Friend’s birthday brunch— food and atmosphere were fantastic!
It was a great brunch experience. No crazy long buffet lines, very clean and attentive staff. Food was in point. Great options for vegan, keto and plant based diets. Definitely will come back.
This was our first time at Local Three. It was fantastic. Our server, Dymon, was terrific. She made great recommendations. Everyone In our party of 6 was very pleased with everything we ordered. I highly recommend Local Three.
The food and service were both great and we thoroughly enjoyed our fist visit! The brisket stroganoff and the trout were both A+!
The service was excellent, the staff friendly, and the food was very good. A good place for a business lunch but can be a little noisy.
I’ve been to Local Three many times and greatly enjoyed it. Our dinner last night though was just not very good. The service was still wonderful, but their BBQ menu was disappointing. All 7 of us got something different and only 1 person enjoyed their meal. Everything else was average at best. For the price, it wasn’t worth it. I think I’ll stick to brunch here.
I enjoyed Local Three. The food was great. The service was excellent. The staff were very attentive and courteous and I felt they went above and beyond. It is a place that I would recommend.
This was our second time at Local Three. We loved it before and just as much this time. The cheese tasting is wonderful and I highly recommend it. They have a fun theme of Coming to America right now and the menu and cocktail names reflect this. This is a great place for a date night.
Local Three is our favorite go-to restaurant. Super cozy, welcoming service, food is always on point and different. A guaranteed relaxed evening that won’t disappoint.
Great brunch, except for charging $3 extra for hot tea!! Coffee, iced tea, and soft drinks are included in the brunch price. Why discriminate against hot tea drinkers?!
I had eaten at Local Three before, liked it enough to return, and found it an attractive restaurant in good proximity to the Atlanta opera. This time, I regret to say, the food was mediocre at best, the overall experience was not one I would aspire to repeat.
When we lived in midtown, we dined at Local Three for dinner or brunch at least 3 times a month. We moved away and haven't been back in almost a year. Our dinner was just as good as any other time. Our server was attentive without hovering. It was early on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was fairly busy so the sound level was pretty high. Overall, an excellent dining experience for my wife and I and our guests.
Service was extremely slow and dinner did not come out as expected; however management did compensate us for our meal.
Challenging to find the restaurant. Some more signage would be helpful. Once I found it, it was very cute. Great vibe. Food was ok.
Lived the vibe!
Outstanding food and service
We have been back many times and have yet to have a bad experience. Setting isn't formal. Food is the absolute highlight. Service is always very good. Highlight was Schnitzel. Low mark was fries (meh). We will go back and we often recommend
Local Three is always wonderful and I am never disappointed!
Great atmosphere quality food
The food is really good and the staff is very friendly.
I usually like L3, but did not enjoy my most recent experience. A bug crawled across our table while we were eating and gnats were flying around us.
Everything we had was great. ATL cheese steak was messy but good. Tacos we're good and the hot catfish was great in my book, as we're the fries and brussel sprouts. Definitely a great lunch spot
Sunday brunch. Food was sitting under heat lamps getting dry. Unappetizing. Not enough healthy fresh choices.
When we arrived, exactly on time for our reservation, the restaurant was practically empty. So, it was difficult to understand why the hostess made us wait so long while she was entering a whole bunch of stuff onto her iPad. The wait was just long enough to get us annoyed. Then, without asking for our preferences, she assigned us to a high top, which we definitely do not prefer. Fortunately, everything after we were seated at a standard table went perfect. The food and the beverages we chose were simply great. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Overall, with the sole exception of the minor hitch at the beginning, we were very pleased with our dining experience.
Love this place! Everything is always delicious and the service is always wonderful but I think the brunch buffet might be my favorite because I have so much trouble deciding what to order! This way I get to try everything and of course I did! Brought three friends who had never been to Local Three and didn’t have to worry about “overselling!” They were all very impressed!
Food, atmosphere, and staff are all incredible!
One of the best, if not the best, brunch in Atlanta. So much fun walking “down the line” filling your plate while you talk to the professionals that cooked the dishes. Love the sense of humor in the kitchen and the music!
Fantastic restaurant with great vibe, wonderful outdoor patio, great service, and superb, creative food. Always a pleasure to dine here - it's my GO TO place! (FYI, I ate here three days in a row!)
The food wasn’t as spectacular as advertised. Burgers came out dry as did the fries. May have been under the lamp too long. The drinks were okay. I do have to commend the Brussel sprouts - they were amazing. Will try the place again - can’t discredit after just one visit
Everything at Local 3 is perfect except the lighting, which is horrible, we all felt like we were eating under spotlights (and all other tables, excluding the bar area, had the same out-of-balance light)
I ordered the trout. When the waiter served me, I was stunned by the size of the piece of trout on top of the greens. It was so small, I looked around for the candid camera. The waiter never came back to ask me how the food was, and when he removed my plate, he didn't ask if I had enjoyed it. I was prepared to question him about the portion size but just let it go when he never asked.
The truth is, the flavor of what little fish there was, was superb. The greens were particularly fresh and delightful. But I'm a small eater, and I actually left there hungry. That's never happened in my life before.
Menu was confusing. Employees were very nice and knowledgeable.
Great food and drinks.
We visited for Saturday brunch all you can eat. No chicken, no beef, no seafood. Only shrimp fried rice and bacon. The food was good but over priced. Service was good.
Unfortunately, I find myself writing a bad review of a previously favorite local restaurant. It took 30 minutes after being seated to finally get our waiters attention and ask to place a drink order. We had had plenty of time to peruse the menu by that point, so put in our entire order. About 15 minutes later, my glass of rose came and it was warm. The Caprese salad was delicious, but although we had ordered it to be shared by 2 of us, we had to ask for (and wait for) share plates. I thought we might be on course to salvage the evening, but then came the king crab Cacio E Pepe, which tasted purely of salt. The dishes were cleared along with our silverware after that course, and when our mains arrived, we had to call the server back to ask for something to eat it with. The scallops were good, but all in all the terrible service spoiled our evening. Ignored, neglected..these are the words that come to mind about our service. What happened to you Local Three?
Service was great for drinks and appetizers and then dropped off a cliff when we ordered dinner. Waited over an hour for our meal with servers continuing to tell us “five more minutes”. Food was excellent and worth going to check out but just know you may be waiting a while for it to make it to your table.
I eat at Local Three with regularity. It's a phenomenal restaurant and Atlanta is luck to have it! Great for a special night out as well as business lunch meeting, and everything in between. Highly recommend.
Disappointed my fav brunch spot is now average.
The Local 3 was a great place to meet as a family to celebrate two birthdays: Great food, more good entrees to choose from than one could ever eat; quiet, friendly service with a happy birthday treat when they figured out what we were celebrating. Makes one want to have more than one birthday per year!
My family loves Local Three. On this particular occasion, the food took a really long time. Hoping it is a one time thing.
My best friend and I visited for our bimonthly meetup and we are glad we did! The service was impeccable and the food was pretty darn good. Despite the heaters, my friend had the shrimp that was a you could tell had been sitting for a while as it was chewy and the temperature was off. The noise was tolerable but may have been better if we hadn't been seated right behind another table considering most of the dining area was empty. Overall, a great experience and we will try again.
