After being seated we had to go find our waiter, who was very nice and attentive. The tenderloin appetizer had very chewy meat and the shrimp was also tough. My burger was good but not great and the seafood club had very little seafood on it.
The food and drinks are always good with my lobster roll tasting delicious. Thank you for your wonderful service and valet.
My waitress was very welcoming. Loved that she stopped at my table when she wasn’t busy to chat a lit. Her hospitality was very welcoming
Had a wonderful wonderful time ,toke my girlfriend for her birthday. The food was awesome the service was outstanding. Highly recommend.
We were disappointed. The cream of crab soup had bits of shell in every bite. The filet was too garlicky and the asparagus was over done. The salmon added to my salad was a very small portion for the cost. Overall, we got very little food for a 160$ bill, that only included 2 glasses of wine and a beer.
Noise: We were there when it opened on a Thursday. Few people but noisy--mostly due to accoustics, I think. We wouldn't want to be there on a weekend. We ate inside, outside would have been a better choice.
Food: we had four oysters 2 fried, 2 Rockefeller--for $16. The fried were small and too fried, too much batter. The Rockefeller were great.
We split a $29 grilled cheese, with bacon and crab imperial. It was delicious! It was so rich and big that even the half was hard to eat. We had been out the night before and didn't want anything but water to drink. They brought it in an ice bucket and served in red wine glasses. We enjoyed it, even though it was a step away when we wanted to refill our glasses. We would have ordered another bottle, had the waiter asked.
Would we go back? Yes? Our expectations would be more realistic. It is a bar, after all!
Sitting outside by the water sipping on an excellent Froze. Lovely.
Wow! Now that was a crab cake!! Fantastic food, fantastic service and great outside dining!
I normally do not write such reviews but felt I had to based on a great experience.
Our waiter Sandesh was awesome so ask for him!
Service was excellent. Food was just ok.
Great place for Maryland seafood. Quality food and drinks.
Loch bar never disappoints. Top tier every time I'm there
Excellent service fantastic food great atmosphere. Will be a repeat customer when visiting Baltimore
We dined on a late August Monday evening, kindly seated in a quiet corner outdoors (great view, cool enough even on a sweltering day). Service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. We ordered a large Cobb salad to split (it is really big!) and each off the appetizer menu, moules frit and steak lettuce wraps. I ordered 1 glass of wine, the Albarino, which was great (this with the backing of a 2000 bottle cellar at home) Before we had anything but water and wine, rain threatened and all moved inside. So much for phone app weather. The noise level was deafening. Across a small table, 1 in 3 shouted words could be understood. We ate in disappointed silence, ordering coffee to wait out the rain. Food was delicious, as good as I have eaten out in Baltimore. It is expensive but not outlandish given the service and location. However, I will never go again unless it is certain I can find a shaded table outside. The noise for me is a difference between a 2 and a 10 no matter the quality of food and wine.
The food was outstanding!
The view allows a great opportunity for people watching along the harbor. Nice spot for drinks and sampling of small plates of fresh seafood. However the service failed when the sequence of drinks were off. Our oysters came out first, then our entree, finally our cocktails and our oysters Rockefeller came out with the check.
Wonderful as always
Enjoyed the ambiance
Happy hour is excellent! Their charcuterie board is excellent. We have a favorite server - Lane - who is excellent. She’s knowledgeable and helpful in our selections. We have tried so many things on the menu and it’s all been good. Our favorite go to place for casual dining
It was fantastic! The food was amazing and the server was a pleasure to have.
I enjoyed my time at loch bar. The ambience was wonderful and the food was delicious! A little overpriced but overall worth it
Crab cakes and lobster tails are the absolute best. Incredibly fresh and large portions!
Amazing service, food and cleanliness as always!
Great service and even better waitress. She was super knowledgeable and helpful.
Made a special trip from Philadelphia to Baltimore after 4 years just for the crab dip! Chesapeake club was stacked high and the lobster roll was bursting with lobster. Just lobster...and butter of course! Even though we couldn't finish our sandwiches, we somehow had room to finish off the s'more blondie dessert! Outdoor seating was beautiful!
Food and service was great but inside the restaurant was very loud and echoing.
The service was very slow
Out waitress (LD) was fantastic. In our opinion their crab cakes are the best ones we have had.
Very nice and pleasant staff. Went there to celebrate and an anniversary and they were very accommodating and acknowledged our celebration. Seafood tower and the tuna poke was great. Paired well with the “Mr. Brown”. Will definitely go back next time I’m in town.
We were looking for a seafood restaurant in Baltimore Inner Harbor, & lucky for us, most of them were not open for lunch on the day that we wanted. This restaurant is very classy, has a beautiful view of the harbor & the food is delicious. I had the sesame crusted salmon, which was so good!! My husband had the crab bisque which was good, but a little salty. He also had a delicious cobb salad that was a very good size. We will definitely go there again when we return to the Harbor.
We came from out of town to celebrate a birthday and anniversary and we're recommend to the loch bar by a friend. The service was outstanding, our waitress Kenisha could not have been more friendly and the level of hustle shown by the manager was impressive. Tunde was bussing tables, delivering food and drinks and made sure to touch base with every single customer. He was constantly scanning the room making sure everything was covered and all were happy. Now the food....holy smokes!!!! We live 4.5hrs away and I would gladly drive down just to have the crab cakes again. They were absolutely out of this world. When I tell you all crab, NO filler. They are worth every single penny. The atmosphere was very cool and casual. There was a young man singing and we asked him to play our wedding song and we danced in the restaurant! This place is an absolute must if you visit the inner harbor.
Had a nice Meal here ordered the loBster roll and my date got the loch Berger both were amazing.
First time at Loch Bar. We went for brunch and the food, both presentation and taste, were very good. The ambience was absolutely perfect. I loved the views of the harbor and the indoor/outdoor dining experience was exceptional.
Great ambiance and chance to dine outdoors with friends during COVID! Our server was extremely attentive and pleasant. A little on the noisy side due to the time of the evening. It has the party vibe for sure. Fun spot!
Always wonderful experiences and meals at Loch Bar. Very accommodating making the roll-less lobster over greens, which is always delicious. Also recommend yellowfin tuna poke, modules frites & crab cakes.
Portions were a bit small for the cost but quality was high and service was outstanding from the front podium to servers and bar.
We had a fantastic business lunch outside with a very attentive and professional server, Lane. The food was fresh and delicious and we will definitely use this as our new go-to client dining spot!
We made a reservation, walked in and were greeted with a blank stare. We asked the hostess how she was doing and didn't even get a response then. Sat at the table for 20 minutes before having to tell the hostess we needed a server. Oysters were really good quality, its a shame these Atlas restaurants have fallen off in terms of sevice.
I love the atmosphere and service. My server consistently checked on my party.
Great time and excellent service
