Had dinner at LM on Friday. Were able to get last minute reservations. The food was wonderful. We were pleased with drinks menu. I had rack of lamb. Nice art in the restaurant. Service is good and it is quiet but not library quiet. The only reason i don't give the ambiance 5 stars is that my hair and clothes always smell like cooked meet after a visit.

My friend brought in a stellar bottle of Kosta Browne pinot noir 2009. Corkage fee of 25.00. Ok. Our server absolutely butchered the cork on trying to open the bottle. The cork broke in half, the broke into several pieces as she tried to extract it. Ultimately she was able to get it out and we did enjoy the wine. I'm sorry , but for that I would have liked to have seen some waiving of the corkage fee. Besides that , the food was terrific, rabbit legs, beautifully concentrated sauce full of depth and great flavor. Did go well with the Pinot. I really do like this place a lot.

Another great experience at Lloyd Martin! Special thanks to Shane for the personalized service and wonderful cocktails. Sam and his team put together a wonderful menu and we really enjoyed the crab risotto and albacore entrees. Looking forward to our next visit!

Food and service was great. Very nice that when we left we were thanked by chef, bartender and waitress. Love to eat in a small local restaurants that you feel your business is appreciated. Makes you want to return.

The food was excellent and imaginative. It was really really excellent food. I had a $14 plate of Himatchi that was huge and delicious. The only reason I lowered their overall score was because their menu is a mess. It comes on a 5x7" card and isn't organized. My wife and I had a very difficult time figuring out which plates were large and which were small. Also the price didn't help either as I said earlier the Himatchi was $14 and was substantial, then they had a truffle entree also $14 but it was as big as an oversized communion wafer. Also seems like the staff could have been educated and been a bit more helpful here as well. Its a super simple suggestion but just put a heading of Large Plates and Small Plates that'd help a lot!

Wow! Excellent, tasty food that is definitely at the top of our restaurant list. Revolving menu featuring the freshest and local ingredients. Husband had the best lamb chops he's ever tasted. Fish was so delicious it rates above another seafood restaurant known for it's seafood. Server was friendly and knowledgeable, that I'd go back just for him.

These people know food! This was the first time my wife and I have eaten at Lloyd Martin and the food was fabulous, well everything but the dessert. We ordered off the 4 course menu and the first 3 courses were great. The chef a Lloyd Martin knows fresh ingredients and how to use them. My wife started with the a pate and I started with a crab cake in what was easily the best pea soup that I've ever had. It wasn't heavy like a split pea it was fresh like a kiss of springtime and the fact that the sun had just mad an appearance made the soup seem like it came out with the sun. The crab cake was all freshness and deliciousness not polluted by heavy binders that have no place in a well made dish. Our 2nd course was a gnocchi and a ravioli that were again, ahhmazing! The peas were delicious the crab was perfectly done the sauces were present but not overpowering. The 3rd courses were a firm white fish in a delicious mole' sauce and duck, which my wife has a weakness for. It was at this time I checked my watch and we chose to blow off the symphony engagement for the evening for the dessert. They need someone in their kitchen who has dessert for a passion because as amazing as the rest of the dinner was the dessert was meh, average at best, and made us wish we has gotten it to go and taken in the concert instead. A flat finish to an otherwise outstanding dinner. Next time we'll choose from the other options on the menu but we'll skip dessert.

Fantastic pasta, creative ingredient combos that worked well, out of the way wines that paired well with the food.

Date night for my husband and I, we were heading to the opera afterwards. They were sensitive to our time constraints and the food was, as always, outstanding.
