Great time and excellent service
Excellent service and food
Great atmosphere, great food and great service.
We sat outside. Great service. Food was excellent. Menu selections, particularly entrees, seemed more limited than in the past and prices were quite high for relatively standard choices.
Had a wonderful evening. Food and ambiance was wonderful. Our server was the best ever, as was the entire staff. Our server really made the evening. The only criticism is that the website calls for a business casual attire, which we adhered to, only to see so many in shorts and summer wear. Other than that, a great evening was had by all. Would definitely recommend and return.
Overall not a bad restaurant. The table section, outside by the windows, was a bad choice. I believe the hotel above the restaurant had a pool and caused water to splash on us while we were having our dinner. Other than that, the experience was awesome and; cumulated with excellent customer service and military discounts, may the experience a memorable one. Thank you again!
Food today was less than mediocre. Usually we have good experience at loch bar but today was just not the same.
First, outstanding service by Taylor … give her a raise. Food was mostly good but I was disappointed in some of the easy items … Brussels sprouts were bland .. not enough heat, sweet or savoriness … hush puppies which are deep fried were only palatable because of the crust which may have been in the oysters which were outstanding! Entrees were all perfectly done .. lobster roll, grilled crab and cheese … and the cocktails are worth a trip by themselves .. I will be back!
Everything from beginning to end is delicious here. Amazing lobster roll done the right way!
Cesar salad was amazing just wish the bowl was cold. Ambiance is top notch, enjoyed dining right near the dock. For my entree I had the Chesapeake sandwich and it was too much to eat in one setting....the taste was amazing. Grapefruit crush with the champagne topper was so-so. Will dune again in the future
Unfortunately the menu has changed and not for the better. The old menu was great and the new menu sucks. It was also disappointing that I've been a regular customer and they ignore my seating preferences as stated clearly for 3 years on my profile. It would have been nice if the manager stopped over to check on me especially after she new I was disappointed. I asked to see her to make her aware that the menu listed in open table was not what was being offered and I selected Loch Bar for my birthday meal based on items they normally have. She was polite HOWEVER, she walked by my table four times but never asked how I was doing or made me feel concern or appreciation, although she did did speak as I was leaving. The waitress however was amazing! I've been to Loch Bar many times Unfortunately today sucked BUT the waitress was very kind!
Everything about this place was stellar: drinks, food, waitstaff!!
It was so wonderful, comfortable setting
Loch Bar has really stepped up with the food choices, quality, service. Our server, Lane was outstanding, anticipated our needs and extremely personable and knowledgeable. The only tiny criticism is that their burgers are dry.
Celebrating our 3 rd Wedding Anniversary July22,2021
On a nice day or night, sitting outside at LB can't be beat.
Happy hour with coworkers. Food always good. Outside needs more umbrellas for shade on sunny days but food and frose and always so good!
Great meal and loud as always. Great spot for business lunch or low key date.
Beautiful ambiance but the food was subpar. We went for my dads birthday, there was live music which was nice and it was a gorgeous day. However, to my surprise, the food quality was not great. Many of us ordered crab cakes, which are made very well with very little filler, however, everyone received cold to taste crab cakes-they were Luke warm at best. I also paid extra to have a Caesar salad as my side, but the lettuce was horribly soggy as if they mixed the dressing in hours ago. The Parmesan crisps on top were no longer crispy either. Several also had French fries as a side, we even ordered an extra side of fries. Sadly, everyone’s fries were cold also. I was starving so I just ate and we waited quite a while to be able to order as our server was busy when we arrived. After ordering, the four also took a while to arrive, would have been worth it if my meal was actually hot. Sad to say, this was not my first time here but definitely my second time where the food I ordered was cold. During this last visit (where the food was cold), my husband did not even get what he ordered but he was so hungry after waiting then as well that he just ate it. I must say that server was training a new female team member, who was awesome! Wish I could go back to see her but if I’m paying $52 for crab cakes, I want them to be fresh and hot. My dad got a steak that he enjoyed! That’s about it!
This used to feel like a classy treat but tonight was just blah - our server was great, but the food nothing special. Fries were luke warm and not crispy - fish over breaded and over fried. The ambiance overall didn’t feel ‘crisp’? I went to the restroom at the end of our meal and it was gross - paper everywhere, dingy - that sealed it - probably won’t be back:(
Celebrating my brother buying a home.
Excellent service and food .
The server named Mason was terrible . We saw her 3 times. Fries were freezing
I stopped in for a quick lunch and was very pleased. The steak lettuce wraps were so good and a cold glass of rose was the perfect compliment. A great meal on the patio overlooking the harbor made for a wonderful experience. I’ll be back!
I really love this place, but the happy hour should extend to the outside. Especially during a pandemic, when we are all trying to social distance. The bourbon slushy is amazing! Mussels are great too.
Loved the service! Food was great. The noise was louder than I prefer but it didn't take away from the overall good vibe
The Oysters were fresh and delish. Cool spot to dine or just have a drink.
The food is fantastic and expensive but not outrageous and worth every penny. The service is great but I wish they’d told us the kitchen was closing so we could’ve ordered dessert.
The food was prepared perfectly, and the cocktails were lovely and different. It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it.
Very cool spot right on the harbor. They have a very attractive outdoor space, though we sat inside. Very sleek indoor space with huge windows for a nice view. The raw bar prices are high (~$3.25-$4.50) but probably to be expected for the vibe. We tried 4 different oysters (mostly from VA) and all were very nice oysters, range of salinity and size.
The menu does provide a range of menu items from sandwhiches to pricey fish and steak items. We had the scallop cevice, the moules frites and the single crab cake, and all were presented very nicely and very good. It was a quiet weekday lunch, so noise was not an issue and service was friendly and prompt. We had a birthday and the brought a complimentary class of bubbly which is always thoughtfu.
Nice cocktail and wines by the glass list. A nice change from some of the stodgy and chain places that used to be the only choices around the inner harbor. We'd definitley visit again!
Great experience, friendly staff. Our server (Elaine, maybe?) was amazing!
We ordered the seafood tower which was $175. We were super excited for the meal but the way the oysters were shocked, they were not removed from the shell and there were a lot of shell pieces with the oyster. Our waitress apparently was extremely busy because we only saw her twice during our whole entire meal. The two managers were the ones that saved our dining experience.
Took over 45 minutes to seat us
My husband and I went for our anniversary. The service was great but the food was just ok. I had the salmon wrap and he had the burger. His burger came out overcooked. My wrap was good.
The Cobb salad is the best in the city and there’s no better place for fish. Awesome experience. A little noisy.
I took my niece and nephew to their first official “fine dining” experience and they had an amazing time
Excellent drinks, food and service with a great view!
Went on a Friday night with reservations and got seated right away. Sat outside great place to people watch and nice view. Service was excellent manager came by multiple times to check on us and sent champagne when he found out it was our anniversary. My wife had the crab cakes they were delicious I had the lobster roll which was a little dry but still very good. Decent drink selections Nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend
The female manager was extremely rude and nasty to us. Treat people with respect.
