Situated in the popular Portobello district of Dublin, neighbourhood restaurant Locks Brasserie follows in the footsteps of acclaimed sister eatery Pearl. Infused with an air of refined luxury, Locks Brasserie is classical in style, appointed in earthen tones, sumptuous textiles and simple art in a fitting tribute to the restaurant’s setting within a prettily converted red brick terrace. A menu strong on experimentation yet comfortingly familiar all at once is the Locks Brasserie trademark. In chef Rory Carville’s kitchen even the most simple and traditional of dishes is given a gourmet makeover, a reflection of his own Irish heritage fused with that of French manager Thomas Pinoncely, who comes to Dublin from a small village in South West France.
