It was a quiet Sunday evening and we enjoyed the ambience. The waitstaff were extremely respectful as well, and responded to all our questions with care. As vegetarians, the limited options disappointed us, but we did enjoy the chickpea fries and Asian-style cauliflower.
The food was delicious and had a very nice presentation. Our server was very friendly. However, I was disappointed with the limited, 1-page menu in the lobby lounge (I was told to scan a barcode to see this menu). When I reserved a table on open table, the same page on the site showed the breakfast and full day menu (which was not offered to me even when I asked). So my friend and I ordered what we could. But then, we saw that some customers in the lobby lounge were able to order the breakfast menu. Despite the excellent food, I was very disappointed with this experience. I’ve been here for afternoon tea a few times in the past with no problems. But this particular visit left me quite disappointed.
The lobby was pretty hot so it was a bit uncomfortable near the end but otherwise everything was great. Our server was wonderful

It would've been a much better experience if the lobby had air conditioning, it was so hot and my clients and I were sweating.

I called the day before to request a table, not a couch. My girlfriend is about to give birth so a couch would make it hard for her to reach her food.
The day of, we showed up a little bit earlier and got sat in the lobby on a couch. I asked the server if we could move but she said there were no tables available. More than 10 minutes passed and finally we were offered water and ordered coffee. It took the server again a long time to take our order only after I flagged down the host. 30 min after being sat we had not ordered. I was embarrassed to have raved about this place to be left forgotten in a corner. I brought my mother in law here for her wedding anniversary, my mom and sisters for Christmas brunch and I’ve never been so let down as I was yesterday. I was not given ketchup and salt and pepper for my breakfast, I had half my Benny breakfast and was so unimpressed at the service that was no longer hungry. I had to ask twice for my bill. When I called I specifically requested the bill to be given to me. This was not the case. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment.

Love the vibe here. I can’t stress this enough if you go there I hope you’re lucky enough to have Angela as your server. She honestly is exceptional when it comes to customer experience.
Live music last night was excellent. Too bad it ended at 1030p. Great ambience. Place was hot though. That was the only issue really. We will be back for sure.
If you plan on going here ask for Angela to be your server. She is honestly the best and enhances the customer experience. My friends and I go here regularly and the only person we want serving us is Angela. The two times we’ve had other servers it was a terrible service. She is the only reason we go back.

Food and service was awesome. Felt a little cramped on the upper deck of patio. Narrow walkway and a little close to other guests.
It was my first time there and will definitely be going back. There is nothing bad I can say about it.
Was BEAUTIFUL loved their patio space and they utilized it wonderfully. The service although made the experience less appealing. Although our server was wonderful it seemed as if she was covering the entire patio which was kind of hard to find her and communicate anything. The drinks tasted great, and the little food we got was decent as well. I must say the creme brulee was great and the fresh fruit made it even better. I’ll be returning if the service aspect improves
We were seated at the tables that were set up on the sidewalk - completely cut off from the rest of the patio. These tables felt like they were an after thought - set up in an effort to be able to seat more people, however it made for a very boring and sour experience. We did not get to experience any of the ambiance or music or high end experience of the actual restaurant and it felt like we were just sitting next to a busy sidewalk and street that could have been anywhere. The reason Shangri-La can charge the prices they charge is because of the high end experience they are supposed to offer. We unfortunately felt ripped off and shoved off to a corner. When you charge your customers 25- 40 $$ per cocktail- you better be providing them with the same experience everyone is getting, otherwise it is just an outrageously priced drink.
Our dinner date here was great! Chris our server was fantastic and even surprised us with an anniversary desert on the house. The food was tasty and service was prompt. The chef even came by and asked us if we needed anything else. Great experience from the beginning with the warm greetings to the end with smiles.

We had a very nice meal with wine, the outdoor setup was very pretty and elegant. The prices are on the high side, but the atmosphere is worth it. A great place for a special evening.
This was really disappointing experience from terrible service (the waiter didn’t come to our table for 20 min, brought the wrong wine twice, rushed us out and brought us the wrong bill) to sub par food. The Shangri-la is one of my favourite spots, but I can’t see myself going back anytime soon. BTW I don’t write reviews but this was noteworthy worst dining experience in the past five years!!

The service was superb. Our waiter Alfie was very helpful and attentive. Although we had to sit at the end of their patio which I thought would give us slow service, nope! Alfie was always just around the corner. Our rib eye wasn’t made right but Alfie took care of that. They really care about customer service here and it shows.
Came here on a Sunday. It's on street level so it was very breezy. Service was impeccable as to be expected from the Shangri-La staff. Food was fresh and delicious. Hotel was quiet otherwise during the closures so felt very intimate. Would go again for brunch.
Great time good food quick service
Paulina made a special effort to ensure I was able to secure a table in the covered section of their restaurant so the birthday party scheduled could still happen. Upon arrival every server made an effort to wish my guest a happy birthday and the service was amazing! Definitely recommend and will return.

Went on a rainy afternoon for brunch and drinks. Cocktails, though expensive, are very impressive and creative. The food was well portioned for the pricing as well and service was phenomenal. We can’t wait to come back!

Had a great time on the outside patio area. Really enjoyed the Fogo Island shrimp and the wine selection. Only thing I wished they had was port.
