This place is simply amazing. The food is excellent and the service is always top notch. Keep up the good work.
Excellent as always!
Amazing food. Love when I visit. Nice to have a great meal
One of our favorite stops when we are in WDW. Great pizza. The place is gorgeous.....especially the lounge. One caveat: I wish they served pasta with the chicken parm.
Having dined at the original Il Mulino and being from NYC I am extremely disappointed in the food at this restaurant. Lacked flavor and salt and was extremely bland.
Everything was great! Thank you for everything! We'll be back!
Service was very good, drinks and appetizers were excellent but main courses were just okay and not worth the price but since it’s a resort hotel restaurant you know it’ll be more
It was for my parent's anniversary and they have been raving about how good the food was and how special of an experience it was. Our waiter Howie and the whole team was fantastic!!
Despite us having a reservation on a holiday weekend, we had a very nice evening at this location. The portions were decently sized, the food quality was great, and we actually had excellent service from Tony and Mauricio. We didn't feel rushed the least bit and never felt as though we had been abandoned by the wait staff. The only downside to the evening is that the minimum dress code of "business casual" was not enforced. It was a lot of t-shirts, shorts, and flip flops, but given this location is attached to Walt Disney resort property you could understand they have relaxed this standard substantially. Also, there were several guests that were walking around the inside of the restaurant without their face mask on, which is required, so this was off-putting, specially with all of the sneezing and coughing we witnessed. Otherwise this was an outstanding evening for my family and we will certain be returning.
We love the location , great experience every time .
Recommended , try the risotto with mushroom
Full disclosure - this was a meal on Thanksgiving evening, so I’m unaware if there were staffing issues that particular night, BUT:
The ambience at Il Mulino is inviting, much like an upscale steak house found in many above-average/luxury hotels. The food is fine but unspectacular for the prices, which is also not uncommon at a hotel restaurant. The best meal we found was the Pollo Parmesan and Salmon with a spiced Mushroom topping, we were a little disappointed with the pasta dishes compared to the menu prices.
The service, however, was one of the slowest experiences we’ve had in years, Covid-times included. A salad and soup took around 20 minutes to come out, and in the end our entrees arrived 70 minutes after we were first sat. The reason we think this was not staff-based was another larger party had dinner and dessert and check in the time it took for our entrees; and the 2 servers assigned to us started avoiding our table completely about 25 minutes into the experience, which is usually a tell-tale sign they’re at the mercy of the kitchen line.
In the end and a couple hundred dollars and 2 1/2 hours after sitting down, we were done. It was…okay, but we don’t imagine we’d find ourselves back there as a first choice next time we stay at the Swan.
Sommier recommended the right Amarone for Thanksgiving.
Feels like home! First class service by all. Starting with the front of the house. Didn’t get the hostesses name from 23rd and 24th but she was so attentive and friendly. Loved her, remembering me on the second night and helping with the Disney virtual queue challenges. Thank you. Bartenders - excellent! Ate at the bar one night, Todd was exceptional and had our son actually talking. Loved that!
Guiseppi rocks it out of the park with the best service I’ve ever had. He and Alessandro are magicians, seriously. Food was excellent. Nice wine list too - Gattinara! That bread - man it’s good! We ate here every night and had something different - pasta, steak, pizza, veal - unbelievably good. Great job Matt!! Can’t wait to come back to the Swan. Top notch establishment.
Sat next to a pole blocking any view. Food was good not great and prices were high. Really average food compared to what I get in Houston at similar prices.
you want good Italian go here
The restaurant seems to be fully staffed which says something in this climate !
The restaurant was busy. We were still seated fairly quickly but had a reservation.
Table service was a bit slow.
We ordered calamari and the meatballs as appetizers. The calamari was good the meatballs were so dry they were inedible.
No matter how hard we tried we could not flag down anyone ! It was the same when they forgot to bring butter over with the bread in the beginning ofvtge meal. You are literally waving at the waiter and they don't come over! ( when I finally told the waiter he forgot the butter he got extremely rude and haughty, the bread was mostly gone by then anyway)
I finally stopped a manager that was walking by who was very nice and took the meatballs back and offered to give me another appetizer I opted for a cocktail instead.
My husband had the tortoni soup. The broth was delicious, followed by spaghetti alla vongole. He said it was really good but could have used more than 3 clalms in the whole dish.
My daughter ordered the tortolini alla panna and it was out of this world.
My son who is 8 ordered the children's Fettuccini. He liked it.
I ordered the veal. The SaltimbUcca. It was delicious.
They let it sit under the heat lamp a little too long so it dried out as did the sauce on the plate, you could see where it was just dried up sauce and hard dry procut, with ends of dry veal. The taste was there ! But 2/3 of my plate was left because of it being dry and the sauce basically chips on the plate.
We didn't get desert.
Overall for 160 before tip it was what I would call a decent meal ?
When the kids can get through it ...
we had 2 tables of 8 next to each other. Service was slow, children’s entrees were ridiculously small. Kids needed more food after their entree.
adult entrees weren’t that good! Very disappointed.
Food was not as good as expected.
Hostess was not very friendly.
Temperature in restaurant was uncomfortably cold.
Expected much more from a Marriott property.
Long day at park selected for convenience of location and I had dined at other Il Mulino locations.
Súper bueno todo
The meals were fantastic and prepared fresh to order.
Pasta was subpar, which is rare for this restaurant but then again this is Disney/Orlando. Other IlMulino we visited was in south Florida
One of the best meals we have ever had on Disney property
This is really a very mediocre restaurant and ...cannot be a fine dining atmosphere with many families even stroller ages. Way to pricey for the quality. Disappointed...the NY VERSION is wonderful!
It was freezing! Service was good! Food was good but appearance of food was not. I think it was overpriced. We told the waiter no to the limoncello and he still gave us four glasses and nobody liked it. The overall experience was okay, but our group of four have decided it’s not on the repeat list. It’s a one-n-done experience.
On vacation. Really good food. Easily as good or better than park restaurants.
Delicious food made my "bride-to-be" daughter feel special!
Service and food was outstanding.
The specialty bread was so good and then the main meal was phenomenal. I had the veal parm and my husband had the chicken parm. Portions were large and delicious.
Info the waiter was very inattentive and was nowhere to be found after we placed our order. He never followed up after we received our entree an hour after placing our order and it made for a very unpleasant evening. I will never go back.
A terrific meal & service.
My entree was excellent!! My husband ordered the Fruiti DeMare.. the clams, shrimp and scallops were all TINY. For the price of that entree, he would have expected at least the shrimps to be a "decent size"!
Also, they seated a table of 8 or 9 right behind us with "young children"! Between the Mom and the youngest child talking very loud throughout their visit...I'm sorry, but that was not acceptable! They should have been seated on the other side of the restaurant.
Nice place for a very special occasion! Pricey and the main course doesn’t come with sides.
Disney vacation & birthday
As always a fantastic spot with the family - adult kids. A must do on our Disney agenda.
This was the 4th time I have been to I’ll Mulino. It has been excellent every time. The food is superb and the waitstaff is always looking out for every patron!
Excellent food, one of the best restaurants in Disney!
