It was one of the best restaurant experiences my wife and I have ever had. The staff displayed expert knowledge of the flavors and preparations for not only on-menu items, but off-menu preparations shared from the kitchen to the table. The meal was treated as an experience. Even if you were completely comfortable with what you ordered, the staff walked you through each dish (what to expect, how to best enjoy, etc). If you’re visiting the St Augustine area for any length of time - reserve an evening at this restaurant without delay.

This is hands down our favorite restaurant in NE Florida. They have a diverse menu with unique items that are all so flavorful. The staff is always so nice and the service is great. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Unique diverse Péruvien menu to include region wines and beers. Tiny bistro atmosphere with friendly staff. Great for couples or foursome groups. Having visiting a few times, I score them as 100% tasty!

Outstanding Peruvian cuisine. We ordered two types of ceviche, Spiced Lamb and Arroz con Mariscos. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite as well as the thoughtful wine pairing and wonderful presentation. The rice was the best rice I've ever had in my life. There's so much more to try on their menu. Looking forward to a return visit.

Tiny place, big flavor, very good storytelling of the origin and prep of ingredients. Enjoyed very much- Husband ordered grouper wrapped in plantain leaves, he was very happy, fish was perfectly moist and tender and seasoned. side of plantains were fantastic. I had lamb, the mint sauce was good and the lamb was good, but not the best I have ever had, the potatoes, however, gorgeous yellow globes, velvety texture on the inside, perfectly delicately crisped skins. I could have eaten a dozen. We had two mimosas, the flower bomb and a cucumber/mint combo. Both were great. Flower bomb was very delicate and refreshing, cucumber mint was more assertive in flavor, we liked them both, but think the flower bomb won overall. Dessert was sacred valley (chocolate mousse- but firmer). Interesting presentation. Always lots of little fires going on with the dishes. Great service, shout out to Gabriel..very attentive- I hope they will be able to expand into a larger space- or at least larger tables, a bit difficult to juggle the dishes on the table space and would be nice to be a bit further away from other diners (Ie not enough space to walk between the 2 seater tables and sometimes you just want to focus on who you are with rather than a communal experience- especially at the price point). We highly recommend- Thank you!

This is a special place! As in the past, the food was excellent and the service was very good. The menu is small to medium size but is packed with very interesting items. Both the rack of lamb and the surf and turf were outstanding. We also appreciated not being rushed through a lovely dinner. We'll be back, it was too difficult to select just one entree!

Loved the lamb and the chocolate mousse dessert! Great wine selection, and very reasonably priced. Was a little bummed about the service at the beginning, we almost didn’t get seated even though we were within the 15 minute grace period and had let them know we were on our way. Otherwise, very good meal.

I’ve always heard this is the best restaurant in St Augustine and it did not disappoint. I could have eaten each item on my plate as a main course. Everything was perfectly seasoned and all the flavors paired perfectly. The staff was knowledgeable friendly and efficient. I give this restaurant 15/10. One of the best restaurants in the Jax/St. Augustine area.

Our whole experience was perfect - from service to food. It’s small and can noisy but it still felt intimate. The food was just outstanding. My husband said the lamb changed his entire perspective on lamb - it’s not a protein he normally enjoys but had heard good things about it, so he gave it a go. And he’s very glad he did.

This is the second time we've eaten at Llama. The first time was outstanding with exceptional service. While the food is off the charts good, I noticed I was not asked if I wanted another glass of wine (I only had one glass) and they promised to make me a special drink and they forgot. Better luck next time.

The Llama is my favorite restaurant in St Augustine when I am looking for the complete dining experience. This was the first time I took my two grand daughters and it was a lovely dinner. Food and service was wonderful and the girls and I spent quality time together enjoying this special night out.

We were seated in a corner table that did not have room to change your mind. The service was excellent, the food was fabulous, and we enjoyed the meal and time there. One on tray did not contain key ingredients, but was corrected timely by the waiter, who was great! I will be back to enjoy the food and service, and would highly recommend Aalama to everyone that want to enjoy great food and great service!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect meal at Llama. Service was exceptional, food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Everything was on point. Thank you to our server who to took the time to explain the meals and went the extra way to make sure we had a great experience.

If you like Peruvian food Llamas is the best place to eat. Food service friendliness of staff were excellent. We went for our 44th anniversary. You must have reservations and usually need to book a month in advance. The restaurant was seating for 31 people This was our 13th visit. You can’t go wrong. A secret gem in St Augustine

My sister and I went there to celebrate a milestone. We couldn't decide on an appetizer, so we got three and they were all delicious. Everything was so flavorful and beautifully presented. Llama is consistently the best.
