Interesting menu, food was very good with some lovely sauces. Service was excellent and very well paced. Room was a little noisy but this mainly due to one group of diners

Had a fantastic evening at Lobster. We started with the prawn oil pil and black pudding bon bons—both packed with flavor and presented beautifully. The black pudding bon bons in particular were a standout. For the main course, we shared the Wagyu steak for two. It was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Definitely the highlight of the night. Desserts didn’t disappoint either. The chocolate mousse and tarte tatin were both delicious with just the right portion sizes—rich but not too heavy. Only downside? The music was too loud. In a buzzing, full restaurant with great natural atmosphere, the volume just felt unnecessary and made it hard to have a conversation. Still despite this, I’d highly recommend Lobster for the food and overall experience!

A great location, nestled in among other bars and restaurants but clearly has carved a niche for itself. It appeared to me that many of the patrons were regulars. The service is really good without being overbearing in any way. The food is really good, portion size is certainly very adequate as the items are quite filling. The items are flavourful and well presented. They also have a very competent wine with some excellent "by the glass" options available. Make a reservation and you will not be disappointed.

Small restaurant meant it was hard to get a quiet table. The seat was a bit uncomfortable for me but the service was great & food was delicious. Had the Early bird 2 course. Hubby had the prawn pil pil which was fantastic. It came with bread and an amazing homemade tangy butter. Then the mussels with fries. I had the Lobster roll and it was lovely but expensive! It wasn’t as filling as I had anticipated so I had room for dessert, a gorgeous chocolate mousse. An enjoyable experience and we would recommend for a date night!

First visit to Lobstar having read a good review in the independent newspaper. It exceeded our expectations. Lovely food expert filleting of the black sole at our table by Veronika. We will be back for sure.

SUPERB.,.the only way I could describe the evening I had the lobster honestly THEE BEST I've ever had anywhere my friends had other dishes raved about them. Find this place but book well in advance if you can only about 12 tables and they close at 9.30 although they don't rush you out the door....ENJOY A
