Quaint restaurant. Food was so good. We had a 6:30 reservation and noticed the crowd starts to change around 8pm.
I couldn’t get certain items from menu due to the item being unavailable but accommodations were made.
Lively experience and great food!
Nice place nice ambiance. Excellent food. Really good service.
They could use better outdoor heaters.
Service with Tia and ambiance were great oysters and deviled eggs were perfect. Crab cakes were ok but fish and chips were terrible. I ate 1 tasted rubbery. Manager took the plate away and we never saw him again. We will try Loch again
The waiter was Terrible had to ask other waiter for Service.
My salad was quite fresh and savory.
Terrific food!!
Server was pleasant and attentive. The kitchen seemed somewhat slow considering there were only two other tables occupied.
I’d go back!
The host ladies and floor Managers were exceptional.
Nice place. Great service and food is good for the most part. Nice selection of Scotch, albeit a bit over priced.
Friends bday
Great food and wine by the glass recommended by waitress
Jordan is amazing!! Did NYE here and it was great. They had a midnight champagne toast and confetti and hats for all. Loch Bar has great drinks and food and they made an already great atmosphere nice and festive but not overcrowded for NYE.
We were there for new years eve. We enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend.
We had a very nice NYE dinner here. Food, service, ambience and price were all perfect. I would've eaten there again the next day if I could have!
For NYE the service was so-so. The prices for the products are a bit much- crab cakes are very good but the price is outrageous. Overall a 7 out of 10.
Food is amazing! Highly recommend for seafood lovers.
The service was outstanding, from hostess to bartender to our server. The wine sommelier helped us select a great choice. We had all-you-can-eat stone crab claws.. a lady who cracked them got carried away, however.. and the shells were broken into tiny bits, and some were inedible. The chef needs to train her that a couple firm whacks with the handle of a knife or spoon are enough to help to remove the delicious (and expensive) crab meat. Our first time at Loch Bar- next time we’ll be back for $1 oysters!
Celebrated my birthday here during brunch time with my family.
Great service and great food!
Service was excellent
As always a great time. Food was great as well as the vibe. Highly recommended
I am a big fan of Loch Bar. I have been a few times, the food is always fresh and great. They have a variety of seafood for guests who like different things. They had live music on Thursdays i believe which was really nice. I always know if i bring guests here they will have a great memory and a delicious mean.
Jordan is the best waitress ever
Went for an anniversary date. We sat at the bar for their happy hour options. They treated us with champagne to toast our celebration which was really sweet. The food was delicious and the $1/oyster happy hour deal is just too good to not do again!
I went back for the grilled cheese sandwich with jumbo lump crab added. But instead of jumbo crab pieces, I received stringy bits of crab. I was disappointed for sure
Food was just ok! Brussel sprouts were amazing. My mimosa wasn't good, had to send bak. Will give another try when I return to Houston.
It was nice, waitress took a while to check on us between everything causing us to be late to our next destination but the birthday meal turned out okay
All-you-can-eat Stone Crab claws were out of this world delicious. Polite, friendly service.
Love the overall dining experience! From the ambience to the food and everything in the middle. The staff is top notch and the drinks are stellar.
Excellent location in the heart of Galleria area/River Oaks District. The food and menu have limited options. The food was slightly above average, but not worth the expensive prices. I would not return for a meal.
Great service and the food was great
Great music - Stevie mathew is an awesome singer
Great drinks, great food and great service!
We visited Loch Bar on a Thursday evening and were greeted pleasantly. The menu was impressive although services was lackluster. Our server, (Lamonte) I believe?? was preoccuppied with his female colleague seen hugging them multiple times. I have to called the hostess over to get his attention to ask questions about the menu. Other times, we felt rushed and his demeanor was not very welcoming. We ordered appetizers (Lobster sliders and Fried Oysters) which were great! For the entree, we ordered the Red snapper with basmati and short ribs both of which were tasty. I noticed one manager with a limp visited every table except ours to check on the experience however another well dressed gentlemen popped over to compliment and ask how our experience was. If it weren't for the service, I would have rated the experience higher. Note to management, don't selectively choose which tables to visit.
Loch Bar advertised "All You Can Eat Stone Crab Claws" on Tuesday nights in December, but didn't honor the ad. Worst customer service.
We went there to try the “All you can eat stone crabs” every Tuesday in December however, to our dismay they ran out of the stone crab one hour into our meal and it took a while to get a refill since they were backed up. They should plan accordingly if they are going to advertise it all over social media.
Food was good. Service (Tiaira) was excellent. Enjoyed.
