Il Mulino New York - Sunny Isles Beach

The food is excellent. The veal parmesan is pounded incredibly thin and delicious. The veal chop is grilled to perfection. The bolognese has a unique flavor that is difficult to replicate. It's truly exceptional. We've eaten here several times over the years and rarely had a bad meal. But these exceptional meals come at an expensive cost - worth it.
Food was amazing. Service was exceptional!
Cannot say enough how wonderful the experience was At Il Mulino. Food excellent, service beyond, great ambience.
The ambiance was very nice, the food was good and enjoyable, nothing to rave about. The service was very good, al little corny that the servers were dressed in tuxedo's.
Our favourite Italian restaurant. We frequent Il Mulino NY whenever we have the opportunity in whatever city they are located. The service is impeccable. The food is consistently outstanding and the ambience is refined but relaxed at the same time. We look forward to our next visit.
The main problem was mediocre service, as if you are not important enough for them to go the extra mile, or even half mile. After all, forgetting the bread even after you remind them is not classy, especially when the cheapest meal is $30+. The food was fine, but little was memorable. Elaborate dining room, but be wary of any eatery that feels the need to put "New York" after their given name. Outside was lovely, ocean view and all, but the "New York" is misleading, as that is a city where one is usually well attended to. Bottom line: perfectly fine for a celebration as long as food and service are secondary to the people you are being with. Not for folks seeking a once-in-a- lifetime evening.
Always a fantastic meal! Great service. Very pricey.
The food was amazing, but what was even better was our waiter. He made the evening even better than what it already was!!
Miss the location in south beach so had to travel to north beach (or wherever)...was nice and old fashioned goodness.
Another excellent dinner with great service. A wonderful dining experience.
Excelent food and place very recomendable
Very nice place
Way too expensive, wine list was not practical. I have eaten at Il Mulino in Vegas , NYC and Atantic City but this one was over the top expensive.
This is our third time eating year in three years and the experience was incredible and consistent each time. Food tastes incredible and the apps they for free before you order and delicious. Highly recommended for a date night.
Great food. Great service.
Good as New York service was excellent
FOOD. &. SERVICE. PERFECTION. AS ALWAYS .
The restaurant is brilliant as always, but don’t try to go within an hour before closing. We rushed down from a performance in Fort Lauderdale and they were seemingly annoyed we showed up 40 minutes before posted closing time. The captain told us the kitchen was closing 15 minutes before closing. Ultimately the music was turned off and someone began vacuuming while we were still dining. If the restaurant wants to close at 10 it should say so. It’s very inelegant for a restaurant at this level. But, again, if you go at 7, it’s brilliant.
Awesome food and service! The best dining experience
We opted for a brunch and couldn’t have been happier with the service and food quality. If you like fresh seafood and a bountiful of choices from fresh oysters to langostinos, shrimp, Salmon and others. This food fest included all you can drink mimosas, Prosecco, bloody Mary’s, white and red sangria, mojitos and wine where we dined with the best staff ever. We had Simone as our server who explained the food and drink items with great detail and enthusiasm. Simone was aware of everything we needed and made sure we were comfortable, happy and not feeling rushed. The music was pleasant and so was the atmosphere. For the price, you can’t beat Il Mulino for brunch. We’ll be back!
The service is outstanding and the food is fabulous.
Amazing! Highly recommended.
The food was fantastic and the view was absolutely beautiful. The service impeccable. When it got a little cool, our waiter brought a heater so we could stay outside a little longer. If you have a special occasion or just want a great meal with a magnificent view, put Il Mulino’s at the top of the list. It never disappoints. Can’t recommend it enough.
Fabulous whole, salt baked branzino. The frutti de mare was on the heavy, saucy side, but the fish was not overcooked. If you go, get ready to be transported back to 1980's NYC. The violinist, playing along to background tracks, was talented, but far too loud for a relaxing dinner. A little cheesy for our tastes. Cannot fault the service; excellent without being too stiff.
El brunch la comida muy pobre poco variada deben de mejorarla
Diamond experience from the moment you step in. Service is outstanding. Food is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be coming back for sure.
Classic. Tuxedo clad waiters, bus boys in white jackets. Knowledgeable staff. Food was great.
Very good food and service I really recommend this restaurant
Very disappointing. Pasty pasta. Sauce that tasted out as if was out of a can. Multiple attempts to clear dishes before we were done eating. Equally disturbing, an email registering our disappointment was not even acknowledged. We had been here often in the past, but this visit was simply a waste of our evening.
Great meal and service!
First time there. From the second you enter, you are the center of their attention. Everything was perfect, they start out with a chunk of aged cheese that comes off a Flintstones sized cheese wheel. From there the treats keep coming and it's all delicious. Ordered the lobster ravioli with shrimp and shared with my wife since she eats very light. Even after they split the order, there was plenty for a comfortable meal. We then ordered the torta... Sorry I don't remember the exact Italian name so I'm not going to butcher it here. It was ice cream inside chocolate and a whipped cream type sauce. This wasn't nearly as simple as I'm describing it, it takes them 3-4 days to make this. The wait staff was 5 star, always watching but never interfering with your meal. The ambiance was quiet, dim lighting, soft music. It's quite the romantic atmosphere to spend an evening with a loved one. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Thank you for a great evening.
I don’t know what’s going on with Il Mulino.
From someone who used to dine there on a regular basis, the place has gone downhill. Our friends were never there before. My friend ordered the rib eye and it was so salty, he couldn’t eat it. Dover sole remains excellent. The sides such as the peas
were way too salty as well. We couldn’t wait to get out of there
Excelente un poco caro
The food is great , the service excellent the restaurant is nice, but $300.00 for two pasras and Veal marcela with a couple of glasses of wine is a little high!!
It was absolutely perfect, as it always is. The finest restaurant in town.
Not impressed! Food was too peppery & way too salty. Overpriced non-superior quality Italian.
Good food and service
Amazing and consistent. Every time we go, we are amazed how it is always as good, if not better. Service is impeccable and just a great restaurant.
Great food ,service and ambiance
