Our waitress is about 9 months pregnant and shouldn’t be on her feet. The service was awful, slow and not friendly. Chicken on 2 of our salads were pink. Sent back and came back still pink. Didn’t eat it. Took an hour. Slow slow slow with maybe 10 other customers. They were not busy.
The ambience of Allora was beautiful, but my pasta was lacking a tiny bit in flavor. I added more parmesan than usual to introduce a tangy, tart contrast to the dish.
Service was good but turned into a nightclub at night. If you want a quiet meal go early.
I was very disappointed by the food here. They recently changed their executive chef and so did the menu. The new menu is unimaginative to say the least. I had to return my food which was the fecctucine. The major issue was there was a strange aftertaste that left a bad taste in your mouth. They charged 2.5 per additional prawn, and I was told they were large prawn. When the food came, I saw two little sad shrimps in my food and turned out it tasted frozen. The service is amazing. But I would not order food there again unless they offer the standard and the quality they once had.
Allora is an amazing restaurant in the Atlantic Station district. We were seated immediately with a party of 10 and was given service right away. Vanessa our waitress was amazing, knew the menu and had outstanding customer service skills. Vanessa is a great representation for the Allora brand and had such a positive spirit. The managers were on the floor checking in with customers and making sure all was smooth. Amazing experience for my family and we will definitely be back.
Vanessa was our waitress.she was very attentive and thoughtful. The new chef came to our table and thanked us for coming out.Great place!
Very nice place. It was fairly empty which I found unusual but the ambiance was wonderful. Feels like a more expensive locale. Shared meatballs and risotto both of which were quite tasty.
Food was great. Waiters and the people were very much alive and great.
At first seating everything felt off. One of my friends had to get up to retrieve a water carafe after asking the waitress for water. The Dj played ok music but way too loud for dinner.
Pasta on my lasagna was not done. There were little to no sauce causing the dish to be very dry. Atmosphere was great though. Wish the food was better
Allora is a great restaurant in a convenient location to all things in Atlantic Station. We ate there before a concert and it was easy to park and head over. I highly suggest it!
Nice restaurant. Very good service and atmosphere. Food was solid, but not spectacular. Would good again.
Restaurant is cold inside but otherwise great
The server was on point!
Waitress wasn't familiar with the menu or the brand names of commonly ordered beverages
The issue with this restaurant this Winter is that the large windows don't block the cold sufficiently and the hotel doesn't compensate by increasing the heat. It was so cold in there when we arrived that we had to keep overcoats on. When that proved to be too cold we got reseated near the pizza ovens. A nightmare for the waitstaff. Management needs to address the issue pronto. Word of mouth will be brutal.
Ordered the grilled mahi-mahi...was fishy as heck and smothered in salt. The service was ok, but fish was so bad that we wouldn’t go back or recommend this restaurant to any friends or family.
Service was excellent. Wine was excellent. Food was mediocre. The grilled octopus was soggy and our food was covered in pepper “for flavor”. Not even close to real Italian.
They didn’t know about the promotion they had going on with my credit card so had to show them and they didn’t seem to like that. But our waiter (different person) was very good and accommodating. The food was just OK. Pretty bland pastas. But overall worth the money I paid with my credit card deal. Without It, I don’t know if it would be worth it.
Good Services from workers and food taste good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Service needs to be improved. Good place to hang out for a drink or casual type dinner. Ambiance is good, service fair, and food is very good. Waitstaff seems very disorganized and it is very loud in the restaurant.
When we arrived we asked to be away from the bar which wasn’t very full but was very loud. We sat one table away from the bar and were given water and menus. Menu was much shorter than what was online so we lost some excitement. Then after waiting 20 minutes without anyone even looking our direction let alone take our drink order, we left. Pig and Pearl down the street was much more accommodating.
Server was pleasant but did not seem to be trained very well , place was empty on a Friday night, food average at best.
Our server was brand new and did not know simple things like bringing a giant bottle of sparkling water for one person not bringing bread place with the bread.
The bread they brought out which they charge a dollar per person was cold lackluster and in a bag like they got it from some store that morning.
Shrimp pasta dish I had was decent even know the half portion ahead for shrimp sauce is good the pasta was good
Definitely does not live up to hype as a classy restaurant
I have dined here before but tonight I brought my family back for my husband’s birthday. We had a great meal with great service. I highly recommend the lamb shank and the mushroom toast.
It was spectacular, even though my night didn’t go as planned . My waiter made it the best . Thank you
We never got the salad we ordered and there was not a lot of food options. They charged $4.50 for one small meatball in my spaghetti. Not going back.
We were thankful to have Open Table to find this restaurant as all the Lincoln Station restaurants were full up with long wait times. This restaurant is in the 12 Hotel lobby. We enjoyed the place- I guess service was slow due to crowds. Food was good!
My dinner was absolutely wonderful and the bread is delicious I ordered the vegetable lasagna. My husband had the rigatoni which he said was very good. The portions were a great size for the money. Our waitress was very accommodating to our needs. Which to me is always a WIN !!!
We had a delicious meal with great service. The octopus and the mushroom toast were probably my favorites out of the 7 items we ordered.
Delicious food and great service. Really liked the decor and atmosphere with a nice bar area. Excellent for pre-movie dinners!
Great lunch spot in Atlantic Station. They accommodated a change from cream to tomato sauce for me with pleasure.
The food was solid but the pasta carbonara was too creamy. The service was really bad we had to order our wine twice and we had to pay for bread service.
Visited Allora this morning for breakfast and the service was mediocre, dirty utensils, server very pushy and not welcoming at all. This was my first time there and frankly there are hundreds of other places I’d rather go on my next trip.
Meatballs with grits is the best,,
Mussels no flavor and overpriced for this serving,,
The food was wonderful, but what really set Allora apart was the service. Jaraspun was our waitress and she offered great recommendations that did not disappoint. My wife could not decide on a wine, so without even asking she brought her a tasting to help her decide.
The staff was very polite; that was probably the best thing about the restaurant! It was early in the morning so there wasn't really any guest eating. I thought the service was a bit slow, and the food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to rave about.
I'll try coming for Brunch to see if the food quality is better. We ordered the FRITTATA which wasn't good at all, the Chicken and Biscuit which was okay, and the french toast which was good but a little over cooked in some areas.
The food and service was amazing. We had an amazing meal at a affordable price for the atmosphere and quality.
Somehow we had one of the worst experiences service wise that I have had in Atlanta, even though the restaurant was empty on a Friday night - which I guess I know why. Waitress was completely inattentive, appetizers came out with the food, and the sangria was horrific. The appetizer of meatballs was great, but our main dishes had pasta that was severely over cooked and a lack of flavor.
We used our dining reward on this restaurant and feel like it was completely wasted.
Allora has the most beautiful round bar, but unfortunately, that is the best thing about it. We were so excited to eat there after reading the wonderful reviews, but it just wasn't a pleasurable experience.
SERVICE: Our server was new, so thankfully the restaurant was not busy as each item ordered took longer than expected to be delivered, while we could seeing it sitting under the heat lamps waiting to be distributed. Our water, soft drinks and cocktails were all dropped off with no beverage napkins or coasters, so condensation was all over the table and dripped on our clothes.
FOOD: We ordered the margherita pizza and corn chowder as appetizers. The pizza was served cold, despite us being seated just across from the kitchen, and only two other seated tables in the restaurant. The chowder was only warm and lacked flavor. Sweet Corn Chowder is supposed to be delicate, but instead of delicate; we received bland. Moving to cocktails, I ordered the sangria assuming it was be freshly made. Instead it tasted like a bottled, overly sweet, spoiled Lambrusco. Next we ordered the Shrimp Campanelli and the Pasta Carbonara . The campanelli was under cooked and sticky and the sauce extremely bitter. I did have to send the campanelli back and they were lovely to remove it from our bill. The cabonara was missing the egg yolk, yet it was the one item that did have great flavor. Lastly, we had the olive oil cake with vanilla ice cream and hazelnut frosting along with the strawberry bread pudding and strawberry ice cream. The strawberry ice cream was a standout here. It was creamy and delicious with large chucks of strawberry. The olive oil cake dessert was deconstructed with the nutella sitting underneath the ice cream off to the side of the cake. It definitely would have been better had the cake itself been frosted with nutella.
