and perfect place for brunch in my opinion. Service was very good, nothing to fault. I definitely would come back here.

    Ok experience but won't go back. We booked well in advance for 5 but seating was just an extra seat at the end of a 4 seater table & we were positioned very close to a walk way for staff so not off to a great start - staff were friendly but service was slow and inconsistent (waiting 1hr+ for drinks we'd ordered with our food which we then just cancelled as no point having after we'd finished our meal; cleared half the table while 2 of our group were still eating & when they were finished their plates were left for about 20mins; we had to ask twice for dessert menu and then bill was brought without us asking for it as our seating was finished - even though the slow service was why we took so long). One of the salads we ordered was missing a major ingredient listed on its description, which staff said was never served with it & reluctantly agreed once we asked to check it on the menu. Toilets were out of toilet paper and soap also. Finally they pitch themselves as a brunch place but on't have a cocktail menu even though they have the ingredients & state they make them? I'd been here previously when it just opened & had similar difficulties but had hoped it was just teething problems but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case...

    A beautifully stylish dining room with a contemporary Scandi feel and an open plan kitchen. Loft offers a straightforward menu, and each of our dishes was very tasty and beautifully presented. The fish was incredibly fresh, whilst flatbreads, salads and other accompaniments didn’t disappoint. We drank a couple of glasses of the Albarino and the Gruner Veltliner, which were very pleasant and generously poured. Attentive staff made for a very enjoyable family meal.

    Everything outstanding! From the minute that we came in till we left. The restaurant has a nice set up, the service was prompt, attentive, and really friendly. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

    Very disappointed. Food fine, staff pleasant but need some training. Real problem was acoustics and lack of atmosphere. Cold atmosphere. Felt like eating in a work canteen.

    Ordered the hash which was advertised on the menu as being served with poached eggs. It came with one egg. My daughter ordered sweet potato fritter dish. It wasn't a fritter but more of a patty. It came with avocado which was half an avocado which wasn't even sliced or mashed,it was just dropped on plate. Terrible presentation

    Service absolutely dreadful. Sat for 25 minutes before our order even taken. 2 waiting staff one that had only started that day and not trained. Felt very sorry for him. More and more diners were being sat with no one getting in service at all. . Chefs looked completely fed up. When food finally arrived it was good.

    I don't like leaving negative reviews and had I not received this request to complete this review I wouldn't have bothered. Overall the experience was fine but it could be so much better. The service was really slow and we kept having to ask for basic things like milk. Our coffee was very slow to come and the food was even slower despite the place not being too packed. In fact there seemed to be plenty staff but things did not run smoothly. I have been several times for brunch and I have to say I have always found the staff to be inefficient and bordering on rude. I honestly believe some additional training could resolve this or perhaps a review of hiring policies to ensure the right staff are employed. The venue is lovely so it would be a shame for the place to get a bad name for the above.

    Under no circumstances would I recommend Loft to friends for at least another six months-the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. I felt for the chefs as they were working hard but the waiter got the order wrong despite us advising him to write our order down which led to rework for the chef and delayed dining for us bearing in mind we had two kids under 5. I won’t be returning until I hear that things have picked up. It has all of the ingredients to be a potential succcess-nice setting nice clientele. Best of luck to the Loft Manager.

    Food was great as always. Service was very poor. There was one waitress working by herself which was a busy period even though it was early enough in the morning. We decided to get the freshly squeezed orange juice even though it’s pricey. My daughter whilst waiting for drinks to come said ‘I hate when you get the food before the drinks. ‘ and that is exactly what happened. The food came out first and no sign of the drinks. We had to ask twice more before we got them. When they did come out we were nearly finished our food so we didn’t enjoy them just rushed to finish them before leaving.

    Loft has a limited menu, which might no suit some people. However what they do, they do well. The tables are decently spread apart so there is plenty of circulation space. The high ceiling height lends itself to the sense of spaciousness. Previously I was there for brunch with a large family group of 7, including a baby. Their brunch is excellent. The service was friendly and efficient without being too formal. I’ll be back

    Didn’t meet expectations. We were still eating and our server came over asking were we finished and did we want the bill. Bill was brought over we said we would like to finish our food/drinks so give us a few minutes. 2 minutes later came back and insisted we pay.

    They were short staffed and the guy working made no secret of how much pressure he felt he was under even though there was only ourselves and another four dining. Rushing around, setting tables and looking very much under pressure by the time he decided to take our order. Would try it again as the setting is nice and the food was nicely presented.

    Had brunch there with my son whose birthday it was. LOVE no cut off time for Brunch. Food was delicious. Staff made a big fuss of my son with cake, candles, and offering to take photos of the two or us. Left with very happy bellies and a great big smile on both our faces. Will be back as soon as I can.

    Lovely leisurely evening meal. The food was very tasty! The mussels were gorgeous and a generous serving, the rock lobster was nice, but on the small side, if you were particularly hungry. Baj our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Will go again!

    Lovely space, architecture . Beautiful renovation. Food for as very ordinary. Nothing special about any of the main courses. Pedestrian. The shop needs to be screened off by night it detracts from the ambience.
