Try The Lobby - ambiance was perfect for an evening meal. Our server Kingsley was very attentive and gave great suggestions on our drinks, appetizers and meal selections. The live music topped off the evening. Definitely recommend a stop in for dinner or drinks at the trendy bar.
Food was great and drink nakd were delicious , but the service was slow for being almost empty. Drinks were served half way into food; waiters didn’t seem to know the ingredients in the dishes and the food was served not in a timely manner. Ambiance is always nice right in the middle of palm beach.
During COVID this is hard to write about. My wife and I shared 2 appetizer, the ceviche (which was great) needed more plantain chips which they gave us when we requested and the lobster croquettes which was also wonderful. For dinner I had the brazed pork shank which was also great, meat fell of the bone, and my wife had the risotto which she loved. Would loved to be back to view live music they have at 10:30 at night.
The service here is very good. We loves our waiter I think his name was Winston or something close to that. So attentive and polite. The food was good. Not exceptional but decent. Loved the stuffed mushrooms. Risotto was okay not what I’m used to. It was more like a creamed rice than a risotto. The chicken was a little well done. Not a fan of dry tasting meat. Overall decent for the money. Definitely a great place for drinks I would say.
I don’t know why this place isn’t always packed. The drinks and the food are amazing. The service is wonderful.
Service was great, food was average. We were there when restaurant first opened and thought it was better.
Two out of four of us liked our meals. Go for the ribs or burgers. Skip the risotto. Not very tasty and virtually nin-existent teeny lobster morsels. Take a pass on the ravioli appetizer as well. This is our second time there but there are so many other restaurants that don’t skimp on ingredients and this is the second time we’ve eaten there where this has happened. Can’t do that if you want repeat customers.
Louis was amazing. Host was amazing. Food was delicious. Drinks were great!
Lobster croquettes were amazing! The octopus leg was a very spicy but very good if you like spice (I do). Service was excellent!
First visit here after some mixed recommendations from folks. My expectations were high as there are many exceptional restaurants in Aruba. We started with the pork belly and the lobster croquettes. The pork belly was tasty but a bit dried out because of the quarter inch thickness. It would have been much better had the chef used thicker slices or chunks. The croquettes were a bit greasy with a puréed consistency inside - not what I expected. We moved to the tenderloin entree which was not as tender as it should have been. It was served with a peppercorn sauce which was very salty and the ratatouille tasted more like stewed vegetable slices. The gratin potato was tasty with a hint of truffle. We also had the grilled tuna which was served with a nice risotto - overall good. The highlight of the mean was the smoked bourbon old fashioned made with Buffalo Trace and presented under a smoky glass dome - real nice touch. The service was good and the aioli served with rolls was good.
The overall experience was ok but again there are so many better restaurants on the island to choose from.
Food was good but is a bit overpriced. Drinks are expensive. Location and atmosphere is really cool and the bars and hotels are nearby. Waitress was terrible. I think she said maybe two words.
Delicious and beautiful presentation… we shared a few appetizers and split and entree so we can taste a few options- everything was wonderful
Short ribs were not available. I had to order a hamburger which I ordered rare, but it came medium and was very cold. I got sick on the food.
This was our first time at The Lobby. I ordered escargot for an appetizer and it was outstanding. My fish was also very good. My husband ordered octopus and also said it was very good. We sat outside which can be a little noisy but was also very entertaining. Our server was also very knowledgeable on the menu. He checked on us to make sure everything was good. I would highly recommend the Lobby Restaurant.
Great ambience, food, appetizers and wine. If you’re looking to eat great food with music in the background, then Lobby is the place for you.
We had a fantastic meal at Lobby! This is probably Aruba’s best kept secret in dining right now! Everything we ordered - from our appetizers: tuna tartare, stuffed mushrooms, soup, pork belly, and lobster croquetas, to main courses like the red snapper and chef’s burger, to our desserts: apple crumble and creme brûlée, were incredible! The cocktail menu is one of a kind and they even do specialty shots and dessert cocktails. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the island - especially returning guests that have tried all the classics. This will be such a great addition to your list!
Excellent food and awful service.
We were set immediately but waited a long to get somebody’s attention and get the kids menu we asked for. Could not get the wine list for more then half an hour. Got the food, it was delicious. But still could not get anybody’s attention to get the wine…. We were almost done with food when waiter came to get the wine list from our table to pass to other table. Otherwise nobody would even come to us… A lot of service people inside but very difficult to get somebody’s attention. Never seen something like that..
Delicious food, great atmosphere and great drinks!!!
Family of ten, service was great as usual, food delicious!! Give this place a chance you won’t regret it
Sfeervolle plek, heerlijk eten en drinken. Buiten gezeten!
Aanrader voor stellen familie of groep vrienden. Niet echt voor de kleintjes ivm muziek en geluid buiten.
Went here with family of 6....we are all foodies....all members of my family said "hands down, this is one of the best meals of their life". We had apps, dinner, and dessert...cannot say enough about this restaurant. Delicious from first bite....way better than many of the other restaurants on the strip.
Overall they are attempting to provide good value and food. The kitchen did have difficulty with specific dietary restrictions first go around but they did remake the food.
Great location to watch people walking up and down the shopping area. We thought so many of the appetizers sounded really good so we made a dinner out of a few of them and then split an Entrée. We decided the bread was a good start, then the crab bisque, which was fantastic. We decided to move onto the tuna tartare, and ceviche. The tuna was just ok, the Ceviche, however, was outstanding. Next, we split the lobster risotto, and were not disappointed in that choice. We ended the night with the Apple crumble which was out of this world!! If you have a free evening, you definitely wanna give this place a try!
I definitely recommend this as a go-to spot when you’re in Aruba!
Not so good experience and service. Food was mediocre.
Good food. Service haphazard. Nice music great decor.
The food was excellent, but the waiter was trying to take care of every table in the restaurant by himself. Would have loved to see more people taking orders and helping him!
We had an outstanding dinner at The Lobby. We had been before 2 years ago and liked it but this time was even better. The smoked Old Fashioned special drink was quite the show and very delicious. The stuffed mushroom and pork belly appetizers were fantastic. The lobster risotto special was beautiful with the bright red crawdad decoration but it was equally creamy and tasty. Our waiter was very attentive. We enjoyed the experience and will return again!
Food was great lobster bisque amazing as well as stuffed mushrooms. Fruit de mare and crispy sea bass above average. Service great and nice atmosphere a must try in Aruba.
Great for last minute late night dinner. Very good food. We have always been pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food is. Presentation is great as well. Lively spot right on the palm beach strip. It is a fun spot to eat good food at.
The food was spectacular. Thanks
Food and service were absolutely great. The chef is talented and the bartender is an artist- wonderful meal all around.
The service and food was very very bad. Sat at our table and order once we sat down since we reviewed the menu before getting there. We noticed that there were just 4 table being used at the time. It took over one hour to receive our meal. the fish was very dried and the pork was over cooked and tasted like they dropped it in dirt.
Great service, great food, very cool interior design.
Great somewhat expensive place right across from our Hilton Resort. Great food but average outdoor ambiance.
The food in the place was decent. I don't remember anything that was outstanding, but I do remember that it wasn't bad...lol. The server did a good job and was attentive to my party. We enjoyed the vibe and the outdoor dining experience. Good spot.
The Food was Amazing!!!! Will go back for sure!
We watched The Lobby as it was under construction a few years back. I always liked the ambiance from the outside, so on our first trip back to Aruba post Covid, I knew we had to go. We were given the option of outside or inside dining and we chose inside for the air conditioning. The tables are gorgeous, carved out of wood and the bar is also beautiful. We were immediately served and enjoyed a slightly expensive but delicious apricot cosmo. The menu is quite extensive offers something for everyone. Appetizer of tuna tatake was almost too pretty to eat and equally delicious. We were both in the mood for a burger, and they came out perfectly done with really hot french fries. I’d like to go back to try the other interesting items on their menu. Our server was very attentive and the manager came over several times to check on us. Bathrooms were very clean. Other than the price of my Cosmo and their specialty drinks, we felt their menu was reasonably priced. We will definitely go back and we highly recommend!
If you are vegetarian, look elsewhere for a more varied menu. I had appetizers for dinner. They were good, but I should have studied the menu beforehand.
Place was nice but food was cold. Manager came over here and shrugged his shoulders about our cold food.
