Il Mulino New York - Atlantic City
Nestled along the Adriatic coast, Abruzzo is one of Italy's most beautiful and fertile regions - known for its pristine landscape, spectacular mountains and unspoiled coastline.
Feast on traditional Italian fare amid soaring ceilings, dark wooden floors and crisp white The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino brings New York to Atlantic City. Located on the first floor, close to the boardwalk entrance, Il Mulino New York is a luxurious complement to a night out on the town.
The (Italian with mask on) muffled a fish dinner with 2 clams and three mussels and some fish.
It sounded like it was $55.00 which I thought was expensive.
When bill came it was $85.00
I asked for no Calamari plate was full of Calamari. 15 pieces.
No compensation given.
Not coming back.
If I could give them more stars I would! Extreamly satisfied with everything. It was the perfect place for my anniversary dinner.
Disappointing. To be clear, we went there knowing how much it would cost; we were prepared to pay a lot and that’s fine; we wanted a nice meal to celebrate our anniversary. At any price, the food was disappointing but at their prices it was beyond disappointing and I was just left shaking my head like, seriously??
Food: The $16 side of mushrooms was an oily mess of fried mushrooms and onions that looked like it belonged on a south Philly cheesesteak; it was oily and flavorless and we didn’t eat it. Chicken parm was covered in so much cheese that it was just a soggy mess. I don’t know what kind of cheese was on top but it wasn’t very flavorful, just salty so I doubt it was real mozzarella. The mushroom ravioli was undercooked, not al dente, they were hard—had to send them back. Our waitress was apologetic and kindly had them remake the dish. Second round of raviolis were softer and more edible but still mostly flavorless and very salty. For a $50 plate of ravioli I’m expecting delicate, handmade pasta with a fresh flavorful filling and a fresh cream sauce made from scratch in the kitchen. What I got was more like frozen raviolis with sauce from a jar. Tiramisu should be a fresh dessert with different textures as the delicate lady fingers are distinct from the mascarpone. What we got was soggy, mushy, and overly sweet. For $15 a slice I expect cake that’s not a week old.
Ambiance: there wasn’t any. It was loud and echo-y.
Bottom line: I think this restaurant is pretending to be upscale but it’s more on par with your basic chain restaurants like maybe a TGIFridays. I would choose Olive Garden over this place any day.
The establishment was clean, and has a welcoming decor. The staff offered great service, and the food was absolutely delicious . The entire experience was amazing. I strongly recommend.
Great dinner and spectacular service!
My wife and I made a last minute reservation and where extremely happy with the quality of the meal. The staff was very attentive to every need.
The service was outstanding and the food was excellent other than being a little pricey it was definitely a fine dining experience
They sat us earlier than expected, which was great because we were hungry and our reservation wasn't until 9:30 pm. Distinguished service, amazing food, fine wine and we did not wait long for any of our courses. We order sauce on line from the NY restaurant and the real thing was even better!
Great by standing the social distance ... the space was right the lighting was amazing . The service was also amazing
The food was incredible ... the service and staff were outstanding . Already recommended this restaurant to family and friends . Will visit it when back in Atlantic City
Everything is a la carte which is fine but $17 for a side of rigatoni to go with my husbands veal parmigiana is nuts.
We visited and dined on an unusually quiet night. The servers could not do enough for us. Lots of individualized attention. The menu is plentiful and food so delicious. One of our favorite tastes of the evening was the fresh Parmesan cheese served as a pre-appetizer; we asked for seconds and were immediately provided with additional slices. The hostess, Nadine, was so kind and engaging. She actually phoned me the night before to ensure that I requested fine dining and not the Restaurant Week 3-course price fixe. Our pre-dinner consisted of fresh oysters. Our entrees consisted of salmon with sauteed spinach, a white fish special, and seafood risotto. All scrumptious. We also celebrated a birthday and the dessert and candle made it extra special!!!! Thank you Il Mulino!!!!
Probably best restaurant experience in all of Atlantic City - just simply amazing!! Wife loves it and there is always leftovers for next day because the don’t skimp on portions!!
The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back.
It was a very nice Elegante Restaurant everyone there was very pleasant . service was so great the servers were on top of everything making sure you were comfortable and pleased . I had booked the reservations on line everything I Requested for my Husband birthday they did they brought exactly what I told them at the end of the dinner they sang Happy Birthday to him he was very surprise he’s face was priceless I was very happy with the outcome. I truly Recommend this Restaurant .
Only complaint was the large obnoxious group of women that came in. Use of profanity yelling to each other made our dining experience completely uncomfortable. It wasn’t a packed or loud atmosphere that they needed to be that loud. Couldn’t even stay for dessert. Left immediately after entree’s. Informed management who was very nice and apologetic.
Staff and food was amazing. A bit pricy...a side of fettuccini to go with my dinner was $17
Was very impressed with the food and service, first rate.
Dinner was excellent! Price was fair and completely worth it. Staff was great from the moment we walked in.
Fantastic experience !highly recommend it .Awesome food and service
They start off great with delicious cheese and breads and some other delectable's. Would be OK if the food was better. Oysters had no taste. Steak was chewy and tough. Better restaurants around Staff was great.
Everything was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.
Amazing spot for date night. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back.
We had such a wonderful dinner. Everything was prepared to perfection. The portions are large and worth the cost. You really get what you pay for. NYC 's finest in AC !!
Food is over valued. Ordered lamb
Chops medium. Came out raw. Potatoes were warm. Very disappointed
Amazing. Thank you to all.
Great food , but the restaurant is very LOUD. There were only 3 other tables occupied when we got there, and there were two very loud, obnoxious women. By time we were having our coffee, it was full and sounded like we were at a football game. They need some heavy drapes, some carpet, and an acoustical ceiling to absorb the sound.
Without a doubt. Best Italian restaurant I’ve eaten at.
From the moment we stepped in, we were treated as special guests; everyone greeted us, and, once seated, we were brought cheese and breads. Service was amazing, as were the appetizers, entrees, and desserts! We've dined here before, and will definitely be returning!
Disappointing. We felt our pasta special was way overpriced (tagliatelle pasta with sausage in a tomato basil sauce for $38), and the pasta was rather gummy. Our service was fine, though a server at another table read off a different list of specials than our server read to us. I have been to Il Mulino in the past and enjoyed, but if I had to base a recommendation off of this visit alone I would suggest going elsewhere.
Eaten there a number of times and, never been disappointed!!!
Food was very good but VERY overpriced.
A bowl of pasta was $40
Everything about IL Mulino was above average! The food, the waitstaff, everything! Do yourself and your significant other a favor and try it! Highly recommended
A wonderful evening. The service and our dinner was outstanding. The servers are very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be returning.
This was always our favorite place to go to when we wanted a special night out. Since it has reopened, we do not like the decor nearly as much. It used to feel like you were in a dark old school Italian place in NYC. The new modern look is just not as cozy. We’ve also had issues with making reservations even when the place is half empty and there’s a snooty vibe that wasn’t present before. Still love the food, but don’t come as frequently as we used to.
Great food, exceptional service, wonderful dining experience and in Atlantic City where good food is hard to find in the most trendy of restaurants, I prefer AC Ill Mulino to NYC original version.
GREAT PLACE TO EAT A GRET MEAL.IT IS ALSO A PLEASURE TO SEE NADINE AT THE FRONT DOOR.
Food was great
Staff was even better
The wait staff team could not have better
Thx for a great New Years Eve!
Dinner was great. A bit pricey but you’ll get that at the casino.
Only negative thing was the toddler having a tantrum at the table next to us at 930pm.
We has a fabulous evening...the service was impeccable and the food was so good. The opportunity to book through Open Table was the best. I recommend Il Mulino for a nice, elegant evening
Ambiance was nice but a little too dark, there was a lot going on with side table cooking and multiple servers catering to each table, took a good 20 minutes to get a menu. We were presented with bruscetta which was good but no bread, the sample of lightly fried zucchini was cold and soggy, I ordered baked clams they were okay could have used a little more salt, and less sand, the ceasar salad was bitter, i had the Shrimp francese which was very tasty. I didn't care for the additional Captains gratuity because all he did was ask me how my meal was LOL.
