This place was absolutely amazing. Don’t know expect a cheap dinner, but it will be well worth it. We did 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 2 desserts and we were not disappointed in a thing. If you can swing reservations be sure to visit.
Had a great time, the best food I had in a long time. Outstanding customer service and the place was perfect for my date.
Valentines celebration with my wife and daughter. I have been here a couple times before in the experience is always great
Fabulous food that you didn’t even know you wanted to try. Waiter was very accommodating and friendly, and the ambience was peaceful. I would recommend it to anyone
Excellent meal and outstanding service as usual!
I’m a foodie that has traveled the world, including Peru, this is hands down my favorite restaurant! The lomo is just simply amazing!
Wonderful first experience dining at Llama! The servers were friendly and helpful with advice on what to order since it was our first time. Even the wine recommendation was spot on and the wines by the bottle were mostly very reasonable.
Every course was tasty and beautifully prepared!
The food and service was excellent !! There are no words to describe the fabulous desserts. They were delicious works of art created by a chef that loves what they do. The only downside to this establishment is the restrooms are outside and around the building. After all, it is Florida and it does rain frequently. I will most definitely return and encourage others to stop by.
Steak, short ribs, fish and shellfish, all living together in harmony. Tasty cocktails, cookies, sabor y delicioso.
Wonderfully creative Peruvian cuisine and a delightful staff!
Lives up to expectations and more. Always a special treat when we are in town.
Wow, what amazing food! I've had Peruvian food a few places (sadly, not Peru) and this one is by far the best. The ceviche is amazing. Seafood stew was wonderful and quite filling. Could not finish the dessert and I'm still sad about that. Small restaurant to reservations in advance are a must.
Everything was excellent.
Service too! We will be back
We really enjoyed the food. We have been several times and the food and service are always great. They are not as flexible or accommodating as I would like. We knew the table of people next to us but they would not allow up to combine the two tables together. We also asked if we could swap rice for veggies and was told no. So, we asked if they could just leave off the rice and they said no. Lot's of no's! But if you are willing to play by their rules, you'll enjoy the food.
Very cute restaurant and different. The menu is very limited. One chicken dish. The service was excellent. If you want try something different then this is it.
One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Being from Chicago I am used to excellent meals. Tonight is right up there as one on the best!!?
Best authentic Peruvian food outside of Peru. Exceptional service.
Our cocktails were amazing . The fish grilled in a plantain leaf was flavorful and was accompanied by a tasty cilantro avocado dipping sauce. The seafood stew was hearty with some kick to it. Came with a very spicy salsa.
The ceviche was really good .
We had a good time and enjoyed our meal. The reason I didn’t give excellent ratings for everything is because I asked for the rest of my meal to take with me and they gave me someone else’s meal to take home. I didn’t expect that given the prices, the excellent food and their attention to detail, and didn’t realize it until I got home.
This is one of our favorite “date night” restaurants. The atmosphere is intimate and the food is amazing. It is truly delightful!
Had a fun time with my son, great waiter and delicious dinner!
What an excellent experience! The food was delicious and new to me and my partner. Peruvian fish? Arapaima was outstanding and the presentation was super. Bob had beef and it was fall off the bone tender and sooo tasty. All the accoutrements enhanced the sense that we had just arrived in Peru. The servers were friendly and helpful, explained easily and offered ideas. The restaurant is small and we felt we were in a very special place to enjoy the fine food. Would go back in a heartbeat. We’re only sorry that we were visiting but the rest of the guests that night were local people...a real testimony to the cuisine. Don’t miss this one!
Unique dining experience, at least for St. Augustine. Food was well prepared and and attractively presented. Menu is somewhat limited. Would like to see them offer nightly specials for more variety. Service excellent. Wine selection adequate. Nice stemware. Desserts are outstanding. Satisfying experience, if a little spendy.
Consistent quality and service. A real gem for St. Augustine.
Truly enjoyed our meal, wine, and ambiance! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to trying Llama again! The only reason I gave 4 stars is the restrooms are outside behind the building and it was cold!
One of our best dining eperiences ever! Tired of our local tourist town meals, we decided to splurge and we were not disappointed--every element was 100%. This is a skilled chef and a small staff that really care. We understand that they gave up lunches because they did not have the time to properly prepare for dinner and that dedication shows. I am normally a fast eater but had to slowly savor every complex little morsel. My only disappointment was that the did not server bread to wipe up the last of the sauces. We are not foodies as such but we have eaten at more than a few very respected restaurants and this little store front rates with the very best. The menu is limited and expensive but in return the chef concentrates on each plate and the diner wins. A special tip: don't ignore some mundane sounding items namely the superb chicha "fruit juice" or "cookies" for dessert.
Excellent flavor on all dishes we tried. Served aperitif of Blueberry Vodka and honey. Delicious. Aftermath appetizer delicious and fun.
Perfect. Service was exceptional. Food outstanding. Best restaurant I have dined at in St. Augustine. Everything was five stars. The food was delicious and pure art. Beautiful presentations. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.
Best, most memorable meal we have had in ages.
Excellent! The Lomo is to die for!!
Best hidden gem in st Augustine
One of the best restaurants I've visited. Ever. All around perfect.
Very small with only nine tables so reservations are a must. Fun & unique menu. If you want to do the 6 or 13 course dinner with wine pairing though, you have to let them know a few days ahead. Food was delicious and service was great. Highly recommend.
My wife and I loved the place. The food was amazing and very well presented. It was all cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was romantic and private. We would highly recommend it to others!!!
Excellent food . Presentation was very appealing. The tastes and textures were marvellous. This is one of those promised culinary experiences that absolutely doesn’t disappoint
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. It was our first visit to Llama...what an amazing experience! The food was very creative and delicious. We will definitely return soon!!
Wonderful food, wonderful service
Checked out Llama for the first time with friends. We all drove from Jacksonville and boy, was it worth it! The place is small, quaint and beautiful. The servers and server assistant were kind and knowledgeable. Anna was our main server, always delightful and attentive. The dishes were more like flavorful art pieces, inspiring us to bolt to Peru and explore asap! Their chicha morada is to die for and please, do yourself a favor and save room for dessert - I’m still drooling over the amazing custard. Congrats to the chef and team for this beautiful Saint Augustine gem. We left impressed and will be back soon! Thank you!
