The service was great. Our waiter knew my wife and I were out for a nice dinner. He did not rush anything. The food was very good (as usual). Lo Conte's is my go to restaurant in the North End. I highly recommend.
Classic North End. Great food with many options. Service was fast and very friendly with the North End charm. Would absolutely visit again.
They handled our larger business dinner on very short notice and the food was delicious, the service fantastic. And the portions were huge!
Great location and food. Didn’t like the price for soda at $2.50 each with no free refills. But food was great. Large portions.
There are so many great italian restruants in the North End, I just don't feel like Lo Conte was top notch! Maybe they were having an off night, but the food wasn't anything special and the service was minimal at best.
Lo Conte’s serves generous portions without much flavor or creativity. I had hoped for more....
Food was better than the reviews said.
Waiter was efficient and “brusque” in an Italian way - but very accommodating.
Quiet - but it was 3.30
Would go again for sure
Wonderful service. Delicious food. Nice location. Great atmosphere.
Delicious pesto, yummy bread dipping oil, wonderful service, wonderful food, great atmosphere
Everything was great. Can’t wait to dine at Lo Conte’s again.
Wonderful experience! Tasty food and large portions!!
When traveling we like asking the locals for recommendations. This was suggested to us and it is now our go to spot when in Boston. We recommend it to family and friends.
Always a great meal with excellent service. Whenever I bring a client to LoConte’s they are extremely impressed with the food and prompt service. Highly recommend.
Has been my favorite restaurant in the North End for years. However, this past visit the meal was rushed, we weren’t even finished eating our salads before the food came. The waiter rushed us to order stressing he wanted to get the order in before a big order. It wasn’t crowded enough for a big order. The Chicken Marsala was tasty but the chicken was so tough it was difficult to eat it. I will be looking for a new favorite restaurant although I probably will give it another chance once the sting is gone
We found our new favorite restaurant!! Took our family for Easter and everyone loved everything about this perfect place!! Thanks again!!
We were so happy that we made a reservation! The service was excellent and the food was very good. We were a party of 5 and all enjoyed their meals. I will definitely go back!
Pasta dinner before the Boston Marathon. We had a private room! Thank you!
A little noisy. Service was perfect. The food was served very fast.
Great food great service
Always a great meal at a fair price.
My favorite North End restaurant for 20 years! Excellent food and service!
Great food in a great location. This was my second time back (visiting Boston from the UK) and this time I brought some friends. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed their food! Will definitely be back!
Food and service was great! Would definitely go back next time I’m in Boston
Always fantastic food when we go there. One of the last family owned restaurants in the North End and it feels like it.... Highly recommend it.
Our server Mario was very attentive and efficient. Everything was wonderful.
The food was delicious, the server's were excellent. The hostess could use some people skills.
Chicken Maranga may very well be the best pasta dish I have ever had.
The restaurant was loud and busy, but with our reservation we were able to be seated immediately which was amazing. The waiter promptly brought over a carafe of water for us which filled 3 of our glasses and we had to flag him down after a few minutes to get another carafe. The appetizers looked delicious so we order three (Rice Balls, Fried Mozzerella, and Bruschetta). The portions were generous and the Mozzerella and Bruschetta was very good, but the Rice Balls lacked flavor.
When we ordered our entrees the waiter tried to speed up our ordering, as a result coming across rude.
My daughter ordered the Veal Parmesan which was over cooked and tough, my son ordered the Gnocchi with a Bolognese Sauce (in my opinion the gnocchi was too stiff indicating too much flour was added when being made) and the sauce was just OK. My wife ordered a shrimp dish which she enjoyed, and I ordered the chicken parm which was just OK.
Wine selection was decent and the pricing appeared very reasonable with a good selection in the $40 range.
All in all it was a nice night out in the North End and we may return to Lo Compte some day, but not on a Sat night.
LoContes is always my number one destination when friends are in town and ask to go to the North End. I have been going here for years and have always had an excellent meal. I think it is one of the best Italian restaurant in Boston.
Delicious Italian food for a good price. This is usually our first choice when going out to eat in the North End.
It again was wonderful. We especially enjoy the bread dip. Caesar salad great ! Also the off site parking worked out really well. Knowing that there was a place to park within a short walk; Priceless !!
Excellent food ..... never disappoints - yummy!
Great pasta! The fried artichokes were amazing and the arancini's were delicious. We had the best time with our waiter, who was super personable and carried a chair across the restaurant for our last minute addition. He recommended some great wines as well. Solid Italian food, portions were fairly large but not ridiculous like they can sometimes get. I also recommend the muscles.
Had the seafood pasta. It was excellent and a generous portion. Service was great. Hostess was very nice.
We had 2 people waiting on us a d it was still slow service. We sat for 15mins before someone came over. We order wine recommended by the waiter and it was very good. The bread took 30 mins to arrive wirhout the bread oil which took another 10mins to arrive. I ordered the chicken parm, and it was not good. If you claim to be an italian restaurant in the north end you cant mess up the chicken parm. The chicken was chewy and i could not eat it. My wife's plate was actually very good and good flavor but over all i would not go there again.
Over priced drinks with low quality. Food okay, not worth the price.
Awesome experience, great food and service!!!!
Food was great, service was great too! Waiter rushed our order for us in order to make the Celtics game on time.
The food here was outstanding! There were six of us and the service was prompt and very professional. We had such a great time and can't wait to go back!
Food was very good. Bread and oil dip too heavy spiced.
was looking for a little variety of dessert, but that's okay.
entrees were delicious and good serving size.
salads could have been presented better with more variety and
need choices of dressing for the house salad.
