We made a reservation for 8:45 pm expecting it to be busy. When we got to the restaurant 15 minutes before the reservation, there were plenty of open tables so we were unhappy that they only had late reservations. We got seated and the waitress took our drink order, dropped off the drinks and then disappeared for 35 minutes doing everything but serving us. We ordered apps and dinner at once but asked for them to come out separate and that did not happen. All of the food was wildly mediocre. The taco salad was essentially just a ground beef and bean salad, the tacos were underwhelming and the nachos were too salty. The bathrooms were disgusting and the music did not match the holiday vibe that they were promoting. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Crazy loud. We had to ask for water glasses, utensils, plates, napkins more than once. Waitress seemed annoyed. Food was mediocre. Decorations were nice but not enough to make me go back.

We liked the atmosphere at Loco, but the music was way too LOUD. We could barely hear one another. The drinks and food were good. Our server was not particularly friendly and did not seem to enjoy her job.

Go for the vibe and if you're a fan of loud music. Oh yeah, the host is most untrustworthy. There were tables right beside us by the TV, not one, but two, but she made us sit in booth right opposite to kitchen and said they were reserved. The entire 2 hours no one arrived for those tables. Food is Ok-ish. The stand out food was street corn. Def try.

So excited to try this place but it didn’t live up to he hype. Drinks yummy mine a little too sweet. Our server was meh, attentive enough but felt like she was phoning it in not bad just didn’t add anything to our experience. Nice space with big windows and funky decor. Started with queso with hard to find chorizo it was gooey and cheesy but forgettable. Tacos were decent but tortillas didn’t have much flavor for freshly made. Probably wouldn’t rush back if I’m in the area.

I love that Beer Works has finally sunk! Loco is a much more welcoming space, and the food is MILES beyond the bar-chow, served by the former owner (Who currently owns a noisy, second-rate, Chili’s-style dump). Our sever, Paige, was great, the tacos were excellent, and no one who enjoys great food, and atmosphere, will miss Boston Beer Worst.

The atmosphere was fun and everyone was friendly. The service felt a little rushed but also we couldn’t get a hold of out server when we needed her. The food and drinks were just ok. A little underwhelming. After all the hype, I really wanted the quality/taste to be better. Hoping we just ordered the wrong thing on the menu. Nothing was bad… just nothing was incredible or very tasty . We were two ppl. We tried the cauliflower taco, shrimp taco, short rib taco, and fish taco… they had so many different flavors going on that you couldn’t really taste anything. we also ordered a guac, which was good. You can’t go wrong with guac. We got two cocktails that weren’t great. We didn’t finish them. Overall nothing was bad but nothing was great either

We waited 15 minutes before our server came over to say hello, bring us water or take a drink order. Once we received our drinks one of my guests was served white wine in a filthy glass, The glass looked like it wasn’t washed and had food particles floating in it. On the plus side the food and the drinks were delicious.

Super disappointing. Been look forward to trying Loco Fenway since it opened because we like the Southie location but it’s far. This was so disappointing. First, it was at least 20mins before some came to take drink orders, he didn’t say a word either just came over to the table and waited awkwardly. Then it took forever to get drinks and queso and we were ready to order but our waiter didn’t bring the queso. It was a very long time before he came to do food orders. Thankfully the food came quickly and was pretty good so that was ok. It seemed like the waiter wanted nothing to do with us, he would come and leave so fast that we couldn’t order anything. It was hard to get another round of drinks. It was hot inside and very loud.

Waitress was low energy and did the bare minimum. She did herjob but without any enthusiasm and zero emotion. Tacos were great and my spicy mezcal marg was awesome. Hostess was friendly with a big smile. Will definitely come back.

Needs a better system for wait staff. We could see our waiter running laps around the restaurant, which meant slow service. Oysters here were good, but food was okay.

The atmosphere is great! While a little loud, it was the perfect place to enjoy drinks and apps before a Red Sox game! Highly recommend the chips and guac, along with any margarita on the menu! The loaded wings are great if you like sweet wings and the carne asada tacos are for sure one of the best!! Very cool place for just a drink, apps or date night!

There were six of us, and we sat at a table right near the street, hey open up the walls which was lovely. The food was great, and the drinks were amazing! Highly recommend !!

The quality of the food was outstanding but the service was very poor. Couldn’t find our waitress for Tabasco sauce, asked a passing waitress and she never came back with it. My friend had to wait 30 mins after I received my food (we both ordered at the same time) for her food. The waitress forgot to put her order in. But the quality of the food is very good.

The music was way too loud-otherwise perfect ambiance. Even our waiter couldn't hear. Thid led to lost drink sales as we left earlier. I'm 90% sure having it that loud didn't add 2 single customer. Food excellent

Thinking the service and food would be like the South Boston location was the first mistake me and my group made. The atmosphere was nice and the place itself was cool and new but that couldn’t make up for the lack of service followed by cold, not seasoned, dry food. There was multiple times our server looked over at us while we needed help and purposely avoided our table resulting in us having to flag down another server. In the end we learned our lesson and we will just stick to the original loco for the food that we know and love.

Literally the worst restaurant I've ever been to. Please avoid. Half the menu was unavailable. No draft beers were available. The food was terrible. Service was terrible. Literally took one bite. Didn't eat anymore. Paid the bill and left for another restaurant. Wow. Just disgusting.
