Truly disappointing. Limited brunch menu only and then was informed no waffles or pancakes. Bloody Mary was vodka and tomato juice with no garnish, lemon pepper wings were sooo seasoned/ salty my teenager couldn’t eat. Place was dead, service slow, nothing special. But hey they got a 20% gratuity (which I would normally leave for great service) cause they automatically add it to your check. Guess when things are this bad you add it on up front to assure you can pay your employees to work.
Exceeded all expectations! Turned out for a perfect anniversary dinner.
I left early because they were out of half of the menu
The restaurant looks dirty and the value on the food doesn’t match.
Really enjoyed the food, drinks, and service! The lamb lollipops were amazing!
I would recommend to others. I only have seven words to say about my experience. Great food Good music an Great service....
No one was barely working. Wasn’t greeted, waters and drinks too way too long. We left after that.
If you have the money, I highly recommend this restaurant. I had the pizza and it was amazing. The service was relaxed fancy which was really nice, as I didn’t feel so out of place.
Allora is a corporate concept hotel restaurant with a very basic but overpriced Italian menu. When I walked in the main door I was engulfed by loud music and the shouting over it of patrons, with no maitre d in sight. We were seated outside to avoid the noise, but it was sort of like having a picnic, since there were no setups on the table. The waiter was very nice and trying his best, but there were long periods where we were unattended. I paid $33 for mediocre artichoke dip and a terrible personal pizza. The 20% tip is added automatically to all bills. Would not return.
I was invited to a friend's birthday celebration to listen to the band, Quinn and the Jukebox. The place was lively and the music was fantastic! The deep-dish margherita pizza was filled with flavor but didn't have enough basil and mozzarella. The server, D, was friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and willing to take drinks back to the bar until the drinks were satisfactory. Everyone else enjoyed the chicken wings, grilled chicken alfredo fettuccine, and fried chicken, and waffles sliders. It was a fun evening!
I visited the location on 8/15 for an event. The space is very nice but the food was very basic - almost like bar food. The drinks were very pricey…. $15 for a cocktail served in a champagne flute. If I visit again, I’ll just order an appetizer. The food wasn’t anything spectacular at all.
Bachelorette weekend dinner. Poor service and DJ was in the room singing badly. Bad experience
Great for a date night
We are going back for pizza night!
They allowed us to make a reservation during the time that they were closed. No one showed up to the door and no one answered the phone
Mixed feelings about this one...
We had been to Allora a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. This time not so much. It's not that only one thing was particularly wrong, just that it did live up to our expectations/memories. To start with we stood at the host/hostess stand for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. After being seated we waited another 15 minutes for our server at which time we each ordered a glass of wine. The wine arrived (again) in about 10 minutes. We "lost" our server again for about 20 minutes and when she returned we ordered dinner. Cook time on our meals was reasonable and the food was good (not great, but good). The kitchen and restaurant were so loud that we ended up sitting on the same side of the table so we could have a conversation. I'm also not a fan of an automatic 20% gratuity being added to the bill. I ALWAYS tip at least 25% but when it's forced upon me I'll go for the 20%. I feel that servers don't put forth as much effort when they know that they will receive 20% of the tab regardless.
Servers were great.
It was great would go all the time
Had a 6pm reservation for a birthday. Arrived to find no host or hostess. It was more like a dance club with loud music and sexy outfits. I was told we’d have to wait for a seat because they were having a special event. We left. Not sure why they didn’t call me to cancel my reservation. Seems to be some service and management issues with this place.
Ambience was nice. The live band was a plus. The food was good but definitely overpriced.
This place was fine - nothing amazing. Honestly, when I saw “20% gratuity added to every check”, I wasn’t excited. That’s expected for large tables but otherwise…I feel like it’s a ploy to cover for shortcomings…I was right. The service wasn’t great. It took time for our server to come over and a few times we saw her hanging with other wait staff. It wasn’t as if she was running around and just super busy. The water tasted badly and we never got refills which was a little annoying because the glasses were small to begin with. We ordered wings which were great! (This is what prevented me from giving 1-2 stars). We also got the burger. It was not great. It was fine. The bread was actually cold - for a $16 burger, that was pretty upsetting. We got a pizza as well. It took forever! Unfortunately, they brought out the cold burger and told us, “we messed up the pizza but will make a new one and bring it”. It came 30 minutes later. By that point, we split the burger and were very ready to leave so we asked them to pack the pizza. She took 50% off the pizza which quite honestly wasn’t enough. I regret not asking for a manager and having them remove the pizza from the bill considering the it took forever and considering the burger came out cold. Anyways. We won’t be going back. Wasn’t worth the money.
The server was a nice guy, but forgot things, did not get things right. If you serve pasta, it is typical to have a bit of complimentary bread to go with it.
Food tasted like hotel food. The chicken and waffles had zero flavor. The chicken was not freshly prepared it was heated up old fried nuggets and the waffle was cold!
The service is terrible. They lost our food order twice. It took 20-30 minutes to get a drink. This is the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Atlanta.
We had a great time until the bill arrived with charges that weren't ours. I'd told the server we didn't have the items and he said he would take care of it. He proceeded to charge our cards and when he gave us the receipt the items were still on the bill. I told him again and he went back and got a manager in which she removed the items but our cards were still charged.
And even though we paid $25 after 2 hours it's a bit much. As long as your eating and still ordering food it should matter. And 20% gratuity add to the checks of a party of two.
I would recommend everyone go to see Quinn and the band but all of that other stuff i can do without.
Quinn and the Juke box band was amazing. We really enjoyed them.
Food was good. Wine requested was not available. Only issue I had was that they charged a 20% gratuity for a party of 2 which wasn’t communicated and I ended up giving another 20% tip.
Host was great, food was even better! Great for date night and great food.
Enjoyed my first experience here. Our server, Darrius, was friendly, informative, and attentive. Our table tried the aroncini, wings, and chicken & waffles - the aroncini was my favorite. Our drinks were superb as well. Will definitely return.
Great music, food, and service, BUT the air conditioner was not working😖😳. It was VERY HOT n there!
Ban was SUPER DOPE!!! Food was delicious and drinks were DEFINITELY Flowing
We were there for Father’s Day. The plane had two other people besides us when we arrived. We sat there for almost tens minutes before a server arrived. While looking around for the server we noticed the health score was 85. We decided to leave!
Great food and cocktails.
Service was slow. Food was good but I wouldn’t go again.
The location, ambience, and service was GREAT!!! The menu items were slightly different from online version. They were out of one of the appetizers I wanted to try during my visit. Parmesan bites were great. My other food items were just okay. All checks have a required 20% gratitude added.
Food was pricey but still average. Cocktails were fine. Great ambiance and city view.
they have a limited menu and although I scheduled a reservation for 9pm they only have us 15 min to place orders because last call was at 9:30. Not their fault, probably COVID.
Worst place I’ve ever been
Had a great time for our Mother's Day brunch. We will return.
I enjoyed the food that I ate. For an Italian restaurant, there are certain standards that I expected to be on the menu that weren't there. The food was excellent...especially the mussels!
May 2, Sunday brunch: Horrible service! Made reservations, got there there 25 mins early. Wouldn't seat us even though plenty of tables open until the rest of the party arrived (and I was on crutches and was not particularly comfortable in lounge area). Offered us water while waiting, but never brought it. If we'd been seated, we would have ordered an appetizer while waiting for the rest of the party.
Ordered 3 Build Your Own pizzas for the four of us. One of them came out totally inedible, so they didn't charge for that one. Took 90 (NINETY!!) minutes for 3 - 15" pizzas to come out after they were ordered.
Waitress blamed lack of staff and "busy-ness" since they'd just re-opened for brunch. If 15 people at one time is "busy" for a restaurant that can seat 4-5 times that many, then I'd hate to see what "full" would be like. Clearly, the owner and/or manager didn't care about making sure they could handle even that few a number of people for Sunday brunch.
Regular week's menu looks interesting, but it will be a long time before I try them again when there are so many great restaurants in Atlanta from which to choose.
