Lobby Bar & Grill - Pechanga Resort & Casino
Chef Jose Mendoza created a classic menu that combines items grown in the rich Temecula Valley with international flavors found in dishes throughout the world. The inspiring menu features American dishes with worldly influences and seamlessly extends to the numerous vegetarian and vegan dishes available. The Lobby Bar & Grill’s atrium location is the perfect meeting place for any occasion and its coffee bar and dessert specialties from Pechanga’s in-house bakery complete a satisfying dining experience.
The restaurant is in the lobby of Pechanga new hotel. Lots of people and a bit noisy, but food and service very good. Convenient place to eat & have drinks before a show that’s not as smokey as the casino eateries. Our waiter Brandon was especially attentive & knows the menu very well.
Over priced breakfast. Food was only average.
We ordered the Mexican Meatballs and they were so spicy it was not worth finishing. The butternut squash was good, as was the pretzel. About four minutes after the appetizers were brought out, they brought out the main course. We had to send them back. The combo hamburger/mushroom was awful; unless you want an overly powerful mushroom taste, and the Beef Tips sandwich was dry and horrible tasting; I asked for no horseradish sauce and it was definitely mixed in. Just awful. One of the worst meals out in a long time. Then they even brought us the wrong check.
Excellent service, great food, excellent bar!
I had the Psycho-Burger! Almost more food than I could eat! Excellent Calamari for appetizer
A nice respite from the hub bub of the casino.
We me friends before a show. It took FOREVER to find us a person willing to serve us. So much time that the show-goers had to leave after just soup. The others stayed and ordered food. The steak and the 1/2 chicken was excellent - couldn’t have been better. Then (9Pm) came the dueling pianos! So loud and obnoxious we couldn’t understand a word the other one was saying. We also noticed another large dinner party being highly annoyed by the noise. We left immediately even though we would have loved to stay a while longer. Why is there no manager, that would read the room and adjust the noise level accordingly? - Anyway.......
Great addition to Pechanga. Nice ambiance, really good food. (my husband had the shrimp and grits and he would have like a bigger portion. Plenty of shrimp-not nearly enough grits, but delicious) The pasta was delicious as well. We will be back.
As the name states, it right in the lobby. Not a bad location, but on a concert night a lot of people around. We sat at the booths closest to the lobby, nice location, you can see everything. My issue was with the booth itself, the table was too high for the seats. I felt like a little kid trying to reach the table when eating. And the table was a bit too small. I could not imagine you could seat more than two people at these booths. The food and service were excellent. The atmosphere was festive and loud. There was a singer in the bar playing live music that was great.
The ambience is beautiful and my appetizer was delicious (Fried Green Tomatoes w/burrata) but my entree of dayboat scallops was such a huge disappointment! They were totally over cooked and tasted like rubber. Just awful for an expensive meal. No one asked me if my meal was to my satisfaction ever. Not returning.
I was very impressed with the food and service at The Lobby Bar and Grill. We stayed at Pechanga for my husband’s birthday and had dinner at the Lobby Bar and Grill. We started with the calamari appetizer. It was perfectly made and had a delicious sauce drizzled on the top. The also brought a basket of warm bread and butter that was delicious while we waited for our food. My husband had the hanger steak and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare and served with garlic butter on top (they had four different choices of toppings). I had the scallops and they were divine. They were served on a bed of sautéed greens with crisp prosciutto. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in a restaurant. For dessert, they brought my hubby a birthday ice cream, but he also ordered their salted caramel sundae. It was delicious. Our server, Elexa, was attentive and knowledgeable. Also, they have a happy hour menu and my husband’s sculpin IPA was only $5. I highly recommend!
The food was excellent! The service was great, we went early and a show later, it was nice, we will go again for sure!
Birthday dinner for mom.
We went out for my birthday dinner Saturday night and the service was horrible. 3 people at the table ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and they brought out a chicken leg. We had to wait 25 minutes for their food and weren’t even comped for it. The waitress come to the table once to ask if we needed drinks. I had to get up and order from the bar and ask another waitress to help. Bad experience and bad birthday dinner
First of all, this was a dinner/entertainment package, so I don't expect their best food and I know I didn't have the full menu to order from. Still, the food was very good, the service was excellent and it was a nice evening. I suspect going there for dinner alone would be even better.
Having a gluten allergy makes going out to eat very difficult. The staff here were very informed on how to make sure the food is not cross contaminated and safe for me to eat. It was a wonderful stress free experience with delicious options!
This a new, classy restaurant located near lobby desk. Food and ambience was very nice and the live music Friday kept us there longer than we anticipated. Great for gatherings, bar scene and gatherings.
Met up with another couple for causal dining. The food and wine selections are excellent. We had the comedy special, three course dinner with comedy ticket included. The service was phenomenal, and the comedy show was good as well. Looking forward to another dinner in the near future.
Excellent service - attentive and helpful - made sure we had our bill well before our show time. Hummus was delicious!!!! Can't wait to come back next time
We were very disappointed in our experience at the Lobby Bar and grill.
The menu was very limited. I can't understand why they even have this place. We have been to all of the eateries at Pechanga and they have been great, not this one.
The topper was we were informed that we would have to leave at 9:00P, because they were clearing the room and setting for another venue. It was 8:45P when we were informed.
The high was our server, Brandon.
From the moment we walked into the Lobby Bar & Grill we were welcomed, we were seated almost immediately (went to the bar first) where we wanted to be seated.
The food was very good no complaints, the bartender, waiter & other employees we came into contact with very professional & friendly. It was Thanksgiving.
My fiancé and I did the dinner and a laugh menu and show, and I have to say we had a great night at a great price.

This was our second time eating here and the food and service was outstanding. Our Waiter Brenden was the best. It is a great restaurant to eat in when visiting Pechanga.
Thank you for your visit and review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your visit and will ensure Brandon gets recognized for his outstanding service. We hope to see you again soon.
Excellent Sunday brunch.
Dustin, thank you for joining us for brunch! We're glad you had a great time. See you next Sunday!
I have to say the food was amazing, but the service from our server Brandon stole the show. He showed the service value of care and took care of us and all of our needs. Service is everything and he delivered top to bottom. Would recommend this place to anyone.
The waitress made our visit. Good food, wine. Not huge on ambiance, but very acceptable food.
Great brunch service. Splurged a little compared to the buffet; worth it IMHO.
This was our first time at the Lobby Bar & Grill — and it will definitely not be our last as we expect to dine here again and again. The food is fantastic, the ambiance is lovely, and the service was great!
We started off with the most interesting Caesar salad which was quite delicious! If you think popcorn and Parmesan is an odd combo...well, it is...but it was fabulous! Try it for yourself.
My husband and I enjoyed the Hangar Steak & Frites. The steak was prepared to perfection and served with piping hot seasoned fries. We were both in awe that the chef took a relatively tougher cut of meat and worked some sort of magic. It was so tasty, tender and seasoned perfectly.
Our friends shared the cream of mushroom soup, scallops, bone marrow toast, and the beef tartare. They said everything was excellent.
We will dine with you again soon!
Great place to meet with friends before a concert event or even a date night. It has lots of potentials, as I'm sure they are still working out all the details with just recently opening. Here's my takeaway at the moment.
The location is far enough from the main casino floor so there's not a lot of the casino gaming traffic. Easy to get to and easy to leave from. Love the decor and the vibe it brings.
Most of the items on the menu were good, priced and presented well. However, the Chicken Milanese & Frites and Steak & Frites could use improvement in the presentation. Both items looked as if we were at a diner, the main entree slapped with french fries on the side and didn't reflect the trendy restaurant atmosphere with the white tablecloth linens. I wish I had taken a picture of it as an example.
We were well attended to - excellent service. Our waiter could use some help in his presentation skills and convey the menu in such a way to sway us that every item on the menu is great. So, I think with a bit of improving his speaking abilities, that would help convince his audience that they picked wisely when dining out.
Again, great place and we will definitely go back regardless of these things I pointed out. In time, only improvements can make this place even better.
Good food, but the setting is more like a casual lunch place then a nice dinner experience. Very small wine list, however the food was very good
Good food and great service
Food was very good, good service
Everyone from the Managers, host, servers and Chef Jose were very welcoming. My family and I enjoyed our dishes: Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, Short rib omelette, and All American. Next time we will come in for lunch and dinner.
