   This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Mother’s Day buffet. The food offered was disgusting, there was no fresh fruit, nothing was fresh. The macaroons were all smashed & crumbly. The chicken was dry, the oysters smelled off and the service was an absolute joke. We spent $800, we could have had a better experience at a Dennys - it was awful. On top of everything we had to move 3 times because they couldn’t give us a table for 8… I even had to move chairs myself because they were unbalanced & tippy. We had to ask multiple times to put in a drink order, and there was a live musician playing yacht rock so loud you couldn’t have a conversation.

   I would not go there again on an event like Mother's Day. Overpriced and the food was not very good or fresh. Ambience was pleasant, though.

   Impressed by the server’s experience. He was able to assist us and still take care of the bar. He was the only one as this is a restaurant inside a hotel. Because of sever’s great service I would go back.

   Server informed as as she presented the check that there was a service charge " due to the holiday" but I probably already knew from making reservation. I showed her my reservation info on open table, that it did Not Disclose this charge. It was an additional $35.00 on top of the $179.00 that Open Table said it would be...Plus 20% tax. So my $179.00 dinner turned into $255.00. Mind you this was a Thanksgiving Buffet. It was very small an definitely didn't eat what I paid for. Poor form for not having this information on Open Table app when making the reservation.

   Overall I thought that the Thanksgiving buffet was overpriced compared with others I've had in the past both due to lack of variety/overall size and the fact that the desserts did not appear to be homemade. Several items were very good (shrimp cocktail, turkey, gravy, ham, mashed potatoes). The soup was very good but barely warm and almost instantly cool by the time we walked to our table. Salads were standard although the dressing was very good. Yams were good. Stuffing was very sweet and the cranberry dressing was very tart and almost acidic. String beans were good. Oysters replaced crab (which I understand why but do not care for oysters). Desserts were varied but subpar. Overall, I thought the meal was worthy of a $59-$69 meal but certainly not $89 or over $100 with tax and tip. The food was decent but not stellar for that price.

   We attended the Thanksgiving buffet. The quality of the food was good but it was limited with regards to the options. It was a bit overpriced and with hidden charges (service charge)

   Call experience wasn’t good overpriced for $100 in person. The food was salty. The soup was cold and pastries were not even made on the premises.

   The hype: Inspired by Local and Chic California Cuisine and Drinks We loved the food especially since were share some of the dishes so that we could try many things on meniu. My favorite was the salmon. Every dish was amazing. Fresh and flavorful. The drink menu had fun drinks. My friend had one of the mocktails and loved it. The staff was the epitome of customer service. It was fun hearing about items that they loved. Every item on the menu was amazing. Don't forget! Get a dessert.
